and We're back!
First off I was tipped off about this article on Brynn (Thanks to AJ for the link) it's here.
We want to know if you know the Real World: Las Vegas cast member's last names. This is always fun to do. I think we know some. But just send in the one's you know to newrwroad@hotmail.com and then we'll post the final list eventually. Please send in confirmed names. Thanks a lot!
Also, just a quick note from RealityWorldTV.com on Coral and Mike (Thanks!) --- Mike and Coral of 'The Real World: Back To NY' were at Saginaw Valley State University on Thursday updating the crowd on what their lives has been like since the show has ended. Mike is working at a charity organization for terminally ill children, attending wrestling and acting school, and traveling to colleges across the country doing open talks. Coral is also working for charity. Coral founded Zapatos, a charity organization that gives shoes to the homeless, travels with Mike to colleges and is trying to find a job hosting a television show. (Reality World TV is also going to do an interview with Sarah from RR Campus Crawl, so go there and submit your questions.)
On tonight's episode of the Real World: Las Vegas the TVGuide has it saying that this is what's going to go down.:
Irulan flirts with her boss Marc, but becomes uncomfortable with his attention; Arissa is hurt by a “joke” Frank makes, causing Alton to come to her defense.
That's all for now, Check back later for those full names (first and last). We'll credit thosee that send!

Thanks to RealityWorldtv.com for these news stories:
First off, we've got Cara News!, When asked tonight in her weekly chat what the 'Real World Chicago' cast were up to, E!Online's Wanda replied, "Cara has landed her first TV acting gig, on The Drew Carey Show. She plays the daughter of a Ritz Carlton manager played by Paul Benedict in the episode that airs tonight." It's the first I've heard of the appearance, but Wanda said she heard about it straight from Cara's mouth. The Drew Carey Show airs tonight at 8pm on ABC.
Next, news on the Real World:Miami house, An agent at the Miami Beach office of Coldwell Banker has sold 'The Real World Miami' house for $2.2 million. Miami-Dade property records list the home as last sold in 1994 for $800,000 to an individual buyer. This year, the home was assessed at about $1.67 million, up from $974,534 the prior year. Coldwell Banker would not disclose the names of either seller or buyer or the home.

We were right the season finale for Road Rules: Campus Crawl is next Monday at 10/9 CST. Catch it on MTV. Also tommorow, The Real World: Las Vegas at 10/9 CST. Please send us any news, synopsis', etc. to newrwroad@hotmail.com.
Wanda recently had a talk with Real World: Miami's Dan and here's what she uncovered and confirmed:
First there was Rachel and Sean. Then Pam and Judd, Holly and Chadwick, Emily and James, Kendal and Blair. And now, in the long string of Bunim-Murray matchmaking, yet another dynamic duo has arisen from the Real World clan: Lori of The Real World: New York (and the upcoming Battle of the Sexes Challenge) and Kyle of The Real World: Chicago.
A source close to the Chicago cast tells me Lori and Kyle met a few months ago and are "in a very serious, committed relationship--and sickeningly adorable together." Although Lori still lives on the East Coast and Kyle is in Hollywood working on his screen career, they frequently fly back and forth to visit each another, and Lori is considering a move to La-La Land. And by the way, word is that the recently paired Road Rules couples--Kendal and Blair, Emily and James--are still going strong.
So why do these cast members keep dipping their pens in the Bunim-Murray ink? Dan from The Real World: Miami, who just finished the Battle of the Sexes Challenge along with Lori, shed a little light. "If you're on the Real World," he explains, "it's a given that you're crazy and if you can find your crazy brethren, it makes this world a happier place for you. If you're having a tantrum and they understand and even encourage you, that's a beautiful thing."
He also explained how it is that cast members keep hooking up after their shows end (much to the producers' chagrin, natch). "Real Worlders are incestuous. You don't even know. The newer cast members still live with each other. And you go to their apartments, and they still have drama about who'll do the dishes. They talk in soundbites--short, quippy, one-liners. You're looking around like: Is there a camera crew around here? The drama and the hookups do not end."
And that is a beautiful thing.

Well we've uncovered some information on the Real World: Las Vegas control room, off of the Tubescan.com Boards, we'd like to thank latinosupafly19 for the information the boards..... And....here it is:
Meanwhile, back in the Batcave -- as the show's staff members have dubbed their darkened 28th-floor control room. (Rm. 28102) four large and 25 small TV monitors record the action (or inaction) throughout the "Real World" penthouse, from the office to the kitchen, the pool table to the living room.
Wipe-clean boards posted in the control room list each cast member's whereabouts, along with upcoming schedules, needed background shots and planned excursions. (During their 4 1/2-month stay, various "Real World" cast members ventured to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Hoover Dam and Los Angeles, among other destinations.)
Isn't this a very interesting summary of the control room, I think it is. It's cool to know that the cast will venture off to the Hoover Dam. That's all for now, e-mail us with news, newrwroad@hotmail.com. We'd also like to address a problem that may have occured lately. I read a thread on the Tubescan.com boards and it was talking about how we steal posts from them, we don't really steal them and act they are ours. Also, If you send information or news to us, we do get it confirmed before posting it on the blog. So all you people that send fake news or information it will probably not get posted. There are some really loyal fans of this site, that love the information and news we provide and there are times that we will report something false, but we are human too, we do make mistakes. We try our hardest to get stuff confirmed before posting it, and most times do. So we would like to acknowledge those that send in NEWS to us. We regret the confusion that this may have caused on the boards and at the blog. Sorry.

BREAKING NEWS:
Frank (the guy that has been to so many college's) has an arrest record, we've got the news from The Smoking Gun:
Here's hoping that Frank Roessler, a cast member on MTV's "Real World" series,
treated his swanky Las Vegas crib with more respect than he showed a couple of
Pennsylvania residences. The 22-year-old man was convicted last year of criminal
mischief for vandalizing two fraternity houses at Bucknell University, where
Roessler was a student. According to the amusing criminal complaint, Roessler
and codefendant Charles Reiter broke into two frat houses and caused a variety
of damage, including broken toilets, a smashed door, and a broken window. At the
Sigma Alpha Epsilon house, Roessler and Reiter left behind a calling card, of
sorts: "two fresh piles of feces." Charged in a five-count criminal information,
Roessler pleaded guilty to criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. He was sentenced
last June to two years probation, fined $1000, and ordered to pay Bucknell $1000
restitution. When we asked MTV spokeswoman Allison Bennett if any current "Real
World" cast members had criminal records, Bennett initially said she was
"unaware" of any such legal scrapes. However, after TSG provided details of
Roessler's rap sheet, Bennett suddenly recalled hearing about the bust, saying
it "wasn't like he committed a robbery or raped someone. It was a frat prank. He
is not a dangerous person." Roessler--on probation at the time--spent four
months living with six roommates in the palatial "Real World" penthouse atop
Vegas's Palms Hotel.
Thanks to the Smoking Gun for uncovering that dirty little secret!

Well, if you are looking to be cast in The Real World 13: Paris or Road Rules: South Seas Adventure, then you have until October 7, 2002 to turn in your tapes to BMP. (If you need casting tips, look at the left side of the page.) BMP finally changed their site to the correct date and they even changed their address to:

Van Nuys, CA 91411
If you think you'd be better at open calls, visit BMP's site for a list of open calls.

Bunim-Murray has thrown another curveball this time. After most of the internet sites had reported that The Real World's 13th season would be filmed in Atlanta, a frontrunner for many years, BMP drops a literal bomb. They announce that The Real World will be filmed in Paris. Only the second season to be filmed overseas, BMP decides to pick a "romantic" location. Many believed that BMP would go overseas soon, as an overseas season was long overdue, however, the frontrunner for an overseas season was supposed to be Sydney. Rumors? Well, they also confirmed that Road Rules will be filmed in the South Seas. Send in those tapes!

