Hey! New news! We just recieved information on who won the Battle of the Sexes. Apparently, there are three winners. We know of two of them! These are spoilers! I am so sorry for neglecting the blog. I need to start posting more often. So I will start doing it more often. I have some news on Cara's words about the new Las Vegas cast:

Yesterday, Cara was on Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a morning radio show in Chicago hosted by Mancow. She talked about how the Palms is such a beautiful casino and that it is real different scene and mood. She also talked about how people treated the RWers there like celebs since they took up two floors there. Anyway, when asked if she felt jipped on not being on a Las Vegas location instead of Chicago, she said, "No way, I would have had enough of Las Vegas with just one weekend." Gotta love Cara for liking Chicago! She'll be on for the rest of the week as a co-host. You can catch the Morning Madhouse in Chicago on Q 101 from 5:30 AM to 10 AM CST. Sorry, we did not post yesterday. My computer was acting up and I had to shoot it...

Ruthie who does make an appearance on Battle of the Sexes confirmed a few things for us. She said that from her season Colin and Amaya did both take part. However, she did say that Amaya did end up leaving. (She made no such comment about the other cast members.) She also did say that Theo, Aneesa, and Tonya from Chicago were in attendance as well. Rumored to be in the final inner circles are: Aneesa, Lori, Melissa, Ruthie, Christina, Anne and Shane, Theo, Syrus, and Blair. Maybe Colin can join the guys in this group? Also, Wanda from eonline mentioned that the winner did not surprise her... The winner was a guy, but which one was it? She also said the Battle would air in January 2003.

Also, we recieved news from a Chicago native that Cara will be co-hosting on Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a morning radio show in Chicago on the radio station Q101. She finally found work!

Since yesterday's post we've been recieving a lot of conflicting reports about Arissa and other cast members. Apparently there are so many RUMORS about the Las Vegas cast. We've been hearing an attempted fork stabbing, which would lead to someone being booted, a relationship, whoring around, drug addiction, pregnancy scare, suicidal tendencies... And we've gotten names to most of these incidents... How do you make sense of all of it? Well, most likely and probably, these incidents are FAKE, we'll just have to wait and see.

Something that we can confirm is that someone saw the Real Worlders WAAYYY in the beginning of their stay in March. They saw the cast, cameras in tow, shopping in nearby Jean, Nevada, home of some pretty good outlet stores.

Also, someone reported to us that they saw a promo for The Real World: Las Vegas. I'm sure you won't see a lot of them until after the Video Music Awards are over, but you'll begin seeing snippets here and there as they will officially reveal the cast members names on the fourth.

We just recieved news from a very reliable source. Apparently, only six of the seven were seen during their stay at the Palms Hotel/Casino. According to someone who works at Skin, the swimming venue the Real Worlders worked at, only six were seen around May. Apparently, Arissa wasn't seen too often. We reported that Arissa was seen at gambling addiction meetings in May. Apparently, she had attended the meetings for five weeks. However, near the end of their stay, Arissa wasn't seen often with the Real Worlders.

What does this mean? Was she eventually kicked out? Maybe not. If all this is actually true, Arissa probably had to stop working at Skin because of the casino/slot machines/tables are right there. Looks to be a good season.

Hola. Hope that you've had an awesome summer now that September is rolling around. A good piece of news today:

We have a sighting from the Las Vegas cast. Seems real:

"This was at the begining of June, before the cast left "The Palms". It was a Friday night so there were tons of young twenty somethings in line to get into "Rain in the Desert" which I had heard was a frequent hang out party spot of the new 7 strangers. I noticed though that there were a set of glass doors to the right of the main entrance to "Rain" that people were coming in and out of, so I gave it a shot. I walked in and there were two big security gaurds with the word SECURTIY across the back of their shirts, I knew these were hired by MTV
and Bunim/Murray Productions because they didnt have on the regular Palms employee jackets. I walked passed them, slipping the larger dude a twenty. It was a pool area right near "Rain" so I am guessing I was in "Skin", I am not sure. But sure enough, I looked over to the right and there were about 2 camera crews all filming the REAL WORLD cast. Wow, I couldnt believe it. I walked over and the cast was standing behind a cart like counter serving some water and soda and stuff. I hear a short little black/mixed girl say "Steve, do you know where Callie is?". It caught my attention because I too am named Steve. A few seconds later, I was at the front counter ordering a Sierra Myst from Steve, the Real World castmember. There was a camera behind me, focusing on RW12 Steve and another filming crowd shots on the other side of the area. As I left the
counter, my mission complete, I was tracked down by a producer with a clip board asking me to sign the waiver. I read it, and asked what they were filming, just to annoy the producer a bit. "A commercial for the "Palms" was all she said, I smiled, noticing the BUNIM/MURRAY logo at the top, and I signed it. "Tell John
and Mary-Ellis, 'good job'" and then i left."

Also, we got news, may be real or fake, you decide: Apparently, in all of this season's craziness, one of the cast members become overwhelmed. (Remember the Ruthie days?) We've been hearing rumors, rumors, rumors... Anyway, with a casino right next to their pad, it is reported that someone develops a gambling problem. Sometime in May, Arissa was supposedly spotted going to gambling addiction meetings. She was required to go in order to stay in the house. Hopefully, this pans out to be true.

Also, someone emailed the final remaining colleges that Road Rules visits.. This next episode will be The University of Texas, at El Paso followed by New Mexico State.

The RW12 Preview has changed to September 4th at 9:00 CST/10:00PST. That is a Wednesday. However, the first episode of The Real World: Las Vegas will air Tuesday September 17.

We got an interesting email lately. It's from someone who spotted one of the cast members back in March:

"I saw one of the cast members in the Palms. My friend works in the Rio, and we went to the Palms to get some ice cream. Anyway, we passed the bar and we saw this guy at the bar surrounded by a whole bunch of cameras. He had black hair, so I'm assuming it was Steve. He was hitting on this girl. It was really bad. Plus, we went to the pool for a glimpse and we saw a blonde haired girl. We just saw her walking around. She was also surrounded by cameras."

