So, the Las Vegas reunion was recently filmed and the Real Worlder who failed to show up this time... None other than Trishelle. There always seems to be one missing from these things.

Sunday, March 30, 2003

You heard it here first: After appearing on The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Janet (Seattle) resurfaces. Janet who appears on Channel 1 News, the educational news program, only made an appearance on The Real World 10th Anniversary Special after her stint on the Challenge. Janet will be appearing in Freaky Friday alongside the Parent Trap's Lindsay Lohan and True Lies actress Jamie Lee Curtis. Janet will play Dr. Mary Ann Smyth and it is unclear what her purpose in the film will be. Janet joins Jacinda as a Real Worlder releasing a major motion picture this year. Jacinda (London) will star in The Human Stain alongside Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins & Ladder 49 alongside Joaquin Pheonix.
I apologize for the lack of updates in the past week. It was a pretty crazy week for the Real World... Who wants to slap Emily, Ruthie, and Ellen for that decision??? Kristin from E-Online said a long, long time ago that Emily ends up leaving BOTS because of James. (She ends up voting herself off...) And what about The Real World? Who thought that this season was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long?!? (That was because they increased the number of episodes this year.) I mean... How many times can Irulan and Alton break up? We're back. And we hope you check in regularly for updates!

Ever wonder what happened to Adam (The Quest) and Timmy (USA - Tour II)? We'll they're living life with Ethan and Jenna from Survivor. Check it out!

Thursday, March 20, 2003

Ever wonder what happen to Pier 70 of Seattle fame? Take a look here. It's been completely remodeled.
SPOILER - Highlight to read (It's about who wins BOTS):

Colin, Mark, and Jamie win the Battle of the Sexes.

A new website has been discovered: Chadwick (RR6)

Tuesday, March 18, 2003

Apparently, the two reported cast members who were in the process of finals, were cast in Road Rules: South Pacific. Both Ace and Cristina join the cast of Road Rules 12... Along with Donell.

Also, here's info on a new Battle of the Sexes mission.
If you're in the NY area and want to be a part of the Las Vegas Reunion, go here. Hurry!
Kristin from E-Online revealed something. This is actually something we reported wwwwwwayyyyyy long time ago: ;) These again, are SPOILERS. Mask your eyes and don't look if you don't want to see. Colin wins this year Battle. No big deal. And she actually revealed the first Road Ruler from the South Seas. His name is Donell and he's a hysterical, overweight guy. She says that this is the first overweight cast member. Which I dont think is neccesarily true... And she also met up with them in New Zealand (not the South Pacific). BMP was really lucky to get this filming done. With the war and what not, it probably isn't the safest place for an American cast and crew to be. Filming is probably wrapped on the show. She also made the comment that only five out of the six were at the promo. She didn't specify why. But who knows?
There's been question as to which three female cast members will make it to the final inner circle. Colin has commented that Mark and Ellen do both appear on the reunion special for the Battle. So, if they run the same format as last year's reunion, that means Mark, Colin, and Ellen all make it to the inner circle. But, who are the other two ladies who arrive in the Inner Circle? Well, it's been speculated that both Melissa and Lori make it because of the fact that they both say they lasted a month in Jamaica on their websites. However, that means that Ruthie, who is considered to be a front runner doesn't make it. Doubtful. I'd say the lead is between these four ladies though. Probably expect Jamie to take the third spot for the males.

Just one of them things that we noticed on one of our "bored runs". If you are thinking of inviting a Real World or Road Rules cast member to your school or event, don't do so with out looking at this. Yes, it's about Julie and Melissa. (We were just bored. But it was one of those things where you're like "WOW" if you haven't read it before. Which we haven't.) To our knowledge, Julie hasn't listed any speaking engagements on her website since that first episode ended. She's only done appearances with her band, nothing to do with the Real World. Bored? So are we.
Lori has posted her synposis of tonight's episode. A couple of spoilers! Everything Lori

Sunday, March 16, 2003

Ayanna (Semester At Sea) has her own website.

Also, a Real World: Las Vegas reunion is in the works. It is probably going to be filmed in the next couple of days. Las Vegas is nearing the end of its run. Also expect a New Orleans, Back to New York and Chicago reunion as well. It'll be interesting to see Julie, Melissa, Kyle, Lori and Keri reunite all together in one place.
Rachel in Spring Break

Friday, March 14, 2003

A new website has been discovered, Andre (New York), Got Milkweed?

And apparently, Jamie, Eric Nies, Ruthie and Rachel (Campus Crawl) are filming a spring break segment for MTV. No official word on this.
Want a piece of Road Rules history? Now you can own one. Buy the Road Rules 11: Campus Crawl RV. YES, the RV! BMP put the RV up on E-bay. Here's the link. See where Shane slapped Darrell, where Kendal and Eric slept together. The place where they voted off Sarah.