I've thought about this for a while now....I've come up with a little something for you all to do...send you're cast ratings of the Real World: Las Vegas cast. Like list all the cast: Trishelle, Brynn, Irulan, Arissa, Alton, Steven, and Frank. Then by there names list the score 1-10 and add one sentence as to why you gave them that rating. Send them to us at newrwroad@hotmail.com. This is what we like to call Rate the Real Worlder. I'll post some of your opinions. The very good ones. Here are mine:
Trishelle (5) - Damn that was mean what you did to Frank....in his face..
Brynn (8) - You are way to quite.
Irulan (9.5) - You are HOT!
Arissa (10) - Another hot one.
Alton (8) - Ya that's you, holla at them hot girls in the house.
Steven (2) - That was wrong, but it's all you....You lied....but damn you aint had to play Frank on the first day...that was wrong.
Frank (0.5) - You are a complete idiot....what the hell is wrong with you? You just let crap like that slide? And walk out the door....oh no...there's no way...Do something about that..:-)
SEND in those ratings!

Being hailed as one of the most innovative, dramatic seasons of all the twelve, the producers of the long time running show, The Real World promise that their Las Vegas installment would be one of the best. Now that the first episode has aired, there has been mixed reaction to Trishelle, Brynn, Irulan, Arissa, Alton, Steven and Frank and the circus called the Real World.
Personally, I thought that the episode was a little too much too soon. We accurately reported most of the dramatics of the first episode about two weeks ago (That's for all you haters at the message boards.) And we did see the love triangle... (Love square, rather) of Steven, Trishelle, Frank and Brynn. Most people who are new to the show emailed in saying that the first episode absoultely disgusted them. They were appalled by the season's tackiness and fake reactions of the castmembers. However, long standing fans of the series have applauded the first episode, saying that it has all the dramatics of a classic Real World season. More than likely, production decided to jump into a huge issue far too soon. That should've been a third episode topic... not a first episode topic. However, Las Vegas is promising a lot more than this love square, so they probably had to fit that into the first episode. What do you think? Email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com.
Have you seen the new issue of TV Guide? Well, there is an article detailing the behind the scenes drama that went on when the castmembers first moved into the house. Apparently, within minutes of meeting each other Steven had his hands on Trishelle's leg, maybe foreshadowing impending moments to come. They also had trouble with the elevator. (They have to push in a secret code.) There's also an incident where on their way to Ghostbar, the cast takes the emergency stairs only to be led to a dead end. On their way back to the elevator, they lock two cameras in the stairwell. It also has a short profile of each castmember. Frank says that he's pretty embarrassed about the first episode, leading us to believe that this will blow over. Brynn rates the Real World experience with a 5, saying that she would never do it again. It's a pretty interesting article.
Wanda over at Eonline had her chat on Monday. Just to keep those who want to know informed, she only reported on Cara's appearance on Jenny Jones. She also talked about Lori and Kyle dating... Which we both reported to you several days ago.
Also, we are unfortunately behind on the site with all the new things. It's a lot of work, but thanks for waiting!

Sorry for no updates yesterday... No real news to report yesterday.
If you remember the San Francisco house was ravaged by a fire a few years back and was restored to its original glory. Prior to the fire, the house hosted an internet company. Anyway, the owner put the house on the market 9 months ago and it has failed to sell. It's price has dropped to a measly 1.2 million dollars. So, if you have the spare change...
Also, The Road Rules Blog, that site where the Road Rulers posted is down now. SO... Sarah started her own online journal at Diaryland! Enjoy!
IT PREMIERES TOMORROW!

She says it was half from the media and half personal issues. She did see a therapist. She also mentioned the problem started when she w around 15. She also continued on how we need to stop comparing ourselves to media figures and whatnot.

and....... happy belated (September 11th) 21st birthday to MTV Real World Alumni, Aneesa from Real World Chicago...we watched that unfold and many talked about how staged that event was on that season....and it was cause the cast was at a photo shoot at Wrigley Field in Chicago home of the Cubs, that morning. They were then sent to the loft to watch the little TV....and then you know what they did...

You're young, hip and beautiful.
Las Vegas is your playground.
And MTV is there to record your every step.
Welcome to "The Real World," where a group of seven twentysomethings all strangers was selected to live in a customized suite on the 28th floor of the Palms for 4 1/2 months.
Sound real?
Wait 'til you see the cast of "Real World Las Vegas," which makes its debut with a one-hour premiere Sept. 17 on MTV (Cox cable channel 19) airs from 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesdays for the remainder of the season.
The seven cast members are all picture-perfect. Or, as the MTV bios variously describe: "strikingly handsome," "stunning" and "the very picture of all-American charisma and good looks."
"I have to admit we are very fortunate. We have an exceptional-looking cast this season," said series producer Tracy Chaplin, who has been with "The Real World" for seven of its 12 seasons.
"And a lot of it just boils down to the people who apply to the show. They're usually highly motivated," Chaplin said. "They're very active. They are certainly conscious of their appearance. Those are the people who tend to make great cast members."
For those out of the pop-culture loop, "The Real World" was arguably the Adam and Eve of today's reality TV programming when it debuted in 1992.
The original setting was New York, followed by Los Angeles and then San Francisco. Other "Real World" locales have been New Orleans, Chicago, Hawaii, Boston, Seattle and London. The premise is always the same: Take several young adults ages 18 to 24 from different races, places, and social and economic backgrounds, and stick them in a house (or a reasonable facsimile) together for a few months.
And record nearly every moment.
Previous shows have made minor celebrities out of cast members Puck, anyone? as young people nationwide tune in to the real-life soap opera.
And from the way the season is set up after the Las Vegas cast's initial episode, it appears this group will not shortchange viewers on drama, either.
As soon as cast members meet in their "home," there seems to be the kind of chemistry both friendly and sexual that best fuels reality-based TV.
For example, it isn't long before there is an unexpected "hook-up" between roommates, complicated by hurt feelings by two other roommates who feel slighted by the randy couple.
The Las Vegas group includes four women and three men, all of whom were interviewed for this story in June, just as the series had wrapped taping and the cast was a few days from going back to their real lives. (Their last names, incidentally, were not provided.)
Brynn is a "party animal," as she described herself to a bellman when she first made her way through the casino floor of the Palms.
"My friends and I used to make bets on who could be on the show or who could be a VJ. Everyone was always like, 'You'd be so perfect for the show.' And in the back of my head, I thought, 'Oh, I so want to do that.' And I ended up here."
Arissa, too, is about fun, but remains practical and concerned about her finances. She senses a deep bond with fellow cast member Irulan.
"(The cast) went to a lot of different places and met a lot of different people, and we've experienced a lot of different things," Arissa said. "I probably never would have had the opportunity to, had I not been here. Just walking into this front door is the coolest thing that happened."
Irulan initially seems to be the quiet one of the bunch. She also reaches out to Arissa for friendship, and the two wind up sharing a room.
"I don't have any regrets, but I don't think I'd do this same thing all over again," Irulan said. "I think I've taken a lot away from it, but I'm ready to get back to my normal life."
Trishelle is from a small town in Louisiana and is worried her roommates will assume she lacks intelligence because of her background and accent.
"You make what you want of (the show). If you try to hide from (the cameras), they'll be right up on you," she said. "You just have to realize and keep reminding yourself that you chose to do the show."
Steven is the "all-American" to whom MTV was referring. He's funny in a goofy way, and a perennial flirt and women seem to respond -- including at least two roommates.
"We're bound to each other for life. We shared this crazy experience. They're like brothers and sisters. You don't pick your brothers and sisters. There are things you don't like about them, there are things you love about them. But, at the end of the day, you're all close."
Alton is a violinist and in-line skater who also enjoys rock climbing. He comes across as the peacemaker of the group -- but also seems the most likely to push buttons.
"We're just here trying to live our lives. We're not trying to have someone live vicariously through us."
Frank is the kind of son parents may wish they had: smart, athletic, ultra polite. Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, he is also, perhaps, the castmember most out of his element.
"I hope nobody lives vicariously through me because that would be sad. These guys, maybe."
Making it real
To accommodate the cast and crew, six Palms hotel rooms were combined into one massive suite featuring three bedrooms, a communal shower with separate stalls, a bathroom and wash area, a kitchen and dining area, living area and game area.
And, of course, there is "the confessional": the isolated small room with the fixed camera where castmembers can record their thoughts in secret ... at least, until the series airs and the confessions are put to strong dramatic use.
Construction on the room began shortly after the Palms opened in November and took seven weeks to complete. Included in the project was construction of a central room to direct the various camera crews.
Building the show's room was easy, however, compared to shooting the series in Las Vegas -- particularly on the Strip.
"We had about half the casinos on the Strip willing to work with us in an open-door policy," Chaplin said. "And then we had another percentage that, with 24 hours' notice or with an escort, would allow us to come in.
"And then there were some properties that chose not to (participate). And that's no different than any other city. There are always venues that aren't comfortable."
Taping in Las Vegas also limited the choices in cast members. Because of gaming restrictions, Chaplin said the cast selections had to be at least 21 so they could live in the casino.
"So we're losing half our casting potential," he said.
Despite the obstacles, Chaplin said Las Vegas was always very high on the list as a "Real World" setting.
"The show is getting up there in seasons. There are only so many major cities interesting to our market," she said. "In doing market studies and while we were out on the road casting ... overwhelmingly Las Vegas would come up. Not just sporadically; it was an overwhelming consensus from city to city.
"There's just become a fascination with young adults in coming here. It's an adult playground. Young adults get out and they want to have a wild and carefree weekend. And Vegas is a place to do that."
As to what to expect this season, the cast and crew were understandably mum. Reasoning that a studio would never reveal the ending of a film, MTV brass wants the show's twists and turns to remain a surprise.
And, according to the castmembers, the season will have plenty of surprises.
"There's no way to know what's going to happen," Alton promises. "It's going to be a really interesting season with a lot of twists."
No matter what transpired during the taping, though, all seven "Real World" castmembers acknowledge they are parting on friendly terms -- unlike some of the previous groups.
And, none of them have any regrets.
"I don't think there's anything really wrong with what we did," Trishelle said. "We were just having a good time. I just think we did what normal 22- or 23-year-olds would do coming to Vegas and living with six good-looking people and having a good time."