Real World Houses traditionally only have THREE bedrooms. Plus, we're looking into that RW12 Preview thing. Word is that it airs on the 4th and not the third. Stay tuned!

The RW12 Preview will air on September 3rd at 9:00 CST/10:00 PST. MTV.com's on-air schedule isn't correct. Just for you guys who wanted to know.

Also, as the date for the new component to the website comes, we will be sharing screen captures and new features to the site. Things are looking absoultely great! We will include a message board for all of you that have been asking!

And finally, we know that all of you have been hearing about the Real World/Road Rules hookup in Vegas. We'll we have info on tension between two cast members. As you already know, they wrestle and basically hook-up in their pad. Well, we got news that there is supposedly some tension between Steve and Eric. Not really clear why, but probably because of something about the hookups in the house. Also, remember that Wanda confirmed some hookups: Alton and Kendal, Brynn and Rachel, and Trishelle and Eric. So that leaves these possible hookups: FrankorSteve and Raquel, and IrulanorArissa and Darrell, as Wanda reported that Shane didn't hookup.

And, despite some false reporting, thank your lucky stars that Lars and Ariel info didn't come true! Have a good day!

Hey! We finally got our new domain and we're going to premiere it on September 17th, the same day as the premiere of the Real World Las Vegas. More information will definitely become available within the next few days.

Also, MTV/BMP has decided to air a RW12 Preview on September 3rd, two weeks before the premiere of the Real World: Las Vegas. There you will meet the cast members and see the house. Expect promos as early as next week!

To asuage all of your fears about tonight's Road Rules episode... Wanda from e-online.com, confirms the spoiler (along with some behind the scenes tidbits) from Sarah herself:

"Unless one of the cast members was totally yanking my chain, it is Sarah. The cast member also told me that although she left on good terms, when they met up again in LA for press (Including yours truly), the girls had it out."

Also, on the Real World: Las Vegas:

"As for the Real World Las Vegas.. I know a lot of names are being thrown around and I can tell you that I can only tell you that Brynn and Alton are sure things... They hooked up with Kendal and Rachel while Road Rules visited their digs. (Kendal with Alton and Rachel with Brynn) Darrell also got some hot-tub action with another Vegas Real Worlder, which you've seen in the promos. The only Road Ruler not to get some lovin was Shane. So I'm guessing no gay guys on the Vegas cast."

She also goes on to talk about Brynn being with Rachel... Someone asked her about Brynn being the lesbian... She said that she was a girl... Anyway, she also goes on to correct her previous statement about Darrell and changes it to Eric in the hot tub!

People keep e-mailing and asking about Sarah and if she gets voted off, as people are looking at the "this season on Road Rules" promos, and finding inconsistenties. Being as the episode is tomorrow, let's dish it out:

Wanda from E-online said that it was Sarah. (She actually said it indirectly... As she'd get the Road Rulers in trouble if she did. MTV.com posted a summary of the episode on their on-air schedule SAYING Sarah is the one to be voted off. (They mysteriously deleted that summary.) There are several other things. Like SUPPOSEDLY, Kendal and Rachel were SUPPOSEDLY spotted further west than Texas with the group. Also, I recieved an email from a reliable source (they proved their connection) telling me that Sarah was voted off (4-2). As for scenes not yet seen with Sarah that were in that promo... There's still one episode left and maybe they'll show it tomorrow or maybe they'll not show it at all since they have hundreds of hours in editing. As always, MTV looks to distort the truth. So, either the promo is wrong or the info they've been giving out is wrong. That'll be pretty awesome if Kendal or Rachel would be the ones to go... I would have a newfound respect for the editors and rumor starters over at MTV and BMP.

This is a SPOILER! Something NOT about the Las Vegas cast. We recently got news about the Road Rulers final mission and their handsome reward. They will call it the "Blind Faith Mission". Remember how the Road Rulers had to entrust each other in Mission #1 at Appalachian State? Well, this time it's a little different.

They filmed this FINAL episode at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo back in April. It is one hour north of Santa Barbara, California. It's part of the California State University System. The WHOLE RV was lifted high into the air with a crane and attached to the RV was a platform where they had to walk across an obtacle course to the other side. Darrell was the first member to go across with no blindfold and the rest had to go across WITH a blindfold. They used the directions of Darrell on the other side to help them get across. It was pretty amazing watching the filming from the ground. Each member emerged from the RV that was dangling in mid air and had to climb up to the top of the RV and then out onto the long obtacle course tight-rope sort of thing to the other side. The handsome and final reward for this mission was a trip around the world.

Their mayors were named Ben and Katrina. Apparently all they asked when they auditioned mayors was their shirt size. ANYWAY, you can read the article Cal Poly, SLO wrote here. But most of this info was emailed to us by a student.

A friend from Steve from the upcoming Real World Las Vegas, who goes by the name of "Biff", recently emailed us about the cast member and gave us exclusive pics! If you use these pics, please give credit to our site. :) Apparently, the Real World/Road Rules connection this year is a little more freaky than we thought.

Remember the Boyz Cellar? The bar that Shane and Darrell stripped in. Supposedly, even though he's straight, he bartended at the bar. So... he must be very free-spirited. Also, he attended Southwest Texas State, the same college that they did the bungee jump from. He also hails from Austin, Texas.

Wanda that beautiful, beautiful vixen on E-online.com revealed some juicy, scary tidbits on the Battle cast... as she promised and as we were reporting to you. These are spoilers... She reveals that Puck is the one who ties the knot to his lovely, lovely girlfriend. It is actually the one who he beat up and was put in jail for a year for beating her up. Anyway, don't expect that marital bliss to continue, as when one of Puck's favorite Real World girls are voted out of the girls group, he goes crazy, chasing the camera guys with a machete. WOW. Anyway, he's kicked off, and the latest Real World guy who was voted off replaces Puck for a week.

Also, Wanda dishes on James and Emily, the couple who got together after the Extreme Challenge. Well, remember how Emily was saying on Battle of the Seasons that once Chadwick was gone, Holly would crumble? Well, after the guys kick James off, Emily votes herself off. She was supposedly very close to winning. Another WOW.