After the Brynn panic attack episode on Tuesday night, she responds on the MTV Message Boards:

"I just want to clarify a few things...................
Wow, I agree that last nights episode came out of the woodwork, so to speak, I have now figured out that unless you are intimately involved with one of your roommates on this show, you will not be allowed a somewhat if any portrayl of your life! First of all, Ive been having Panic Attacks since I was 19. They only happen every now and then when my life starts to get overwhelming or it starts to change dramatically, and this show was dramatic! I did acctually go to the doctor twice while I was in Vegas for these "attacks". The doc confirmed that it was such, and gave me the option to go onto Paxil and Xanax. Now knowing that my mother, has been in rehab, more than once, for prescription drug addiction, including Xanax and pain killers, I am not one to really even take Ibuprophen, because I have grown up in the environment of addicted parents. So, I didnt take any of the docs advice, I knew that I had dealt with them before on my own, that there was now reason for me to turn to drugs now, especially on National Television, unlike Steven, who was on an antidepressant the whole time we were in Vegas and wouldnt tell anyone until after the show, just reitterates why I decided not to bring it there! The cameras were there for all of my visits and attacks, they chose what to show and what not to show, I have to control. I would however, turn my backs to the cameras while I was in the docs office, just because I thought it was fd up and how was I to know this doc would give me the correct diagnoses while he too was on camera, people fake, a lot, when they are on camera!!! I should know, I lived with a couple. Anyways, to further update my situation, my mother, who was not the woman in the picture that they showed, is out of rehab and is now working as a drug rehab counselor. I am engaged to Austin and we are expecting a baby in mid September. My anxiety and panic is still there and it too was hard for me to watch last night, not only because it was sad, but in fear of triggering another attack, I havent had one, in months, Ive done it all on my own, that is, controlled the attacks, via el natural! I wasnt implying that all of those on antidepressants are nut jobs, if that was the case my whole family and about 60% of americans would be crazy! I do feel those who have chosen to take these drugs are benefiting themselves and those around them and are most likely leading more successful and happy lives, my congrats to you! Take care, Brynn"

It's down! Colin ripped the review off his website. But you can still find the spoilers below.
I thought this was pretty funny, but there was no episode of BOTS tonight. However, Colin failed to note this fact and prematurely posted his review of the episode. The following are SPOILERS for the next episode:
Not too many things revealed. Christina and Eric N. are the ones chosen to go home. Veronica is disqualified from the mission. The mission is walking across these triangles things. She falls. And from what I gather, Anne, Christina, and Emily all talk -ish about Veronica the whole time. Only to let Christina go home. Christina, untastefully as said by Colin, gives props to both Emily and Anne in her goodbye speech.
Check it out at Colin's World. I'm sure it'll be up for a little while longer. At least through tomorrow afternoon.

Add one more cast member to the list: Malik has a website.
Kristin over at E!Online mentions something a little weird over at her web column. She mentions that next week she'll be flying down to Australia to meet with the new Road Rules cast. Correction: She says "Down Under", which I believe is Australia. The cast might be doing press... (But in Australia?!?) This most likely means that the season is about to begin shooting or end shooting. We'll see... Season premiere is in June.

Friday, March 07, 2003

Oh my goodness! Real World: Las Vegas The Complete Season will be out soon on DVD. After bringing the first season (New York) to DVD, producers decided to come out with the Las Vegas season. The moment you are waiting for is finally here. While both seasons just began filming, The Real World: Paris and Road Rules: South Pacific already have premiere dates. According to Zap2it.com, "Road Rules XII: South Pacific" will be premiering May 26 and "The Real World Paris" will premiering June 3. Set your calendar right now!
A lot of Real World/Road Rules cast members were in tow at the UCLA Dance Marathon this past weekend. Castmembers like Mike (Back to New York), Kendal (Campus Crawl) and Blair (The Quest) help to raise $50,000 for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Read about the event at Melissa's site and Mike's site.

The Real World: Texas? It looks like it. BMP is currently staking out locales for their 14th season. And Dallas and Austin seem to be front runners. Other locales in the past included Atlanta, Key West, and St. Louis. Usually, BMP ends up buying space in several cities, waiting until close to the season premieres to make a choice. For their 13th season, it was wildly speculated that it would take place in Atlanta. However, they quickly and quietly switched the city to Paris. Stay tuned to BMP for an official press release later on.

Wanna waste time? Bored out of your mind? Take some Real World quizzes here. It's a fun little site I stumbled upon. Some are actually hard.