LAS VEGAS -- "My house in Cutoff is, like, a country house," says the all-smiles Trichelle, a 22-year-old from an aptly named rural Louisiana town, soon after the opening credits of the season premiere episode of MTV's The Real World. The cameras-in-the-house show that helped unleash a flood of so-called reality programming begins its 12th season on Sept. 17, set this time in the new youth-oriented Palms Casino Resort just off the Las Vegas strip.
"This," drawls Trichelle, who -- like all cast members -- uses only her first name, "is a city house."
To call the show's setting a house is a stretch. A three-bedroom, full-service, high-roller hotel suite is more like it. Real World's trademark device is to see what kind of intimacy results when you make roommates of seven photogenic 20-somethings who first meet in their quasi-dormitory living situation.
As Real World moved to the very unreal world of Vegas, the producers left behind the Ikea-style decor of their lofts and houses of past seasons. This time, the cast lives in souped-up modern style on the 28th floor of a casino resort, with incredible views and a relentless 24-hour scene just below.
Part of the voyeuristic appeal of Real World relies on the cast living fully exposed lives. And for it to work, the backdrop that is their home is key.
Walk into the Real World suite today, and it looks pretty much as it did when the cast lived there from mid-February until late June of this year. Palms owner George Maloof has taken care to preserve what the casino and MTV created together, and he is marketing the space to his top customers, personally deciding who can stay there -- "high-rollers, celebrities and sports people" being his first choice, he says.
Maloof says the project cost him $2 million. He paid to configure the rooms and decorate the space, and MTV, which won't say how much it spent on the apartment, added some of the fine touches, including artworks and other details.
Maloof used as designers the Los Angeles-based Jerde Partnership, which had designed the rest of the Palms resort-casino, because he wanted to give the apartment the same signature look. The 2,900-square-foot suite was created by demolishing six hotel rooms, and the entire floor had to remain empty for seven months to accommodate the setup, including 4 1/2 months of taping. Four rooms surrounding the suite were used for production. It was a small price to pay, Maloof says, for the exposure that the show will afford his $265 million Palms enterprise.
There's a definite "wow" effect to Jerde's interior design, created by Sharmila Tankha in partnership with Maloof and Tracy Chaplin, the show's executive producer. The circular suite has three very small bedrooms on one side, two with two queen beds, and a third with three. Quirks abound throughout: The kitchen doesn't have a sink, although the bar has two.
Three washbasins in a tightly fitting row stand out in the open hallway, just outside the bedrooms, and they all have small mirrors. A hot tub gets nearly as much space as the living room.
"The show is about voyeurism," Chaplin says, "and we needed to create unique living spaces for the cast." The sight-lines, he says, drive the flow of the design. In the shower, for example, you can see through windows into the living room and the bath, inviting inclusion -- and a bit of intrusion.

Wanda from E-online did her weekly chat.
She comments that Brynn is there until the Road Rulers come into town. It's unclear whether she leaves. Also, she says that Angel (Alton?) leaves the show. (A new castmember?) Maybe Wanda doesn't have her information straight.
And finally... Wanda says that she won't reveal the winner of the Battle of the Sexes because MTV may have a sweepstakes coming out. That particular question is not with the other RW/RR questions in the group and is at the end of the chat. She says aloha at the end of the answer... ((Highlight to Read)"Aloha" as in Hawaii... Like we reported earlier... Colin wins the Battle)
That's all folks!

Just for your information... Syrus (Boston), Julie (New Orleans), and Puck (San Francisco) will all be appearing on MTVs Becoming. Remember Becoming? The show that is now that horrid piece of crap hosted by Christina Milian? It's going back to its old format this season. Watch for it on the 10 Spot. Also, Julie has her own band now. Go to her site for more info on that.
Speaking of website, Lori (Back to New York) and her journal is becoming a good visit. You can read about her VMA romp with her fellow RW/RR castmates. Those there included Campus Crawl, Veronica (Semester At Sea), Scott Wolfe, Kelley (New Orleans), Kyle (Chicago). It's quite funny. Read about it at everythinglori.com!

About the Admin2's last post on Road Rules being in Africa next year... Road Rules 11 was originally supposed to happen in the Phillipines. However, after September 11th, Bunim-Murray Productions decided not to go overseas to film Road Rules and stayed in the US with the Campus Crawl. That post about Road Rules being in Africa was on the MTV.com boards. With the security esclations after September 11th and the difficulty of getting permits to film overseas now and the danger involved to actually go to these countries, we don't know if BMP really plans to go to Africa and its countries. Most likely, it's not true. But it would be a great season if it was.

The girls are extrememly hot, and I think there will be another in house relationship, so send in your comments on the cast to Nick198614@msn.com, we will post some of the interesting comments. That's all for now.