And finally, as was hinted before, the guys are in the lead... but this is probably the biggest spoiler, the guys WIN the actual Battle. And this was confirmed through one of our sources who is close to some cast members who were on the Battle.

This whole dish about the Battle has also cleared up, it gives us a little insight to how the game is played. A few surprises are promised, but it's the same premise as the Seasons, expect inner circles are formed through male/female groups. Also, expect to still have some Real World/Road Rules tensions, as it'll still be Real World/Road Rules as promised!

This is the beautiful Bree who we reported eariler that was on the cast. This is actually the Palms swimming pool that she's in, where the cast works. Also, want to see the Real Worlders boss in their stay in Las Vegas?



The guy on the left is George Maloof owner of the Palms and Sacramento Kings. (The Real Worlders were seen hanging out with Sacramento Kings star Chris Webber and his girlfriend Tyra Banks.) It is really unclear if we'll see Mr. Maloof in the season, but we do know that the Real Worlders worked in the casino under Maloof's instructions to promote and work in order to stay in the hotel.

In connection with the Real World Las Vegas, someone emailed me about a small relatively unknown site dedicated to the Real World Las Vegas. You can find it here. (Thanks to Mike for that.) Anyway, we already know that Trishelle, Bree, and Steve are confirmed cast members of the twelfth season. However, it adds Brandon and Ariel to the list. The two cast members supposedly found the site through a forum and signed the site's guestmap. They say that they are under contract not to release any pictures until two weeks before September 17. If you're a castmember, send your pics our way at newrwroad@hotmail.com (Heheh... I had to say it.) Ariel hails from Oregon and Brandon hails from Massachuttes. We'll see if this pans out once the season starts. Also, we recieved an email saying that Lars was a part of this cast... So far it's Trishelle, Brandon, Ariel, Lars, Steve and Bree...We just need the seventh, who can be either a male or a female.

Also, with news from BacktoRendovouz, we recently heard that Judd from the San Francisco season is working on his Green Lantern comic. He was actually lucky to catch the interview with Judd on MSNBC:

"Last night RW3's Judd was interviewed with a news reporter on MSNBC, talking about how he's adding a gay teenager to the comic book series "The Green Lantern", and there was a confrontation between someone who hated the idea and Judd. Currently Judd is working on the comic "The Green Lantern" and is happily living with wife and former RWer Pam."

Also, look for the Road Rules Halfway There Marathon this weekend on MTV. Check your local listings for airtimes. PLUS, PLUS, PLUS... enter the Road Rules Midterm Exam Sweepstakes. You have to be 18 years old and a U.S. citizen in order to enter... You don't have to take the quiz, but the quiz is relatively easy. A little more news than normal today... Thanks to BacktoRendevouz who let us use their pictures that they took off the preview from the Real World: Las Vegas house! Here they are:







The house looks great. On a related note, everyone who views these pictures say that the house looks crammed. It's not that crammed. Actually, this is one of the biggest houses in RW history. (By far, Miami holds the title for that.) However, this house is significantly larger than the Belfort, which was pretty huge.

Also, I'd like to mention a site about past Real Worlders and Road Rulers, it's called Worldwide Talent Group. If you're considering an alumni to lecture for your school, go to their website. They have the hook-ups on all the cast members and most of the cast members ONLY lecture through them.

Also, we have an alumni update. Rachel from The Real World: Back to New York is now tending bar aat Scopa on Madison Avenue at 28th Street. Looks like she grew out of her virgin qualities. If you are in New York, go pay Rachel a visit.

Also, another visitor clued us in on Lindsay from Seattle and Battle of the Seasons fame about her and a recent marriage proposal:

"Lindsay is on the Bert morning show on Q100 in Atlanta. Well, on Tuesday, her boyfriend of 5 weeks, whom everyone likes to call "Frenchy" because he's French, actually PROPOSED to Lindsay live on the air. Well, everyone, including Frenchy, had to wait until Wednesday to hear what Lindsay said. Much to everyone's disappointment, Lindsay told Frenchy that she's at a time in her life that she doesn't want to be married. Frenchy kind of new that the answer was going to be no, but he said he would have been surprised if it was yes."

A little insight to the next airing of Road Rules. SPOILERISH INFORMATION... This next episode, which is the voting off episode, is all about the group. The group, with the impending threat that a random person will be removed and all their prizes will be taken away, will vote to vote. It is unclear who changes their mind.. The preview puts it on either Rachel or Sarah. Anyway, one of them does change their mind and Sarah is voted off. The rest of the episode is how Kendal handles Eric's quick action to voting someone off the group. This episode will air on the 19th. On the 26th, Road Rules will take a week off. Expect the newest cast member to be introduced on the 2nd of September. The person who is rumored to be joining the cast is Raquel from Round Rock, TX. This is a rumor and hasn't been confirmed from a realiable source. It'll be interesting to see though. Also, expect three more bungee missions, as bungee.com reports that they were coordinating 4 different stunts for Road Rules in Tempe, Santa Barbara, Lubbock, and Austin. In these last few episodes, they are known to visit schools in Arizona, California and Nevada. So stay tuned for that.

A few updates today: Zap2it.com recently wrote an article about Chicago's Chris, Cara, Theo and Kyle in attendance at the Teen Choice Awards (airing Monday on Fox) to present Jennifer Love Hewitt's performance. There are one or two interesting tidbits in this: especially the part about September 11th. I'm just disgruntled now...

"The cast of MTV's "The Real World: Chicago" was on hand to introduce a musical performance from Jennifer Love Hewitt. As Kyle Brandt, Cara Nussbaum, Chris Beckman and Theo Gantt walked the red carpet, it was hard not to notice them gawking at the "American Idol" contestants being swarmed with attention. Perhaps they chose to star in the wrong reality show. When asked what their advice would be to future "Real World" wannabes, Cara shouted, "Don't do it." Admittedly, she may be bitter. She admits that she can't find an agent who wants to represent her or a film to star in. Kyle has no such worries; he was recently the lead in an independent film, adding that it won't be appearing on Hollywood marquis. Chris is still modeling in New York, and Theo has showbiz aspirations of his own. One interesting tidbit, the cast admits their filmed reactions to Sept. 11 were staged. When the tragic event was taking place, they were actually at Wrigley Field for a photo shoot. Reality TV is not real? Say it ain't so."