Thursday, February 27, 2003

Thanks for the huge response! We have recieved your emails and we will keep you updated on our decision within the weekend. Keep checking in this weekend... In news, David (New Orleans/BOTS) appeared on the Chapelle Show on Comedy Central. Chapelle (who is actually David E. (Los Angeles) cousin) did a sketch called the Mad Real World. It's funny and David does "C'mon Be Your Baby Tonight"... in the sketch. This classic song back in full force!

Looking for feedback on this one: We have several copies of Real World/Road Rules seasons on VHS tapes. Some are complete, others are incomplete. Parts of seasons may include Islands, Boston, Northern Trail, Seattle, Australia, Hawaii, Latin America, New Orleans, Maximum Velocity Tour, RR All Stars, Challenge and Challenge 2000. We were wondering if we put these tapes on E-bay, with most seasons being incomplete, would there be bidders for them? Email newrwroad@hotmail.com, if you are interested.
After last night's Battle episode, we got eleven more people left on each side. Check out Melissa, Lori, and Colin's website for the reviews.

Monday, February 24, 2003

Let us break down tonight's episode two hours before it airs on the east coast: THESE ARE SPOILERS Puck gets booted off the Battle tonight. (This is for the machete incident.) Dan is brought back, but leaves because he is again the lowest scoring member of the guys team. Aneesa is booted from the girls side. The girls' inner circle is formed of Ruthie, Emily and Ellen once again. Emily tries to pull off a Rachel thing again where she wants to vote off Veronica this time. But Ruthie and Ellen stop her. Girls win this pairs mission. It's a mission where you have to solve a puzzle. Ayanna and Ruthie are the winners. They decide to give it to Tonya.

This hasn't been confirmed. But most is correct!
So that's 3/7 Las Vegas castmembers who have ran into trouble with the law. Arissa had a warrant out for her arrest in Boston during the filming of the show. Frank was picked up on misdemeanor charges shortly before coming to the show. And Alton has been arrested for assualt. This latest edition of Real World turned Cops happened at a promotion in a bar in North Carolina. Steven, Trishelle, Brynn, Alton and Irulan were serving as temporary bartenders for the night, when Alton got into an altercation with the bar's managers. He posted bail after spending Saturday night in the slammer. The Smoking Gun reports this all in their website, saying how sweet it was for Irulan to walk Alton out to the cop car. They are still together. You can check out the Smoking Gun's report, here. His mugshot is there too, it looks like he's posing for an MTV photo shoot rather than a mug shot. Damn those beautiful RW kids!
New design. Kinda not original. Will have to suffice for now.
On newsstands this week is Reality TV Love Secrets provided by US Magazine. And featured are none other than the self-proclaimed "King & Queen of the Real World", Rachel and Sean. Check out the issue to see their feature and pictures of their children Evita and Xavier.

Bunim-Murray officially announced today that casting for The Real World: Paris and Road Rules South Seas is now over. Filming probably already has begun or will begin within the next month. In other casting news, BMP is now casting for a new show called Born to Diva. American Idol-esque, added with a little Real World... A few females around the country are chosen to live in a house, competing for a chance to appear with the likes of Celine Dion in VH1's Diva's Special. The Real Spring Break has already been cast and is scheduled to be filmed in four weeks.

Blogger was just purchased by Google, so I'm sure it will turn into a load of over-advertised crap soon.... That's the reason why Blogger wasn't working for the past few days.

Anyway, Puck was on Cribs. Go to Melissa's site to catch the d/l on this one. Go now!

Wednesday, February 19, 2003

From Battle of the Sexes to Coke. David from New Orleans is featured on the new Coke Commercials. He's on the second "real R&B, real coke" commercial with Musiq. He's beatboxing in the commercial. Look for it.

Tuesday, February 18, 2003

Crazy episode, eh? Who knew the drama would come back? Usually when stuff like this happens, they resort to voting off the lowest scorer, so this will probably be the last big drama of the season. Who knows? The Puck machete incident happens next week. Supposedly, according to Lori's episode review at her site, that happened the same night Rachel and Dan were voted off. You think that all hell has broken loose? You have no idea... Melissa also says it has somethign to do with broken glass. The site looks like crap. We're working on it. It'll be a short while.

Sunday, February 16, 2003

Just a note: THE FINAL SITE WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THIS. We are experiencing technical difficulties because we are using a regular 28k phone line. Blogger sucks at updating templates. We're looking into the problem. Sit tight. It may be a while. Heheh.
Hola! What's up? Same old', Same old'...

Ever wonder if Puck really did have a white picket fence and a pool? Well, his house will be shown on the next episode of Cribs along with Missy Elliot's crib. Check your local listings.