Hey, thanks to all off you who emailed us about the Kyle/Lori relationship. Apparently, they've only begun dating recently and it is true. Lori was dating a professional surfer by the name of David Martin. The two broke up several months ago, and now Lori seems to be dating Kyle.
Lori recently wrote in her journal about her trip to the VMAs and the girl who won a date with Kyle. Lori affectionately refers to the girl who won as "Psycho Bi***", and she speaks of it in detail. You can see her journal at everythinglori.com. The girl's name is Kristin and the contest was held by Steve Madden. You can see pictures from the date, Kyle with "Laurie" at Steve Madden's Website. (Her hand is all up in his shirt in that picture!)
Also, more Kyle news! Remember how Wanda told us about Kyle's appearance in the independent film. Well, it's a film about the 80s called Sherrie. Ariescope Pictures produced the film. To see pictures (including one of a shot of Kyle's bum). He plays the lead character of Craig. You can check out the Ariescope website for more pictures and information. ut you can check out these links to pictures: (BTW, the butt picture matches with the other picture of Kyle in the gown.)

And Wanda mentions in her article at eonline.com that Dan (Miami) who appeared on Battle of the Sexes really did like Puck, adding that Puck only did his hijinks for the cameras... Who didn't know that?

I apologize for not updating yesterday... New stuff today!
The RWXII Preview aired yesterday, showing the first inklings of Las Vegas. These previews tend to skimp, A LOT, so expect to see a lot more. Everything that we mentioned about the first episodes, was shown during the RWXII Preview. The Frank/Trishelle/Steve/Brynn crossfire. The hot tubs. The wedding books. Anyway, expect a lot more! We should be getting screen caps of the episodes soon. (I missed the first sin... as I was watching Kelly win American Idol.)
And we hear that Lori (Back to New York) and Kyle (Chicago) are dating? Can anyone confirm that? I've heard that since way back when, but is it true?
Plus, expect the book, the video, and a lot more of money making merchandise to come out of Las Vegas... They're already listed on amazon.com. That's all for today.

Minor note... TVguide, who usually publishes a blurb about upcoming episodes of Real World, recently put up their listing for Episodes 1201/1202. It doesn't have a description, as I'm sure MTV wants to keep a lid on this one, but they do confirm that the first episode (as always) will be a hour long. MTV.com's onair schedule is the same as well. More later if more listings pop up.
The RWXII Preview is tomorrow!

As we reported yesterday, this article in Entertainment Weekly briefly mentions the appearance of Aneesa and Kyle as "seat-fillers". An interesting tidbit. (A lot of people seemed to miss Lori as she just cut and dyed her hair. She mentions that and her trip to the VMAs in her website.
Plus, for those emails we've been getting negative feedback from the way the VMAs looked and the supposed similarity that it will have in Las Vegas, with the new camera equipment... Here's the link to our source: Las Vegas Sun It does say it is a rumor, so hopefully, all your hopes won't be totally crushed.
We also found this small article about Jean Nedel who is training the seven strangers. It looks like they are working at Rain in the Desert, a club at the Palms. Here's the blurb. It's at the end of the article. It says that their principal job is to put on promotion parties. Also, they reportedly worked on teambuilding, leadership skills, etc., with a professional. Also, we hear that the Palms is the place to go if you're hip. We heard the plethora of movie stars that went to the Palms when Real World was there. Add none other than Mario Lopez and Marlon Wayons, who were spotted along with the RWers by a hotel patron (not together) on the same night.
As always, more later!

We finally got this sorted out! Kyle, Lori and Aneesa are in the first picture. The second and third pictures are the Real World Las Vegas. The second picture is of the girls. However, the second picture doesn't look like Irulan, Arissa, Brynn and Trishelle. Does someone get kicked out? We'll see. It might be them. However, in the third picture, the guys from left to right, are Steve, Frank and Alton. Hope that helps. You can see the images at wireimage.com. They only show them in thumbnailed form as a free service.

So what should you expect with the Real World: Las Vegas? Are you eagerly awaiting the first episode of the season? Well, this Wednesday, MTV is airing the RWXII Preview, which will most likely be a casting special of some sorts. They will introduce Alton, Arissa, Brynn, Frank, Irulan, Steve, and Trishelle through interviews most likely. They'll show you a bit of the house as well.
So want to know what happens in the first few episodes? You've come to the right place. We have recieved exclusive information about the first few episodes. This is spoiler information: From what we hear this season is going to be an amazing season, a throwback to Hawaii days. In the first few episodes, there is a love triangle of sorts (Well, it's more like a square.) Frank, the golden boy from PA, immediately falls in love with Trishelle, the bombshell from down south. However, Trishelle doesn't like Frank, and falls for Steven, the other southern boy. However, Brynn, the one from Oregon, has a thing for Steven too, and swears that she and Steve will hook up... So, when Steven and Trishelle hook up on their second night in Vegas, (Did I mention it was in front of Frank?) all hell breaks loose with one cast member. You'll see a little bit of Steven's past, when he breaks out wedding books, showing the roommates his wedding. (However, upon coming to Vegas, he is in the middle of divorce proceedings.) And what's the premiere of a season without a little nudity? Expect the hot tub to be nudity central, as the kids get naked in the hot tub. (Well, the girls get naked and there is a little touching... The guys wear their bathing suits.)
Sound exciting? It should. The Real World: Las Vegas premieres Tuesday, September 17th on MTV. Now for more Battle of the Sexes news. A little old and a little tired. But remember when Julie posted in her journal a week after she left for Jamaica? Well, it apparently does stem from that arguement that Melissa and Julie had on their respective websites. (NOTE: Julie made a comment on her journal about how she felt that Melissa was close minded about ethnic/racial issues in New Orleans. Melissa proceeded to get angry and told her to cool it, telling her that she had way too much on her and how she had told her before, to keep her name out of her mouth.) However, it extends further from that. Whatever had pissed off Melissa that one time, pissed off all of the girls. It was only referred to something that Julie had pulled regarding business outside the show. Therefore, a huge alliance was formed ad she is voted out around the third day. She knew that she was going up against the opposition and when she is voted out she gives a speech about how no one likes her and adds some references to her Mormonism in there too.
Also, on Discovery Health last night, Cara (Chicago), Coral (Back to New York) and Becky (New York) all appeared on Berman & Berman: For Women Only. They talked about how women were portrayed on the media. Cara said she was humilated with how she turned out on the show, when she was outed as the house slut. Coral said she was the house bitch. And Becky, because of the fact that the season was filmed in 1992, wasn't really portrayed in any extreme light. Try to catch a rerun...
That's all everyone! Have a great day!

For those of you who were wondering what happened to Cara on Mancow in the Morning in Chicago... Here's what a viewer said:
"Well, her stint on Mancow was short-lived. Yesterday was Cara's last day on the show and the crew @ Q101 couldn't be happier. On the show, one of the girls has been considering leaving to go to another radio station and some thought it'd be a good idea to have Cara fill in her shoes after she is gone. Turns out Mancow
didn't really end up liking Cara. A listener called in this morning and complained that they didn't like Cara and wanted the other girl back. Mancow replied: "You and me both! Right now Cathy [the girl who is planning to leave] looks even better than before. What the audience missed out on was the huge argument we had during a commercial break. She said, ' I'm a f****** TV star you a******, my show was watched by 4 million people while not even a million listen to this crap on the radio.'" While Cara left on a high note, saying she'd be back next week to report on the VMAs, that return is very unlikely."
And I thought Cara didn't like the fact that Real World made her a TV star...