Also, Melissa further updated her site, giving us a clue about why she deleted that information. She talks mostly about American Idol in her latest entry:

Now, the whole losing the money thing can mean any number of things. She might get sued because she's talking too much about the challenge or either that or she won the challenge and lost all that money she got. Who knows? She also mentions in the entry that she auditioned to be one of the hosts of American Idol, positions which are filled by Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman... Melissa hosting would've been hilarious. She also mentions in her RWNO section that she hates the article about TV Guide and the Lost Season.

Also, we will keep you updated on this... but Wanda from E-online is going to write an article this Friday supposedly about the Battle of the Sexes. She is suppose to mention tiny tidbits about everything and it'll definitely be an article to check out.

All the posts from Melissa's site regarding being at Jamaica and the Battle have officially been DELETED from her site. No clue as to what really precipated the deletion. However, the Battle did end yesterday, so Melissa is possibly back from the trip already. There is really no clue as to why she deleted them. BMP could've told her to go ahead and delete them. Something might have happened at the end of filming. Nothing is really clear and there is no definitive answer.

Also, we also got some news about Aneesa and someone saying they spotted her at a club at NYC a few weeks ago. So she was probably voted off earlier than previously thought.

She reported that a wedding took place Some good guesses were Keri from the Chicago season. Although she did announce that she was "pre-engaged"... (How does that work??) She is not the one. Also, were James (MVT) and Emily (USA - Tour 2), who are currently dating, but that's false. And she really didn't reveal it flat out... But expect everyone's favorite Real Worlder, PUCK to tie the knot. Maybe it was that chick who he beat up...

Also, Wanda gave us a clue as to who is winning and it's the boys. Sorry ladies...

If you didn't read the latest TV Guide about the Real World: Vancouver you missed some pretty decent information. Well, from watching the movie, most people know that Rachel (San Franscisco), David (Los Angeles), Amaya (Hawaii), David (Seattle), Aneesa (Chicago), Mike (Back to New York), and Melissa (New Orleans) were a part of the alumni challenge cast. However, did you know that BMP had approached two other alumni to do the Lost Season?

Yes, apparently both Puck (San Francisco) and Eric (New York) were both asked to be a part of the movie. "There was a little problem with his management." said Jonathan Murray of Eric, co-producer of the shows. We also saw that little problem rear its ugly head with Eric when the All Stars cast was asked to record their own theme song. And Puck, well... Julie Patzwald who played Melinda on the movie says Puck wanted big bucks because he believes he's a big star... He wouldn't work for scale.

And you think that the Lost Season cast would show some love for the around 80 reality tv veterans that Real World has produced over the years. Most of the shows actors, who are mostly Canadians, have never seen the show and are bitter about reality TV. They all believe the craze, spurred on by shows like the Real World, has taken food out of their mouths.

And the article goes on how to say that Rachel, Melissa and Amaya feel pigeonhold by their tv personalities. Amaya will almost forever be known as the Most Annoying Cast Member as voted by TV Guide fans in 2000. Sucks to be them...

As for the Battle, I could sit here and recount hours and hours of speculation, redrudge every piece of news about the Battle that we've ever posted. But if you really, really want to know... go to our archives. You'll find the link at the left. Anyway, what most people want to know is who is left at the end. Well, these are semi-spoilers, because we know that most of these people are left. Melissa, Blair, Lori, Ruthie, Syrus, Christina, and Anne. This is last we heard. Theo, Aneesa, and Shane who were a part of this list, have been supposedly spotted or contacted at their homes. This is all speculation at this point though. They are staying at the Round Hill Hotel and the Battle is scheduled to end TODAY. The rules are still Real World vs. Road Rules, however.. SEASONS has no weight this time around. It's guys vs. girls... so expect some weird things to be happening.

We recieved an email the other day from a faithful Real World viewer who gave us a sighting! A sighting of none other than the Real World Chicago's Theo. If you remember Theo was a part of the Battle of the Sexes which should be ending filming by at least tomorrow. Here's the sighting:

"I was at the promenade in Santa Monica and who did I see none other but Theo from Chicago? Me and my friends were all excited and we went to go and ask him questions. We knew that he was in Jamaica from this site actually, so we asked him what he was up to since the show ended. He said that he just came back from vacation "somewhere nice". Then we asked about the Battle. He didn't mention anything, he just smiled. There were a lot of people around him, so it was just a "hi and bye" kind of deal. But just to let you know, he's been voted off!"

Hey! Wanda from eonline.com has provided some juicy updates from our Chicago cast! Seems like some are doing well... While others are NOT. Plus, Theo who has been rumored to be on the Battle was at the Teen Choice Awards.

"Also at the Teen Choice kudofest were four cast members of the best damn Real World ever--Kyle, Chris, Cara and Theo of Real World: Chicago.

Cara, who bemoaned the fact that she can't find a single person in this town interested in repping her, said this when asked what advice she would give to future Real Worlders: "Don't do it." (I'd agree, based on what a sweetheart she is in real life compared with her slutty she-devil persona onscreen.)

Kyle, on the other hand, seems to have no regrets. Looks like he's swung into full supermodel mode, donning a gauzy white linen shirt untucked and unbuttoned to mid-chest, with lots of hair peeping out. Ooh-la-la! He said things are going "quite well" for him, pointing out that he just played the lead in an indie film. (Oh, and did he mention he played the lead role?)

Hello! Long time I haven't updated in! Things have been busy! I've been away for three days with no internet access, so I couldn't update. I did just come home in time for the Real World: Lost Season. As a Real World fanatic, I thought it had its good points and its bad points. The beginning where they're being filmed in their "natural Real World" state was HORRIBLE. It was overacted and BAD. Also, sad to say... the alumni cameos were also not so good. Funny at times, but not good. They should've just let them do whatever they wanted to. The good points were some of the technical stuff. Just picking up everything in between. The small things, references to other shows. Pretty much horrible storyline, sorry.