Plus, Bella Online scored an interview with Colin, go check it.

Saturday, February 15, 2003

So the 19 degrees of Reality TV Hookups was a clip show for all intensive purposes. However, it did show some unknown things that were interesting. They are:

  • 60 former cast members of both shows now live in Los Angeles.

  • There have been 40 hookups on both shows.

  • There are countless others that haven't been on air:
  • Timmy and Holly hooked up during the hurricane in Cabo. (Battle of the Seasons)

  • No one still knows what happened between Dan and Holly on Challenge 2000.

  • Becky and Theo hooked up during Battle of the Seasons.

  • Timmy and Becky hooked up after filming Battle of the Seasons.

  • Coral and Theo dated during Battle of the Seasons.

  • Coral went out for coffee with Steven during the Las Vegas casting process. Coral wanted something to happen. Steven didn't.

  • Keri and Blair shared a kiss during a New Year's Party.

  • Blair and Kendal dated for five months.

  • And finally... a confirmation on Lori and Kyle, who met during the Chicago wrap party. But declined to be interviewed by MTV on their relationship.

  • Also, we are working on a new sleeker site design which should be out in the next two days.

A new special airs today on MTV at 1pm. It's airing right now on the east coast. It's called Real World/Road Rules 19 Degrees of Reality TV Hookups. Hosted by Mike and Malik (Back to New York), this special will outline the mishaps of Real World/Road Rules relationships.

Trouble in paradise? It looks like it. It has been long said that Emily and James get voted off at the same time. James goes first, then Emily soon follows. However, what Kristin at E-Online says is that the two take a break off their relationship. Something goes awry in Jamaica? Maybe.

Plus, she reveals that we'll see a different side of Frank as Las Vegas windles down. The LA trip will show some tension between Trishelle and Frank. Plus, she reveals that Trishelle dated Adam (The Quest).
Colin's second book, A New Ladies Man, is out. Go to his website to check it out!

    Thursday, February 13, 2003

Talk about movin' on up. Teck (Hawaii) is featured on tonight's episode of Friends. He plays one of the youthful interns that Chandler works with and makes him feel old.

And another Real World movie? No, it's not the Lost Season... We've reported on Cancun: The Reality Movie before, but all trade reports has got this one as The Real Spring Break... Maybe spinning it of the Real World. Whistleblowers say this movie will be a spinoff of sorts... This film isn't being produced by MTV films, but is being produced by New Line Cinema with Bunim-Murray Productions. It joins two other reality movies this summer: From Justin to Kelly and Spring Break: The Movie. All three films are mysteriously all about Spring Break. The film will have six males and six females (Road Rules numbers...) and film them in Cancun, Mexico. The Real Spring Break will be released sometime in August.
Jacinda who is known for her role on London is adding two big screen movies to her resume. She stars in the Human Stain with Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins. And a bigger role in Ladder 49 with Joaquin Pheonix and John Travolta. Jacinda has a bigger role in the latter movie, playing Pheonix's wife. Ladder 49 sees wide release on November 7th, 2003 while the Human Stain is released sometime this year.
Did you know? Pam and Judd were both asked to appear on Battle of the Sexes? Just some small news. I think Chris (Chicago) was also asked to appear. (This is a slow news day...)

And The Real World You Never Saw Vegas DVD came out. Apparently, you can catch a glimpse of Irulan's boob... (This according to an emailer)

    Tuesday, February 11, 2003

Amaya and Yes round up tonight's victims. Elimination board should be posted soon! Stay tuned. Las Vegas is dwindling down to its final episodes. Catch the latest one where Trishelle has a falling out with another cast member.

    Monday, February 10, 2003

Lori is selling stuff on E-bay. So go check that out at her website. She also mentions the fact (again) that she'll be a more integral part to upcoming episodes. Maybe this is in sync with what she told Kristen at E! Online, where there are going to be people moving up in points very soon... Does Lori make the Top 3? New information... Remember how last year's Battle of the Seasons aired a reunion special with the final inner circles? Well, Colin says something about him and Mark confronting Ellen at the reunion special for Battle of the Sexes. Well, if they keep the same format as last year, most likely, Colin, Mark, and Ellen will all be a part of the inner circles. This is all speculation at this point though.
Sorry for the lack of updates... On the Saturday after Valentine's Day watch Real World/Road Rules 19 degrees of reality hook-ups hosted by Malik and Mike (Back to New York). It airs at 1pm. Kinda sad. They're just going to be making fun of all the mishaps of Real World relationships... ie. Irulan and Alton...