All of the info about the former cast members appearing at the VMAs is FALSE. The only ones to show up were Aneesa and Kyle from the Chicago season. Sorry about that. (That info was in a message board post that turned out to be false -- RW/RR personalities aren't red carpet material anyway...) Did you see the type of new cameras they are using in the VMAs? Apparently, it is a rumor that the Real World: Las Vegas updated to those types of snazzy cameras. (Think the Lost Season.) So we'll supposedly see that movie-type look in Vegas.
Also, someone spotted Tami (Los Angeles) on that show Extreme Dating hosted by Good Day Live's Jillian Barberie. Do you remember she was on Studs during her show? For those of you wondering about her maritial status... She DID get divorced from basketball star Kenny Anderson. She has two kids with him. Also, someone emailed me before about Blair (The Quest) showing up on MTVs Taildaters as a taildater for his friend. Seems like alumni are trying to extend those 15 minutes of fame..
That's it! Have a good day.

MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show is on now, and later on tonight some Real World dignitaries are expected to attend. Some include Aaron (RW2), Dominic (RW2), Irene (RW7), Matt (RW8), also possibly the Las Vegas cast will make a cameo, the whole Road Rules bunch will also be appearing on the red carpet. So watch the damn thing! Tonight starting at 7 CST/8 EST/PST.
Edit: 7:48 PM
What's wrong with MTV's film, it's all slowed down and stuff. It's like a movie or something. Comment on it & send it to me at Nick198614@msn.com. Also there they go again with artists promoting Real World: Las Vegas. Foxxy Brown is running in promos for the Las Vegas season. One just played. Comment on that too. I'll post some of your responses.

So, here is the introduction of the seven strangers from MTV.com:
Alton: 22, San Diego, CA - an outdoorsy type of guy. Formely a "Navy Brat".
Arissa: 22, Boston, MA - Independent, vivacious, with a heart of gold.
Brynn: 21, Portland, OR - A small time girl with a big time attitude.
Frank: 22, Lewisberg, PA - Friendly, outgoing and easily makes friends.
Irulan: 21, The Bronx, NY - Strong, beautiful, and willing to take up a fight.
Steve: 23, San Marcus, TX - Independent and recently divorced.
Trishelle: 22, Cutloff, LA - Grew up in a conserative household. Now liberal.
Well, seems like all the rumors are true. What we reported on about Steve and him working at Boyzcellar, the bar that Shane from Road Rules stripped at, is all in his MTV.com bio. If you also look on the season preview, you will see that Steve says that he's not ready to become a father. There's is also a lot of flirtation between Steve and Trishelle. Supposedly, Trishelle is the one who might be preganant. (But don't forget the Eric/Trishelle hookup later. -- We hear that Steve tells Eric not to go there when Road Rules visits.) Also, we see them get in trouble at work. PLUS, the fork stabbing incident between Brynn and Frank. Brynn might be thrown out. WOW! A great season.
And in Battle news, we recieved yesterday's information from someone who knows several castmembers. So, it is accurate.
Thanks and thats it!

I am so sorry for neglecting the blog. I need to start posting more often. So I will start doing it more often. I have some news on Cara's words about the new Las Vegas cast:
Yesterday, Cara was on Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a morning radio show in Chicago hosted by Mancow. She talked about how the Palms is such a beautiful casino and that it is real different scene and mood. She also talked about how people treated the RWers there like celebs since they took up two floors there. Anyway, when asked if she felt jipped on not being on a Las Vegas location instead of Chicago, she said, "No way, I would have had enough of Las Vegas with just one weekend." Gotta love Cara for liking Chicago! She'll be on for the rest of the week as a co-host. You can catch the Morning Madhouse in Chicago on Q 101 from 5:30 AM to 10 AM CST. Visit the following sites for more information: http://www.q101.com and http://www.mancow.com.
And remember if you have news, please send it to me at Nick198614@msn.com, thanks!

Sorry, we did not post yesterday. My computer was acting up and I had to shoot it...
Ruthie who does make an appearance on Battle of the Sexes confirmed a few things for us. She said that from her season Colin and Amaya did both take part. However, she did say that Amaya did end up leaving. (She made no such comment about the other cast members.) She also did say that Theo, Aneesa, and Tonya from Chicago were in attendance as well. Rumored to be in the final inner circles are: Aneesa, Lori, Melissa, Ruthie, Christina, Anne and Shane, Theo, Syrus, and Blair. Maybe Colin can join the guys in this group? Also, Wanda from eonline mentioned that the winner did not surprise her... The winner was a guy, but which one was it? She also said the Battle would air in January 2003.
Also, we recieved news from a Chicago native that Cara will be co-hosting on Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a morning radio show in Chicago on the radio station Q101. She finally found work!
That's it! Also, look for Las Vegas to show up on your TV screens soon. TVguide listed the episode on September 4th at 10:30pm. Have a good night.

That's it! Also, look for Las Vegas to show up on your TV screens soon. TVguide listed the episode on September 4th at 10:30pm. Have a good night.

Since yesterday's post we've been recieving a lot of conflicting reports about Arissa and other cast members. Apparently there are so many RUMORS about the Las Vegas cast. We've been hearing an attempted fork stabbing, which would lead to someone being booted, a relationship, whoring around, drug addiction, pregnancy scare, suicidal tendencies... And we've gotten names to most of these incidents... How do you make sense of all of it? Well, most likely and probably, these incidents are FAKE, we'll just have to wait and see.
Something that we can confirm is that someone saw the Real Worlders WAAYYY in the beginning of their stay in March. They saw the cast, cameras in tow, shopping in nearby Jean, Nevada, home of some pretty good outlet stores.
Also, someone reported to us that they saw a promo for The Real World: Las Vegas. I'm sure you won't see a lot of them until after the Video Music Awards are over, but you'll begin seeing snippets here and there as they will officially reveal the cast members names on the fourth.

We just recieved news from a very reliable source. Apparently, only six of the seven were seen during their stay at the Palms Hotel/Casino. According to someone who works at Skin, the swimming venue the Real Worlders worked at, only six were seen around May. Apparently, Arissa wasn't seen too often. We reported that Arissa was seen at gambling addiction meetings in May. Apparently, she had attended the meetings for five weeks. However, near the end of their stay, Arissa wasn't seen often with the Real Worlders.
What does this mean? Was she eventually kicked out? Maybe not. If all this is actually true, Arissa probably had to stop working at Skin because of the casino/slot machines/tables are right there. Looks to be a good season.
Plus, we just updated the quotes and moments on the left side of the page!

Hola. Hope that you've had an awesome summer now that September is rolling around. A good piece of news today:
We have a sighting from the Las Vegas cast. Seems real:
"This was at the begining of June, before the cast left "The Palms". It was a Friday night so there were tons of young twenty somethings in line to get into "Rain in the Desert" which I had heard was a frequent hang out party spot of the new 7 strangers. I noticed though that there were a set of glass doors to the right of the main entrance to "Rain" that people were coming in and out of, so I gave it a shot. I walked in and there were two big security gaurds with the word SECURTIY across the back of their shirts, I knew these were hired by MTV
and Bunim/Murray Productions because they didnt have on the regular Palms employee jackets. I walked passed them, slipping the larger dude a twenty. It was a pool area right near "Rain" so I am guessing I was in "Skin", I am not sure. But sure enough, I looked over to the right and there were about 2 camera crews all filming the REAL WORLD cast. Wow, I couldnt believe it. I walked over and the cast was standing behind a cart like counter serving some water and soda and stuff. I hear a short little black/mixed girl say "Steve, do you know where Callie is?". It caught my attention because I too am named Steve. A few seconds later, I was at the front counter ordering a Sierra Myst from Steve, the Real World castmember. There was a camera behind me, focusing on RW12 Steve and another filming crowd shots on the other side of the area. As I left the
counter, my mission complete, I was tracked down by a producer with a clip board asking me to sign the waiver. I read it, and asked what they were filming, just to annoy the producer a bit. "A commercial for the "Palms" was all she said, I smiled, noticing the BUNIM/MURRAY logo at the top, and I signed it. "Tell John
and Mary-Ellis, 'good job'" and then i left."
Also, we got news, may be real or fake, you decide: Apparently, in all of this season's craziness, one of the cast members become overwhelmed. (Remember the Ruthie days?) We've been hearing rumors, rumors, rumors... Anyway, with a casino right next to their pad, it is reported that someone develops a gambling problem. Sometime in May, Arissa was supposedly spotted going to gambling addiction meetings. She was required to go in order to stay in the house. Hopefully, this pans out to be true.
Also, someone emailed the final remaining colleges that Road Rules visits.. This next episode will be The University of Texas, at El Paso followed by New Mexico State.
That's it! Have a good Saturday!