Also, we did see the Las Vegas house, a little, little itty bitty part of it during the Lost Season. But you also saw more. The high definition cameras that were used for the Lost Season, giving it that movie kind of vibe at the end, will be used in Las Vegas. DONT WORRY, I've been assured that it won't be like the movie at all. Also, I was told to look at the house closely at the psuedo-Real World house built in the woods because some of the stuff in that house was actually taken from Las Vegas. The most notable was the shower Omara and Adam did the deed in. It is like the Las Vegas shower with the shaded portion in the middle. Look for more to be uncovered in the future.

See, I don't understand how one could argue with the dictionary definition of obsequious. Two people now have told me that the word means "fishing for compliments" but the dictionary clearly states that it means something along the lines of trying too hard to please or promptly obedient. Now, I can understand holding fast to a wrong definition because that's all one has known, but the dictionary doesn't lie. And with that, I will never use the term ever again because now it's tainted. Dude, and even after the dictionary (that does not lie) I am still being told that it means something it doesn't mean. What is the deal?

He is gay) and I remember trying out for the Las Vegas season and seeing him at the open call and he told me that he had already been chosen so i think it is true that he opted to go to Las Vegas so he wouldn't have to be in Chicago . but I just had to let you know that he is definately on the new cast!!! If you need any more tidbits on him, I will let you know although I do not know that much. All i know really is that he used to be a watier at IHOP and that is where I met him and I would flirt with him non-stop (but he told me he was seeing someone (but i did not care!!) and then i went back and another waitress has told me that he did not work there anymore and that he went to las vegas to be on the Real World and I just could not believe it and I said that I would have to wait and see for myself... And when you posted that name I just knew that what he and others was teling me was true and that he did make it on the Real World. He is not that cute and it has been a while since I had seen him but from what i remember he has spiked blond tips and he was sort of long in the face and just sort of cute!!! So I think I can officially tell you that Lars is on the Real World 12 and he is gay. Now if i am wrong then i have been totally bullsh***ed all the way!!! But i am 100% sure that he is on the cast. He told me he made and I did not beleive him and then his former co-workers told me that he left for Las Vegas!! I mean that is it!!! He made it!! I'm really glad they are showing the Real World 10:Back to New York. I watched all of the episodes again. I realized how selfish Nicole was. If I would have been living in that house, I don't believe I could have been able to deal with her actions, she was way harsh to all the roommates I thought. Especially Malik,Mike and Rachel! This was my favorite cast, so I really enjoyed watching the reruns. I also liked watching the Boston cast. That was a good season too.

In news today, the original information that we provided seems to conflict with this latest press release. Apparently, Puck from the San Francisco season is currently serving a one-year jail sentence for assault on his girlfriend (the one he met on the show.) Prior to the tenth anniversary special he has been booked on charges. So, apparently, he's not a part of the Battle of the Sexes: Here's the Link to the article.

NOTE: Heheh... The article at people.com didn't have a date, so naturally we assumed it was new news. It's not. He has not been arrested again. This article is the original article when he was arrested back in 1998. Hehhe. We're people too! We make mistakes!

Also, along with setting a date for the Real World: Las Vegas book, BMP is currently releasing the entire first season of the Real World on DVD September 24. It is also releasing it's second Vacations video. They had released one based on Seasons 1-3. Look for this one to cover the vacations in Kenya (London), the Bahamas (Miami), Puerto Rico (Boston), Nepal (Seattle), India (Hawaii), South Africa (New Orleans), Morocco (Back to New York), and New England (Chicago). Teen People interviewed 21-year-old Shani Pride and Real World alumn Amaya in their September issue about the upcoming Real World: Vancouver movie. Here's the article:

"VCR ALERT Real World: The Lost Season

This is the true story of seven strangers picked to live in a loft, have their lives taped - well, you know the drill. In the fictional MTV movie, Real World: The Lost Season (August 6), a disgruntled Real World reject kidnaps a group of Vancouver housemates and holds them hostage. "The characters are all stereotypical," says Shani Pride, 21, who plays Omara, the controlling, hard-as-nails roommate. Which means they also must have a healthy sense of humor, as several real-life Real World-ers have cameos (as themselves) in the film. "We're making fun of ourselves," says Real World: Hawaii alum Amaya, 24, adding that if she were kidnapped, "I would not cry. We'd probably all just end up fighting!"

There's a picture of Amaya and the Vancouver cast scared in a van. The caption says: The housemates are in for a bumpy ride in Real World: The Lost Season. Unlike the show, there was a script, says RW: Hawaii's Amaya, who makes a cameo, "but we were allowed to improvise and we went a little wild."

Just more info on BMPs interview with MSNBC. It's finally confirmed! Real World 13 will start shooting in January; though there still isn't a set location, nor a cast. Casting according to BMP's website will occur sometime in September. Here is the interview. Brought to you by MSNBC.

Just a further update on Kelley from New Orleans, it seems that a little bit close to the Battle of the Seasons she had moved to New York to persue her entertainment career. She was working at an internet radio station prior. She tried to make the long distance relationship between her and Peter work out, but it didn't come through. Prior to the breakup, rumors were flying that they were to be engaged.

Also, BMP also gave a recent interview with MSNBC on the premiere of the twelfth season and the wrapup of the eleventh season. Well, they said they are WORKING on getting Real World 13 off the ground... However, they said the location is not decided yet. (BMP always lies)

There's an alumni update! Kelley from the Real World: New Orleans and Battle of the Seasons is said to be dating none other than Scott Wolf from Party of Five fame. Scott Wolf actually told reporters this from People Magazine and it appears in the issue with Sharon Obsourne on the cover. No word with what happened with Peter, the doctor from New Orleans. Thanks to Jakatac for that.

Also, here's the short blurb about Road Rules... I thought it was an OK episode last night.