    Friday, February 07, 2003

A new article fromWatch with Wanda... err. Kristin at E! Online. Some very juicy tidbits about the Battle and Vegas:

" Melodrama plus time equals laugh-out-loud comedy. That was the case for a group of Real World and Road Rules players, who gathered in a West Hollywood bar on Monday to watch the most recent episode of Battle of the Sexes, and yours tuberly was there to gather all the dirt that's fit to dish.

On hand were Ruthie (Real World: Hawaii), Genesis (Boston), Lori&Kyle (formerly of Back to New York and Chicago but now a single unit), Katie, Adam and Blair (Road Rules: The Quest), Mark (first season Road Rules) and Norman (first season Real World). Also in the house was Trishelle of the current Las Vegas season, who spilled more than a few secrets (which we'll get to later).

Battle host turned competitor Mark organized Monday's screening in honor of Puck (who didn't show), because this was the big ep in which Puck gets married--and, of course, is accused of threatening Ellen's life. Drama!

"Awww!" was the common comment throughout the Battle posse, as they watched a puffy-eyed Ellen quiveringly say she was afraid for her life. Followed by--get this--raucous laughter and clinking glasses when Puck retaliated and put Ellen in her place.

That's right, my friends. Puck's fellow castmates really don't hate him. I asked the studly Mark to explain the Puck cheering squad.

"Here is everything in a nutshell," he said. "Colin and I were in the room when the so-called 'I'm gonna kick your ass' thing happened with Ellen and Puck. And I can tell you, it never happened. He said, 'Beat it' and 'Get out of here,' but if he'd threatened her, we would have stepped in. In the reunion episode, Colin and I call out Ellen on the whole thing. Because it was bullshit."

So, who's crazier--Ellen or Puck? "Puck's crazy in a good way," Mark said. "Fun crazy. Ellen's a manipulative crazy. Unless I saw her saying this stuff, I would've never known it, because she's always so friendly. But when people are away, they say what they want."

Speaking of saying what you want, Trishelle (who's sweet as punkin pie in person) revealed some juicy tidbits about what's gone down since the show finished taping. If you don't want to know (pshaw!), skip the rest of this item.

Here's the status: Brynn's engaged to Austin (studly lip-stud dude), Irulan and Alton are very much together and living together--and Steven and Trishelle are not and not, but they are still close.

Trishelle explained the current sitch. "I'm living in Los Angeles with Katie, who was on the last Road Rules," she said, "and Steven lives, like, three streets away. Frank is also close. Frank and Katie are, like, inseparable. We are all very, very good friends. Irulan and Alton live right across the street. We talk every day."

Très cozy, no? I asked Trishelle if it was awkward living close to Steven given their history. "God, no! I meet all of his girlfriends, and I tell him which I like and which I don't. And he usually takes my advice. He does the same with me. We're both very mature, and we realize our friendship is more important than anything. I mean, I've met these people who are going to be in my life forever. Our producer has worked on eight other seasons, and he said that definitely we were the most close cast. I think the producers really cast us well, and they got lucky."

They weren't the only ones, eh? Speaking of which, a little birdie has told me Trishelle will hook up--then have a falling-out--with one of the other roommates (if you've seen the promos, you know which one), and she started dating a Road Rules guy after the show ended. Shhh...

Meanwhile, fans of the Lori-Kyle coupling can breathe a sigh of relief: They're still together...inseparable, in fact. They spent the entire night joined at the hip. "We've been together almost a year now," Kyle beamed, adding that Lori is planning on moving out to Los Angeles to join him.

According to her teammates, Lori and Kyle spent countless hours on the phone every night while they taped Battle. "What are you going to do?" she giggled, while sitting on Kyle's lap. "We get free phone calls. And I mean, look at him!"

As for what's coming up on Battle, Lori said to expect "lots of big changes. A lot of people on the bottom of the list who you don't even know about all jump to the top. Also, I'll eat more ramen and talk on the phone." Stop the presses!
    "

    Good stuff!

    Thursday, February 06, 2003

On a small note: The links on the right side to email the cast members NO LONGER works. BMP recently changed their webmasters and they probably re-vitalized the whole server. So there are no more chances to email the casts of Las Vegas or Campus Crawl!

    Tuesday, February 04, 2003

Hey! Real World Las Vegas is offering a trip to Austrailia with Brynn and Steve! You can pick one of two options: 1) Pay for it or 2) Enter the contest at Contiki.com!

    Monday, February 03, 2003

There's two new people to add to the long list of semi-finalists: Christina Pyle. Christina is a sophomore from Western Michigan University and we can confirm that she made it to finals. When asked about which show she preferred, she said Road Rules, citing the fact that Real World is too trashy. (Jon Murray said that this season they were going back to "real people" anyway...) So we'll see what show (if she made it) Christina made it on.