We got an interesting email lately. It's from someone who spotted one of the cast members back in March:
"I saw one of the cast members in the Palms. My friend works in the Rio, and we went to the Palms to get some ice cream. Anyway, we passed the bar and we saw this guy at the bar surrounded by a whole bunch of cameras. He had black hair, so I'm assuming it was Steve. He was hitting on this girl. It was really bad. Plus, we went to the pool for a glimpse and we saw a blonde haired girl. We just saw her walking around. She was also surrounded by cameras."
Anymore glimpses? Email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com! We also have learned that the house has four bedrooms this time around. So, most likely, it has three doubles and a single. Real World Houses traditionally only have THREE bedrooms. Plus, we're looking into that RW12 Preview thing. Word is that it airs on the 4th and not the third. Stay tuned!

The RW12 Preview will air on September 3rd at 9:00 CST/10:00 PST. MTV.com's on-air schedule isn't correct. Just for you guys who wanted to know.
Also, as the date for the new component to the website comes, we will be sharing screen captures and new features to the site. Things are looking absoultely great! We will include a message board for all of you that have been asking!
And finally, we know that all of you have been hearing about the Real World/Road Rules hookup in Vegas. We'll we have info on tension between two cast members. As you already know, they wrestle and basically hook-up in their pad. Well, we got news that there is supposedly some tension between Steve and Eric. Not really clear why, but probably because of something about the hookups in the house. Also, remember that Wanda confirmed some hookups: Alton and Kendal, Brynn and Rachel, and Trishelle and Eric. So that leaves these possible hookups: FrankorSteve and Raquel, and IrulanorArissa and Darrell, as Wanda reported that Shane didn't hookup.
And, despite some false reporting, thank your lucky stars that Lars and Ariel info didn't come true! Have a good day!

Hey! We finally got our new domain and we're going to premiere it on September 17th, the same day as the premiere of the Real World Las Vegas. More information will definitely become available within the next few days.
Also, MTV/BMP has decided to air a RW12 Preview on September 3rd, two weeks before the premiere of the Real World: Las Vegas. There you will meet the cast members and see the house. Expect promos as early as next week!
That's it! Hope you're all excited!

There's a new kid in town. Thanks to the posters at boards like MTV.com, Reality World TV, and Tubescan... who really do the work when it comes to these things: Arissa is the newest cast member. She joins Steve, Irulan, Trishelle, Alton, and Brynn as the Real World Las Vegas. The last cast member is a guy with blond hair. We'll see him soon!

That was a great Road Rules episode last night. The season is a little lacking... they just need to stick to their guns, which is making great TV. BMP tries to alter too much.
A lot of people have been emailing me about the cast profiles on MTV.com. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but here they are anyway:
Steve
Irulan
Trishelle
Alton
Brynn
And also I'm hearing that Rachel and Aneesa are an item? That was just sort of random for me. Apparently, they posted a message at MTV.com that was misleading. They are just nothing but great friends. Also, I would like to thank all the peeps at the Tubescan/MTV.com boards for doing all the digging when getting the cast pictures. They were the real scavengers in all this. PLUS, we are going to expand the site in a few days. We are getting a domain name, and we are keeping the blog, but many, many people expressed a desire to see a lot more. So, we are working on doing that. (That's why the news is so skimpy.)
Thanks and have a great day. (We're about to hit 100,000 visitors!)

To asuage all of your fears about tonight's Road Rules episode... Wanda from e-online.com, confirms the spoiler (along with some behind the scenes tidbits) from Sarah herself:
"Unless one of the cast members was totally yanking my chain, it is Sarah. The cast member also told me that although she left on good terms, when they met up again in LA for press (Including yours truly), the girls had it out."
Also, on the Real World: Las Vegas:
"As for the Real World Las Vegas.. I know a lot of names are being thrown around and I can tell you that I can only tell you that Brynn and Alton are sure things... They hooked up with Kendal and Rachel while Road Rules visited their digs. (Kendal with Alton and Rachel with Brynn) Darrell also got some hot-tub action with another Vegas Real Worlder, which you've seen in the promos. The only Road Ruler not to get some lovin was Shane. So I'm guessing no gay guys on the Vegas cast."
She also goes on to talk about Brynn being with Rachel... Someone asked her about Brynn being the lesbian... She said that she was a girl... Anyway, she also goes on to correct her previous statement about Darrell and changes it to Eric in the hot tub!
That's it! Some news on the site to come in coming days!

People keep e-mailing and asking about Sarah and if she gets voted off, as people are looking at the "this season on Road Rules" promos, and finding inconsistenties. Being as the episode is tomorrow, let's dish it out:
Wanda from E-online said that it was Sarah. (She actually said it indirectly... As she'd get the Road Rulers in trouble if she did. MTV.com posted a summary of the episode on their on-air schedule SAYING Sarah is the one to be voted off. (They mysteriously deleted that summary.) There are several other things. Like SUPPOSEDLY, Kendal and Rachel were SUPPOSEDLY spotted further west than Texas with the group. Also, I recieved an email from a reliable source (they proved their connection) telling me that Sarah was voted off (4-2). As for scenes not yet seen with Sarah that were in that promo... There's still one episode left and maybe they'll show it tomorrow or maybe they'll not show it at all since they have hundreds of hours in editing. As always, MTV looks to distort the truth. So, either the promo is wrong or the info they've been giving out is wrong. That'll be pretty awesome if Kendal or Rachel would be the ones to go... I would have a newfound respect for the editors and rumor starters over at MTV and BMP.
So, we'll see if that pans out. Pretty sure it will. So after yesterday's mayhem about The Real World: Las Vegas, we'd like to re-post all the pictures of them on the web. Here they are:

This is a SPOILER! Something NOT about the Las Vegas cast. We recently got news about the Road Rulers final mission and their handsome reward. They will call it the "Blind Faith Mission". Remember how the Road Rulers had to entrust each other in Mission #1 at Appalachian State? Well, this time it's a little different.
They filmed this FINAL episode at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo back in April. It is one hour north of Santa Barbara, California. It's part of the California State University System. The WHOLE RV was lifted high into the air with a crane and attached to the RV was a platform where they had to walk across an obtacle course to the other side. Darrell was the first member to go across with no blindfold and the rest had to go across WITH a blindfold. They used the directions of Darrell on the other side to help them get across. It was pretty amazing watching the filming from the ground. Each member emerged from the RV that was dangling in mid air and had to climb up to the top of the RV and then out onto the long obtacle course tight-rope sort of thing to the other side. The handsome and final reward for this mission was a trip around the world.
Their mayors were named Ben and Katrina. Apparently all they asked when they auditioned mayors was their shirt size. ANYWAY, you can read the article Cal Poly, SLO wrote here. But most of this info was emailed to us by a student.
Thanks. That's all!