"OK, I think that whole Kendal/Eric thing was so stupid, so childish. It was like... I hate you, I love you, I hate you, I love you! Both of them should get over themselves! After I posted about the upcoming Real World Las Vegas cast, I got an e-mail. This is what it said.

"The other name, the 7th one not on your site's list, that's I've heard thrown around a lot is Geneve. I'm trying to remember all of what I've heard about her. However I do remember that a post, (long before RR11 premiered) said that he knew two people on the shows. He said that there was an Eric on RR and a girl named Geneve on RW. Also I'm fairly certain that it isn't Brie, it's Brynn. I know that someone saw a suitcase marked Bryan in the house and admitted that he glanced quickly after someone told him that it was probably Brynn's. Steve I think is a for sure, someone mentioned knowing him. I personally believe that Alton is real too. My cousin went to Skin in LV and said she heard that named thrown around quite a bit with the workers. Every post that had a Michelle on the cast, probably misheard Trishelle's name. I also think that people reporting on the cast have confused the descriptions of Trishelle and Geneve. Trishelle is your "hot black girl" as one poster called her and Geneve is the "very attractive short brown haired white girl". So if I had to guess I would say that for sure, five of them are...

Now for the subject of Lars and Ariel. I could be true, we've been told that one person chose to leave the Chicago cast. In some instances we've heard two people...this might explain why Kyle and Cara arrived late to the house. Going off of all the information I've heard about Lars and Ariel I can tell you this. Lars is a surfer boy from Cali and Ariel is a very punky girl. Having Ariel as part of the cast would confirm the rumors of Ally being on the cast, I'm fairly sure people could mix up her name with Ally much like Michelle and Trishelle." Rumors on the upcoming season of Real World 12 set in Las Vegas, Nevada; Tubescan.com's Message Board has reported that "apparently" these are some of the names of the cast members that will be on the upcoming season. Alton, Steve, Brie. Lars, and Ariel are all the names that was reported. Wanda recently reported that Trishelle is officially a member of the cast. (She hooks up with Road Rules Darrell) Also, something interesting to note, most people comment that Lars and Ariel are names that are thrown around every season. However, some also believe that these were the two cast members who opted to go to Las Vegas instead of Chicago, because of the shooting in Chicago. Who knows? Trishelle is officially the first confirmed cast member of the Real World: Las Vegas. Here's Wanda on The Las Vegas shower:

Expect lots of sex in Vegas (as evidenced by the Road Rules romp). Apparently, the shower is in the middle of the suite and has no doors. It's surrounded by clear glass that is only clouded from about your knees to your neck. Peep World: Vegas, here we come.

And you thought the double headed shower in Chicago was good. Finally, AMAZING news on the Battle of the Sexes:

"Yes! And I'm still scraping my jaw from the floor. I heard from someone very close to the show that a cast member got married during the shoot. Also, and this is the one I'm finding hard to believe, someone went nuts after getting voted off the show and attacked the camera crew. Third update for the day... and this time it's for our Road Rulers from the Campus Crawl. The following will pretty much SPOIL your viewing pleasure for the next five weeks, as we are pretty much giving you the STORYLINE for the next five weeks... Don't read if you don't want to know... Also, thanks to YurowindsMX300 for providing us with this information.

This Week:

Eric and Kendal's romance turns stormy as her sexual bravado intimidates the less experienced Eric while the cast must decide whether or not they will bare it all by posing completely nude in their "Art Class" mission sponsered by American Eagle.

Week 2:

Shane battles with his own homophobia as he learns that coming out to his parents is only the first step in embracing his sexuality.

Week 3:

In this two part cliff hanger, friendships are tested and loyalties are divided as the cast fails another mission while facing a 'Car Surfing' competition, forcing them to make a decision.

Week 4:

In part two, the group begrudgingly votes Sarah off, forcing Kendal to question her relationship with Eric because of his ambivalence. (Sarah and Kendal vote for Shane; while Eric, Rachel, Darrell, and Shane vote off Sarah.)

Week 5:

The group is introduced to the new sixth cast member Raquel who hails from Round Rock, TX.

This is all confirmed all up to Week 4. We still need to confirm that the sixth cast member is actually named Raquel. How did all this come to light? None other than MTV.com. This just a minor note. Melissa and Julie had their own little squabbles online over that diversity entry that Julie wrote in her journal. Well, soon after coming home from the Battle in Jamaica, she changed it:

ENTRY PRIOR TO CHANGE:

"Sam intrigues me. I am glad to have a diverse group of friends. I love the way Sam's mind works. He teaches me alot. Tonight we started talking about race and diversity. He comes from such a different background than me, so it is fascinating for me to hear some of the things that come out of his mouth. I remember when talking to Melissa used to fascinate me. I used to think she was so knowledgable about race issues. I kindof realize now that her views were limited somewhat. Sam really opens my eyes to things because he is so real. He isn't trying to be something. He is just being Sam. That's what's so awesome about him."

ENTRY AFTER CHANGE:

Who knows what preempted the change... Was it something that happened in Jamaica? Was it Julie trying to put that squabble with Melissa to rest? Who knows? But, Melissa's entry remains intact.

Anyway, welcome our new poster RWRRB Admin3! We are no longer looking for any new posters at this moment. But we are proud to have him as a new poster, bringing you news every single day.

We recieved an email from someone visiting Jamaica, who saw two Real Worlders at the airport. You already know ONE of them, but here's the email:

"As I was flying home from Jamaica on about July 17th and the plane landed in Miami. David from the Real World LA got off the plane as well. I knew that the Challenge was being filmed in Jamaica and I had seen Julie at the airport as well and got her autograph. I asked David what he was doing there and he said he was done with the challenge. Therefore him and Julie must have been voted off at the same time. I heard that Julie was the first to go on the women's side. So David of RW2 must have been the first on the men's side to go."

So, David from the Los Angeles season was voted off early! However, there is speculation that the Battle is windling down to its final contestants. There is no word on if there is an inner circle, if there will be a small group remaining in the end. No one seems to really know. However, we do know that voting off occurs in GENDERS and not SEASONS as Julie was sent home, and not Melissa.