The second is Bud Wierenga. Bud comes from Eastern Illinois University. He is a junior majoring in English. When asked why he auditioned for Real World, he said that life is just too ordinary. Check out his picture here.

Check to see both Bud and Christina in casting specials (if there is one!) or The Real World: Paris or Road Rules: South Seas.

MTV is going to air a Real World/Road Rules Valentine's Day Special on Valentine's Day. It's still unclear who the special will actually feature, but you'll probably see couples like Pam and Judd, Sean and Rachel, James and Emily, and Chadwick and Holly. It seems similar to that other special they aired where Becky (New York) and Syrus (Boston) hosted. Hopefully, it won't be the same.
Reaching another milestone here at the Blog.... Within the next week... (Probably on Late Sunday to Mid Monday) We plan to hit the half a million mark!!!! That's right! Half a million visitors to The Real World/Road Rules Blog! With hopefully another half a million to come!

We finally got an answer to the #1 Question asked here at The Real World/Road Rules Blog. No, it's not, "How do I get on the show?" or "Is it really real?". But it actually is "What's Lori's (RW10) email address!?" She has one! It's lori@everythinglori.com. SOOOO many people want to get in touch with her and now's your chance. She has been increasingly weary of the whole Real World status she's obtained, so drop her a line, complement her, make her feel just downright good! Here's the contact page she posted on her site.
Hey! Now you can contact all your favorite cast members from Battle of the Sexes via snail mail at:

Colin's book is coming out soon. On Valentine's Day actually. It will be his second authoring venture. He wrote another book on relationships right after Hawaii aired. This is his second book. It's called A New Ladies' Man. It should be a good read, considering Colin's humor and such. This is a brief description of the book:

Part I = How To Get Girls Interested In You: Playing it Cool, Developing Style, Body Image and Hygiene.

Part II = What To Do When Girls Are Interested: Dating, Seeing Girls, Girlfriends, & Hooking-up.

Part III = When They’re Interested In Sex: Guys Pleasuring Girls, Female Orgasms, Girls Pleasuring Guys, Virginity, & KamaKolinsutra.

This is quite possibly the greatest book ever written by the greatest writer in the history of the universe. A New Ladies’ Man is a book for guys and girls alike. Buy it now and you won’t be disappointed! Each book from the first print run comes with an uncut, limited edition book cover, signed by Colin Mortensen.
We've been out all day, and we have recieved an overwhelming response about the hoax email. For the time being, please hold your emails, we have recieved 200 in a timespan of one day. So, we'd just rather post it on the site, than reply to all those emails. We recieved emails, from tubescan message board posters, who have sent us emails about tubescan before, saying that Trishelle of RW Las Vegas had committed suicide. It was disguised in a CNN article and THANKFULLY that information was false. Trishelle is stilll alive and well. Whatever beef those posters had with the site is FINE. HATE THE SITE! But it was uncalled for to take it to that degree... (They were trying to make up some fake news, so we could post it and look like fools.) Sorry about the confusion. We haven't been able to update for an entire day. We had no idea it was being blown up to this magnitude. It's not about competition. Visit the tubescan boards. Here's the link. Post like crazy on those boards. It's a good site to talk to other fans (at least most of them). It's all good. Just trying to have fun with the RW/RR information that so many of you crave. It just gets irritating when this kinda stuff happens. Plus, there is no beef between the owners of Tubescan and us. It's just the renegade posters who take it upon themselves. AGAIN SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE MENTIONED IT. That's it for this information! We just posted it cause it made us sick to our stomachs. Back to RW/RR info!

    Wednesday, January 29, 2003

Episode last night. Check out Lori, Colin and Melissa's synopsis'.

And for you tubescaners with that hoax email... That was incredibly sad. To lie about something is one thing, but that was incredibly uncalled for. And that has nothing to do with the sites. Whoever did that, seriously needs to re-evaluate what they did. (I realize that there are 99.9998% of people who have no clue what I'm talking about. Email me at my address and I'll tell you what went down. I'd prefer not to even talk about the specifics of that hoax email on a public forum. Someone might take it seriously...)

BMP after a couple of years, well... since RR9... has updated their website. Looks pretty good. Go check it out at BMP.