Fueling all the speculation, with posting pictures of supposed cast members Bree and Steve, we get another set from none other than MTV.com. These pictures appeared at the Tuescan Boards at first, so we will bring them here. Here's the world's first look at Alton, Brynn, and Trishelle.
Here's the link to the pictures.
So, this is it? But doesn't this add questions upon questions upon questions? Neither the names Steve or Bree bring anything up... None of the other rumored names, including ones not listed here (and we tried all of them), bring anything up. Are all the pictures uploaded yet? Is Bree and Brynn really feasible? Are they the same person? What about Alton? Is he the seventh? Are these really the castmembers? Heh. That's just the fun part of doing this I guess. We'll never, ever know until the season starts. So, just to say, everything, even the stuff on MTV.com, is SPECULATION. It's just interesting to see. If you have any additional pictures, please email them to us at newrwroad@hotmail.com.

A friend from Steve from the upcoming Real World Las Vegas, who goes by the name of "Biff", recently emailed us about the cast member and gave us exclusive pics! If you use these pics, please give credit to our site. :) Apparently, the Real World/Road Rules connection this year is a little more freaky than we thought.
Remember the Boyz Cellar? The bar that Shane and Darrell stripped in. Supposedly, even though he's straight, he bartended at the bar. So... he must be very free-spirited. Also, he attended Southwest Texas State, the same college that they did the bungee jump from. He also hails from Austin, Texas.
Here's the link to the pics.
Wow. Two cast members in one day. If you have pics of the cast members, email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com! As with every season, until the season premieres EVERYTHING is speculation. That's what makes this kind of thing FUN. We'll have to see if this information really pans out once the season premieres...

Wanda that beautiful, beautiful vixen on E-online.com revealed some juicy, scary tidbits on the Battle cast... as she promised and as we were reporting to you. These are spoilers... She reveals that Puck is the one who ties the knot to his lovely, lovely girlfriend. It is actually the one who he beat up and was put in jail for a year for beating her up. Anyway, don't expect that marital bliss to continue, as when one of Puck's favorite Real World girls are voted out of the girls group, he goes crazy, chasing the camera guys with a machete. WOW. Anyway, he's kicked off, and the latest Real World guy who was voted off replaces Puck for a week.
Also, Wanda dishes on James and Emily, the couple who got together after the Extreme Challenge. Well, remember how Emily was saying on Battle of the Seasons that once Chadwick was gone, Holly would crumble? Well, after the guys kick James off, Emily votes herself off. She was supposedly very close to winning. Another WOW.
And finally, as was hinted before, the guys are in the lead... but this is probably the biggest spoiler, the guys WIN the actual Battle. And this was confirmed through one of our sources who is close to some cast members who were on the Battle.
This whole dish about the Battle has also cleared up, it gives us a little insight to how the game is played. A few surprises are promised, but it's the same premise as the Seasons, expect inner circles are formed through male/female groups. Also, expect to still have some Real World/Road Rules tensions, as it'll still be Real World/Road Rules as promised!
Whew, long news day... Here's some Las Vegas dish... Here's the first, official CLEAR picture of a Real Worlder:
This is the beautiful Bree who we reported eariler that was on the cast. This is actually the Palms swimming pool that she's in, where the cast works. Also, want to see the Real Worlders boss in their stay in Las Vegas?
The guy on the left is George Maloof owner of the Palms and Sacramento Kings. (The Real Worlders were seen hanging out with Sacramento Kings star Chris Webber and his girlfriend Tyra Banks.) It is really unclear if we'll see Mr. Maloof in the season, but we do know that the Real Worlders worked in the casino under Maloof's instructions to promote and work in order to stay in the hotel.
These pictures can be seen at ESPN 920 Radio's site. You can directly link to the picture of Bree here.
In connection with the Real World Las Vegas, someone emailed me about a small relatively unknown site dedicated to the Real World Las Vegas. You can find it here. (Thanks to Mike for that.) Anyway, we already know that Trishelle, Bree, and Steve are confirmed cast members of the twelfth season. However, it adds Brandon and Ariel to the list. The two cast members supposedly found the site through a forum and signed the site's guestmap. They say that they are under contract not to release any pictures until two weeks before September 17. If you're a castmember, send your pics our way at newrwroad@hotmail.com (Heheh... I had to say it.) Ariel hails from Oregon and Brandon hails from Massachuttes. We'll see if this pans out once the season starts. Also, we recieved an email saying that Lars was a part of this cast... So far it's Trishelle, Brandon, Ariel, Lars, Steve and Bree...We just need the seventh, who can be either a male or a female.
Also, with news from BacktoRendovouz, we recently heard that Judd from the San Francisco season is working on his Green Lantern comic. He was actually lucky to catch the interview with Judd on MSNBC:
"Last night RW3's Judd was interviewed with a news reporter on MSNBC, talking about how he's adding a gay teenager to the comic book series "The Green Lantern", and there was a confrontation between someone who hated the idea and Judd. Currently Judd is working on the comic "The Green Lantern" and is happily living with wife and former RWer Pam."
Also, look for the Road Rules Halfway There Marathon this weekend on MTV. Check your local listings for airtimes. PLUS, PLUS, PLUS... enter the Road Rules Midterm Exam Sweepstakes. You have to be 18 years old and a U.S. citizen in order to enter... You don't have to take the quiz, but the quiz is relatively easy. The grand prize is a 4-day, 3-night roadtrip with your friends in the Road Rules RV. The thing is... you have to pay for gas. Enter it @ MTV.com.
That is it, people! Have an awesome day!

We've done some sleuthing and don't expect this one to stay around long at the MTV.com site as we know that they check out our site rather frequently. Hey you guys at MTVi!! We also don't know if they planted this one... we don't think so, but it should be accurate.
So, who will replace Sarah once she gets the boot. A girl by the name of Raquel. We've been reporting on this for a short while. But this should officially confirm it. No picture, but MTV.com confirms it for us. How do we know...
Go to this screen capture and find out yourself.
Good stuff, huh? Don't expect her profile to be around long. MTV will probably take it off soon. Just so everyone knows... This is an official MTV.com profile... so only the folks at MTV.com can make them up. Here's the Link.
That's it.

Just to tell everyone... I posted this over THREE hours ago... BLOGGER is slow.
A little more news than normal today... Thanks to BacktoRendevouz who let us use their pictures that they took off the preview from the Real World: Las Vegas house! Here they are:

The house looks great. On a related note, everyone who views these pictures say that the house looks crammed. It's not that crammed. Actually, this is one of the biggest houses in RW history. (By far, Miami holds the title for that.) However, this house is significantly larger than the Belfort, which was pretty huge.
Also, I'd like to mention a site about past Real Worlders and Road Rulers, it's called Worldwide Talent Group. If you're considering an alumni to lecture for your school, go to their website. They have the hook-ups on all the cast members and most of the cast members ONLY lecture through them.
Also, we have an alumni update. Rachel from The Real World: Back to New York is now tending bar aat Scopa on Madison Avenue at 28th Street. Looks like she grew out of her virgin qualities. If you are in New York, go pay Rachel a visit.
Also, another visitor clued us in on Lindsay from Seattle and Battle of the Seasons fame about her and a recent marriage proposal:
"Lindsay is on the Bert morning show on Q100 in Atlanta. Well, on Tuesday, her boyfriend of 5 weeks, whom everyone likes to call "Frenchy" because he's French, actually PROPOSED to Lindsay live on the air. Well, everyone, including Frenchy, had to wait until Wednesday to hear what Lindsay said. Much to everyone's disappointment, Lindsay told Frenchy that she's at a time in her life that she doesn't want to be married. Frenchy kind of new that the answer was going to be no, but he said he would have been surprised if it was yes."
Thanks to Gabe for that info. You can hear the proposal and Lindsay's respose at their website. Her boyfriend, who she met in Aspen, recently bought them a house to go with the proposal.