Also, in Las Vegas news... We got the first semi-picture of cast members. Someone was taking pictures in the Palms nightclub and saw the opportunity to take a shot:



You can see the cameraman at the right. They are filming a male and a female. Interesting but not too revealing. :) This is pretty much the first shot of the Real Worlders at all. Usually, there are an abundance of pictures and their names are already all over the internet. Apparently, that's not what it's like this season. Only speculation on message boards. We'll keep you updated as more becomes available.

Another thing from the Battle of the Sexes filming right down in good ole' Jamaica: Melissa from New Orleans is still going strong... Here's the passage taken from her journal:


"So, I am in Jamaica right now, and I can't say the internet access is 24 hours as I was promised, but let me not start by complaining. Actually, that is precisely where I will start.

Who is in charge of doling out the punishment around these parts? There have been numerous levels of sheer disappointment, socially speaking, anyway, for me.

Let's start with good old Taye Diggs. We're actually in the same area where they filmed How Stella Got Her Groove Back, but I can't relate because I am still trying to get my groove on. I got all cute on my day off thinking I could snag the precious Taye (the heat must be making me delirious with confidence that doesn't quite exist) only to find that he was here to get married. Yeah, thanks for the fun times Taye.

Moving on to Black Jesus. Know that Madonna video Like A Prayer? Remember old dude on the cross crying that one drop of blood as a tear, yeah him. He's here! Yeah, so I am lounging around by the pool (never confessing to the fact that I can't swim), drinking pina colada (singular) and I recognize this person that I swear I know. It wasn't even a celebrity sighting until after I was embarrassed about how I rolled up on him. I went up to him and actually said the words, "Excuse me, sir, with the shorts on, I know you..." He proceeded to tell me that he didn't, and I proceeded to insist that in fact I did. He said he doesn't live in LA, but that he's an actor so perhaps that's how I know him. At that point, I tried to gather any scrap of dignity and started the long and elaborate apologies. We get to talking and he invites me to this huge concert (featuring Ja Rule and Ashanti) and I explain that I am "not allowed" to leave this here compound. I take many poetic licenses with the "not allowed" thing. I do many of those things thinking I am not being filmed, but whatevs.

Anyway, I ended up flaking on the concert because we were filming the dramatic voting off "ceremony" (that's what they call it, it's really not that ceremonious, it's actually somewhat repetitive) until midnight. So, the next day, I was down at the bar again. Don't worry, I am not drinking my face off while being filmed. Learned that lesson long ago. Not that you were worried, though. So, next day at the bar, I see him and of course, I suck because I flaked. He then invited me to a casual dinner (we'll get to the food situation in a second) and to the concert again (it's like a neverending festival of music).

Listen to why I couldn't hang out with him! Let me preface this by saying if any of you ever have the opportunity to eat with Black Jesus, take it any way you can. I regret flaking already! I couldn't hang because I have a rather unfortunate bout of the Traveler's D. Yeah, the kind with the sense of urgency and fire. I told him I was sick. He asked what kind of sick, and being the girl with no game, I actually told him what kind. So that makes me completely undateable and stupid, but like I said, the heat makes me retarded. No, I wasn't sick and drinking at the bar, but the cameras weren't at the bar so that's where I was.

So, the food situation. I have lost weight, and I dread the possibility of being accused of an eating disorder when this airs. Know those swollen-bellied children in Somalia? Yeah, that's about where I am. Registered in at a whopping 92 pounds, and I feel really gross and at about 88 ish. Steady diet of ramen noodles and pb & j because I can't eat the "catering" they've provided because oh, I don't know, there's a rumor there's a virus. But everybody got the D long before I did. Now everybody's healthy and galavanting, while I am sick and sad but hiding both ailments because it's that type of show. But things don't stay hidden for very long when you're under infrared surveillance.

On to the non-complaining. Jamaica is some beautiful stuff. I can't even explain. Just know that every time I get pissed at production, I have to remember that I fell asleep watching the sunset and woke up looking at the ocean listening to steel drums. It rules here. The humidity makes my hair ugly, but it rules here.

I have tried to be on my best behavior and with the exception of a few times where I suffered really ugly and poor anger management, I have managed to really have fun. Surely they'll air every time I had to bitch about something and make me the ambiguously undedicated contestant who complains, but I swear it's mostly about the way shit is handled by production. Some things just boil down to plain unfair. They're great people, but the fairness goes out of the window sometimes.

So the paranoia has set in for sure. Come airing date, I might just find a hole and die. Some of the missions will make me look insane as some of the boys have told me, but whatever, I can't deny that I am scared shitless (I actually wish I was shitless) every mission. I don't really get down with jumping to my death and sinking into a coma, nor do I enjoy sweating profusely. But it's all under wraps. I just stand there, not really understanding the directions or the strategy and pretend that it's the least terrifying shit I have ever heard of. Go team!

But did I say I was having fun? I really am having fun. Interesting how I enjoy the company of the folks here. I have actually had to apologize for any negative judgments I've made about a few folks here so that's really refreshing.
Before I start singing Kumbaya (which is sung ad nauseum around here, along with the Juicy Fruit song which I do co-sign), let me go. Somebody's waiting for the computer and might vote me off because I took too long. Joke. Joke. But is it really?"

That's where the Battle of the Sexes takes place! Much like the Battle of the Seasons local. We have confirmed that through Jamaica's film commission that they will be filming in the Round Hill Hotel & Villas in the St. James/Montego Bay area. If you are currently in the Jamaica area, email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com. We'll give you more information if you need it!

More about the hotel! This is a five-star hotel! BMP has spared no expense this time around. There are 110 rooms and 27 suites on premises. There are three different meeting spaces in the hotel. Plus, the rooms range from $240 to $5,550 a night! There is a fitness center, tennis courts, a pool, and even a golf course. Some other activities the hotel offers are windsurfing, snorkelling, sailing, paddle boats, kayaks, and glass bottom boat rides. (Might be used for some missions!) RWRRB Admin2 reported that they will be doing a mission for Hedonism II in Jamaica which Becky, Julie, and Heather B. went to during the New York season. Hello! Here's some new information that many, many, many of you probably have forgotten...