And now... the ION lifesaver. Colin clears this horrendous thing up by explaining a few things about the lifesaver. The reason why it means jack crap right now... Is because no one knows how to use it. The chance that you want to use it on someone that you don't want to go home, is slim to nothing. Right now, anyway. It's in the end that matters. If you are not in the inner circle (you don't have the highest culmative score) at the end of a competition, but you do score the highest in that individual competition, you can save yourself from going home... Expect that to be the last and probably ONLY function of the lifesaver. Anyway, Colin adds that they did put a nice function of the lifesaver, but no one knew about it. You could actually use the lifesaver to save the lowest scoring member of the opposing team, so they would have the weakest players stay on. When Gladys was voted off, Colin said that he went through the rules, saying that he found this out. He thought it would be a good idea to keep Gladys, a preganant woman who wouldn't be able to do any missions, on the team. But then, the guys knew the girls didn't know about this part of the Ion Lifesaver. So they decided not to do it, because it would wreak havoc on their preordained, lowest score... going home thing. But then he mentions if it ever happened, the lowest scoring guy would leave. So basically, the ion lifesaver means NOTHING.
Also, in sort of a reality tv irony... Kit Hoover (RR 1) will be interviewing Evan Marriott or Joe Millionaire on the Pulse. Fox's all new entertainment television show. She works for the pulse as an entertainment correspondent.

It's been two days since the last update. Our server was hit hard by the web virus attack and we just recieved notification today that our internet services might be going in and out of working order for the next several days. In Real World news, Teck (Hawaii) appeared on a Super Bowl commercial. Too bad the Bucs won...

Colin is selling his razor scooter/pogo stick over at Ebay! BUY BUY BUY! Go to Colins World for more information.
Melissa offers a spoileresque sort of post in her Real World section of the site. She talks about Las Vegas, The Battle of Good vs. Evil, The Battle of the Unlikeables, The New Orleans through Las Vegas Reunion, and even Paris. It sort of offers an insight to what The Real World really is. It's not that real. (Pay particular attention to Jon Murray thanking Melissa for her spat with Julie.) The producers pretty much dont care about the cast. (Jon Murray said the only way Puck could stay is if they allowed the crew to film David spitting on Puck.) So that should give you more information. But anyway, there's at least one more Challenge coming (They said Battle of the Seasons would be the last. HOW wrong was that?) And a reunion as well. Stay tuned to your sets.

I thought this needed a post... We missed this in all of the Julie/Melissa mess.. It's on Melissa's website: It's the whole thing about Coral calling Julie the devil. And then Julie putting Coral's name on her website.

"This was also taken from Julie's website. Some background: Coral saw her name on Julie's website and wanted it removed. Coral wants nothing to do with her, and stands by the pure fact that she didn't like Julie before she was ever friends with me. Coral called Julie and left two messages telling her to call her at her home or on her cell. No, Coral does not play. Julie then left two messages at odd hours in the night and in the morning. They finally caught up with each other by phone. Julie asked Coral if she would like to perhaps get to know each other and "meet up" and that she wished I'd stop rallying people against her. Coral reminded her that I need not do any rallying in order for people to form a negative opinion of her. Of course, she said all of this The Coral Way and damn it all to hell that we don't havea recording device. After they spoke, Julie wrote this entry. I must reiterate that the spelling and grammar are exactly as I have found them."

The entry Julie wrote after is the one called 94.3. Is it me or do you think Coral needs a website of her own?
Melissa posted her synopsis... Always fun. Princess Melissa... (Colin is straight up smart by the way... Getting a book published liked that. He's going to get a good chunk of change, even if he doesn't win.)
We got info on a potential cast member for the Real World: Paris. His name is Javeed. Javeed is 22 years old and lives in Toronto, Ontario Canada. He's currently attending the University of Toronto, pursuing a triple-minor in Psychology, Zoology and Political Science. Javeed supposedly made it to finals and was stil trying to decide whether or not he wanted to do the Real World. We'll see if he decided to do it.

The ep just aired. If you live on the west coast, and dont want to know: Don't read this... The scores after tonight are posted down below. Colin posts a very interesting journal topic in his website. He gives insight to why the girls lost so bad: No they weren't just slower than the guys... Go to his website. Basically, MTV/BMP = not good providers.

Anyway, some people were asking me to post how the scores ended up after each episode. Here's the tally: (By the way, BLOGGER sucks with HTML... that's why the table looks like crap!)