A little insight to the next airing of Road Rules. SPOILERISH INFORMATION... This next episode, which is the voting off episode, is all about the group. The group, with the impending threat that a random person will be removed and all their prizes will be taken away, will vote to vote. It is unclear who changes their mind.. The preview puts it on either Rachel or Sarah. Anyway, one of them does change their mind and Sarah is voted off. The rest of the episode is how Kendal handles Eric's quick action to voting someone off the group. This episode will air on the 19th. On the 26th, Road Rules will take a week off. Expect the newest cast member to be introduced on the 2nd of September. The person who is rumored to be joining the cast is Raquel from Round Rock, TX. This is a rumor and hasn't been confirmed from a realiable source. It'll be interesting to see though. Also, expect three more bungee missions, as bungee.com reports that they were coordinating 4 different stunts for Road Rules in Tempe, Santa Barbara, Lubbock, and Austin. In these last few episodes, they are known to visit schools in Arizona, California and Nevada. So stay tuned for that.
Hello!
A few updates today: Zap2it.com recently wrote an article about Chicago's Chris, Cara, Theo and Kyle in attendance at the Teen Choice Awards (airing Monday on Fox) to present Jennifer Love Hewitt's performance. There are one or two interesting tidbits in this: especially the part about September 11th. I'm just disgruntled now...
"The cast of MTV's "The Real World: Chicago" was on hand to introduce a musical performance from Jennifer Love Hewitt. As Kyle Brandt, Cara Nussbaum, Chris Beckman and Theo Gantt walked the red carpet, it was hard not to notice them gawking at the "American Idol" contestants being swarmed with attention. Perhaps they chose to star in the wrong reality show. When asked what their advice would be to future "Real World" wannabes, Cara shouted, "Don't do it." Admittedly, she may be bitter. She admits that she can't find an agent who wants to represent her or a film to star in. Kyle has no such worries; he was recently the lead in an independent film, adding that it won't be appearing on Hollywood marquis. Chris is still modeling in New York, and Theo has showbiz aspirations of his own. One interesting tidbit, the cast admits their filmed reactions to Sept. 11 were staged. When the tragic event was taking place, they were actually at Wrigley Field for a photo shoot. Reality TV is not real? Say it ain't so."
Also, Melissa further updated her site, giving us a clue about why she deleted that information. She talks mostly about American Idol in her latest entry:
"...What in the hell is going on? They got free makeovers and goodie bags at Sephora? I need to know who did the trade out deal for MTV. We surely didn't get Sephora and we got some ugly clothes that I would wear if I was a pre-teen living in Iowa and accessorized exclusively with Claire's Boutique. The clothes sucked this year and I am so ashamed that I even attempted to cooperate by wearing them. I swear, it was only because I didn't want to ruin my own clothes. Gross! I can't even pronounce the name of the brand, but know that it was the poor man's American Eagle and maybe even worse. More talk about that when the shit airs. Don't want to be all caught up in some confidentiality breach. That would be messing with both my emotions and my money, I think. Back to AI..."
Now, the whole losing the money thing can mean any number of things. She might get sued because she's talking too much about the challenge or either that or she won the challenge and lost all that money she got. Who knows? She also mentions in the entry that she auditioned to be one of the hosts of American Idol, positions which are filled by Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman... Melissa hosting would've been hilarious. She also mentions in her RWNO section that she hates the article about TV Guide and the Lost Season.
Also, we will keep you updated on this... but Wanda from E-online is going to write an article this Friday supposedly about the Battle of the Sexes. She is suppose to mention tiny tidbits about everything and it'll definitely be an article to check out.

All the posts from Melissa's site regarding being at Jamaica and the Battle have officially been DELETED from her site. No clue as to what really precipated the deletion. However, the Battle did end yesterday, so Melissa is possibly back from the trip already. There is really no clue as to why she deleted them. BMP could've told her to go ahead and delete them. Something might have happened at the end of filming. Nothing is really clear and there is no definitive answer.
Also, we also got some news about Aneesa and someone saying they spotted her at a club at NYC a few weeks ago. So she was probably voted off earlier than previously thought.
That's it! Thanks for all the help everyone!

Wanda over at E-online always gets jiggy with the latest Battle info. She has the hook-ups with SEVERAL castmembers. She reported that a wedding took place Some good guesses were Keri from the Chicago season. Although she did announce that she was "pre-engaged"... (How does that work??) She is not the one. Also, were James (MVT) and Emily (USA - Tour 2), who are currently dating, but that's false. And she really didn't reveal it flat out... But expect everyone's favorite Real Worlder, PUCK to tie the knot. Maybe it was that chick who he beat up...
Also, Wanda gave us a clue as to who is winning and it's the boys. Sorry ladies...
That's it for tonight.

If you didn't read the latest TV Guide about the Real World: Vancouver you missed some pretty decent information. Well, from watching the movie, most people know that Rachel (San Franscisco), David (Los Angeles), Amaya (Hawaii), David (Seattle), Aneesa (Chicago), Mike (Back to New York), and Melissa (New Orleans) were a part of the alumni challenge cast. However, did you know that BMP had approached two other alumni to do the Lost Season?
Yes, apparently both Puck (San Francisco) and Eric (New York) were both asked to be a part of the movie. "There was a little problem with his management." said Jonathan Murray of Eric, co-producer of the shows. We also saw that little problem rear its ugly head with Eric when the All Stars cast was asked to record their own theme song. And Puck, well... Julie Patzwald who played Melinda on the movie says Puck wanted big bucks because he believes he's a big star... He wouldn't work for scale.
And you think that the Lost Season cast would show some love for the around 80 reality tv veterans that Real World has produced over the years. Most of the shows actors, who are mostly Canadians, have never seen the show and are bitter about reality TV. They all believe the craze, spurred on by shows like the Real World, has taken food out of their mouths.
And the article goes on how to say that Rachel, Melissa and Amaya feel pigeonhold by their tv personalities. Amaya will almost forever be known as the Most Annoying Cast Member as voted by TV Guide fans in 2000. Sucks to be them...
As for the Battle, I could sit here and recount hours and hours of speculation, redrudge every piece of news about the Battle that we've ever posted. But if you really, really want to know... go to our archives. You'll find the link at the left. Anyway, what most people want to know is who is left at the end. Well, these are semi-spoilers, because we know that most of these people are left. Melissa, Blair, Lori, Ruthie, Syrus, Christina, and Anne. This is last we heard. Theo, Aneesa, and Shane who were a part of this list, have been supposedly spotted or contacted at their homes. This is all speculation at this point though. They are staying at the Round Hill Hotel and the Battle is scheduled to end TODAY. The rules are still Real World vs. Road Rules, however.. SEASONS has no weight this time around. It's guys vs. girls... so expect some weird things to be happening.
That's all for today. Check the archives!

We recieved an email the other day from a faithful Real World viewer who gave us a sighting! A sighting of none other than the Real World Chicago's Theo. If you remember Theo was a part of the Battle of the Sexes which should be ending filming by at least tomorrow. Here's the sighting:
"I was at the promenade in Santa Monica and who did I see none other but Theo from Chicago? Me and my friends were all excited and we went to go and ask him questions. We knew that he was in Jamaica from this site actually, so we asked him what he was up to since the show ended. He said that he just came back from vacation "somewhere nice". Then we asked about the Battle. He didn't mention anything, he just smiled. There were a lot of people around him, so it was just a "hi and bye" kind of deal. But just to let you know, he's been voted off!"
Wanda from eonline also confirmed this as well. She supposedly interviewed him and some other castmates (not Anessa, Keri, or Tonya) at the Teen Choice Awards. Thanks to swtprincssgurl22 for this information! Have a good day everyone.