Long, long ago... back in January, when the Real World: Chicago was filming, it was reported that two cast members opted to leave Chicago and film for Las Vegas. Remember that? Let us fill you in... Apparently, within days of moving into the house, there was a shooting at the Chicago house. A man died in front of the building. Well, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that there was a shooting in front of the Real World house, letting every single person in Chicago know where the house was. Well, soon after that, protesters were surrounding the house telling Real World to leave Chicago. It was a big deal at the time. Apparently, producers gave the cast the choice of leaving the show to do Las Vegas which would begin filming in July. Two original Chicago cast members dropped out. Who were they? Why were they replaced? No one seems to know... Many believe that explains the reason why there was NO casting special for the first time since Boston. And many believe that there will be no casting special this next time. Don't count on BMP airing that tidbit though... Since the departure of Melissa of Miami fame (She left the house shortly before filming ended... but she was kept on the show.) , BMP has been known to keep their mouth shut on casting during the season (ie. Irene (Seattle), Justin (Hawaii), Ruthie (Hawaii)), trying to make the Real World as real as possible. Hopefully, they will satisfy the cravings of some wild fans!

This is a spoiler folks, apparently this weeks episode of the Road Rules: Campus Crawl is the nude one. The one where all the roomies have to sit or stand on a platform I'm assuming in front of people. They are competing for the AE gift certificate.

'Watch for the AE-sponsored Road Rules mission, where all the cast members lose their clothes to pose nude. All the road warriors received a $1,000 AE Gift Card to help them get dressed again.' Quoted from AE.com.

Kendal flashes the crowd at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Eric disagrees with Kendal on her decision to flash the crowd and kissing another girl on Bourbon Street so he says,"I don't want anything else to do with her". Things get a little crazy when an obsessed fan, who has been rejected during the audition process numerous times, kidnaps the cast and brings them to a new house. Here, he films them, using highly sophisticated camera equipment that is wired to explosives, just in case the cast doesn't play along.

Last night's Road Rules episode was a first. People seem to respond greater to the Real World rather than Road Rules, so we only selected one synopsis this week:

"I thought that this Road Rules episode was so cool. The fact that they used the whole college motif to really integrate that into the cast. I thought it was so cool that they brought missions from the past back into the mix! Plus, I loved seeing James again. He seems like a huge dork, but he's seems so cool too! Yeah! I loved it! I think that Sarah should NOT get voted off. I'm so glad Kendal is finally taking a shine to her. :( I hope NO one gets voted off."

In new news, I'm sure you've all seen the promos about the Real World the Lost Season. Just hoping the movie isn't anything like that. Anyway, expect more promos for that as time rolls by. And expect to hear about the Real World: Las Vegas at least by August 6th. We just confirmed that MTV will run some sort of promo for it's 12th season during the Real World movie. No word on when Las Vegas' premiere date will be.

Also, a related note... The movie is entirely scripted. It's really not a lost season...

In Road Rules info, BMP will release a Road Rules: Campus Crawl Soundtrack on August 6th. The compliation will feature music from bands like Jimmy Eat World. More to follow soon! You can order it right now on Amazon.com or CDNOW.com! MTV is now running promos for the CD, so look for that.

First, I'd like to thank RWRRB Admin for letting me post on this great blog, now I bring you the best news, input from cast members, and more. Now, I discovered Darrell's opinion on some of the missions and a bit on being chosen for the season on Road Rules: Campus Crawl:

I thought our missions would be more athletic type things. See me I never watch TV that much so I really never new what ROADRULES was about. Now Darrell really found out what Road Rules was all about and he seems to have enjoyed his time on the show. Apparently, he never really knew what Road Rules was all about, but quickly found out.

Hey everybody! The following news IS spoiler information about the Battle of the Sexes. Read with caution. If you do not want to know anything about the Battle... don't read!

Two participants from the Battle have posted information on their respective websites... Showing us that there have been people voted off. However, one doesn't mention ANYTHING about the Battle, only leading us to ponder his whereabouts.

No word if he was actually voted out, but nevertheless, interesting to know. He's selling a jersey that he wears in tonight's episode. Here's the LINK. He entitles it as "Mission Shit".

Also, one we know who WAS voted off is Julie from the Real World: New Orleans. If you missed that catfight with Julie and Melissa over their websites www.planetjulie.com and www.princessmelissa.com... You missed quite a bit. Julie had written a blurb about how closed off she felt Melissa was in New Orleans. Melissa fiercely responded in her website, saying that she had too much on her for Julie to be talking like that. Melissa also said something about telling Julie on a previous occasion to keep her name out of her mouth. So... there was HUGE speculation about an alliance being formed PRIOR to the Battle to kick Julie off. (Let's see if they kick Julie or Beth S. off first...) However, we do know that Melissa had formed many tight bonds with other cast members such as Amaya, Lori, and so many more... We couldn't say the same for Julie. Julie also revealed more spoilers, such as the winner will get EVERYTHING this time... no splittin'! Plus, they're not competing on season teams in the respect that they won't be voted off at the same time. (Apparently, the voting comes with the girls and the guys doing the voting... No word on any inner circle or things of that nature.) Here's the post:

"Well, the challenge was actually worse than I had imagined. Not that I was there long enough to even get a real feel for it. Before I even walked through the door, I had the odds against me. Between a less than warm greeting and a team of girls prepared to give me anything but the benefit of the doubt and a chance to say hello, I found myself back with Gabe before I could say "ya mon".

But if I had to go home, I was so so thankful to go home early, since the winner of this one takes all. Even though I am an intense competitor, I honestly don't think I could have lasted the whole month without any allies. It's set up that way. And I missed Gabe. We really do have more important things to do at home anyway. Life is about to get really interesting.

It's funny - I was only gone for a work week, but it was so good to get home. I love my life in Huntington so much. I really have zero desire to be anywhere else, or with anyone else. You can take Jamaica, Life is good here."