Did anyone watch the house-building girls on the Battle? Pure Hilarity! And did anyone see Amaya and Veronica partner up? Wow. At least someone squashed their beef on this Battle...
Maybe it was because it's was a lecture given by Puck and Julie. But there is some interesting information here. Some stuff said about Danny (New Orleans)... The article is a little old. Here it is.
Someone obviously gets voted out tonight... But do some people show major waterworks? Colin posted a entry in his Real World journal a day early. Check it out at Colin's World saying how people shouldn't cry. (Mostly the ladies.) But he also talks about Puck in there too. Could this be the episode where the girl that Puck likes so much, gets voted off, ensuing Puck madness??? Probably not... Because we still need to see Puck's wedding. But he may cry... Or he may be talking about Puck crying before... Or the girls crying tonight. We'll see nevertheless.
Could be completely wrong, could be completely right. Just like Abram this information was recieved by email and there is no real concrete evidence to back it up. A member of the Real World 13: Paris cast is Ace. His real name is Clyde. Ace went to Georgia State University and is an all around fun character. So fun that he even owns a couple of bars in Statesboro. Hailing orginially from Rome, GA , Ace is a addition to the cast that will be filled with all sorts of adventures. (As reported in the Statesboro Herald)

    Sunday, January 19, 2003

We've just recieved news on a Road Rules cast member. His name is Abram. Abram is a 20-year old kid from Livingston, Montana. As a child, Abram didn't know how to control his temper and anger. He went through some pretty tough times. He eventually graduated from high school after spending a semester in a National Guard program for at-risk youth. He said he has "learned to take that explosive energy and channel it into something positive," like snowboarding, camping, hiking, writing, painting or fishing.

(Note: Obviously, this all won't be confirmed until the season premieres.)
Are we dead? No... but the news is!! We had recieved information that a story is going to be ran in today's newspaper about a Real World Paris cast member from Statesboro, GA. It's supposed to be in the Statesboro Herald. If anyone has information about this story, email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com.

And I thought this was funny... It's sort of a reality television, six degrees of seperation kind of thing (not really)... Everyone knows how Mike is trying to go pro, wrestling for UPW. You can check out his bio here. Well, does everyone know Joe Millionaire, Evan Marriott? Well, apparently Evan was a part of the same wrestling school Mike is. Wouldn't it be weird to find an ex-Real Worlder on the WWE? Just like it would be weird if Lori actually auditioned for American Idol (She justifies the reason why she didn't go in her journal) and made it? I want to see one of these crossover things happen... (I'm just rambling now... Sorry, today's news day SUCKS!)

    Friday, January 17, 2003

All you Road Rules fans: Shane (Campus Crawl) put out a website that is not completely done yet. It's called shanelandrum.com. Nothing much yet but a bunch of pictures.

    Thursday, January 16, 2003

Rachel of San Francisco went on the View today as a co-host for reality TV day. She showed pictures of Sean and her two children Evita and Xavier. Is this a sign of things to come? Rachel competed for the spot left open when Debbie Matenopolois stepped down. The spot eventually went to Lisa Ling. (Lindsay (Seattle) also auditioned, but was deemed too young to fill in.) Rachel was part of the final three, but was not picked. Lisa Ling just left the View to pursue other opportunities. Is Rachel coming back??? They've been having a lot of guest hosts recently and they deemed her as one as well. I dunno. Maybe it was an audition...
HAPPY THIRD ANNIVERSARY TO PAUL AND DANNY OF THE REAL WORLD NEW ORLEANS!

Visit the site, Danny and Paul!

    Wednesday, January 15, 2003

Hello! The Real World: Las Vegas had their vacation episode last night. (Does anyone watch Real World anymore? With all this Battle of the Sexes stuff going on... Who can keep up??) So, Trishelle and Steven hit some sort of emotional low in their relationship. (Yes, it could get lower than what it was at.) Honestly, I can't believe that they didn't get the idea that they were on national television, doing those things, probably knowing they'd be criticized. Speaking of criticism, here's an article at EW.com... Right here. They do one every week on each episode. Good reviewer.

Also, we're getting news in about a guy who was chosen for The Real World: Paris. More information will come later this week, but we do know that he's from Statesboro, GA.

Blogger is being such a bastard... I keep trying to update the template and it hasn't been working for the past two days. So, I can't really upload that picture that's supposed to be up there. Bastards. Just venting my frustrations and letting everyone know.

    Tuesday, January 14, 2003

Melissa, Lori, and Colin all have their synopsis up from last night's episode! Read on!

(I had this longer post posted but stupid Blogger keeps deleting it.)

    Monday, January 13, 2003

Battle of the Sexes airs a new episode today. Interesting tidbit. You can keep up with Mike's wrestling career at his website. Rather than looking like The Real World, it looks like he's doing an episode of Tough Enough. Check it out at Mike's site.
Hello! Good day! New info for today. The Real World: Las Vegas was nominated for a People's Choice Award last night. Unfortunately, they lost (once again) to the cast of Survivor: Thailand. Fear Factor was also up for the award.

Melissa is back with her site after a long absence. She makes her first post about Julie... And even mentions our website in there, go check it out at Princess Melissa.

    That's it for today.

    Sunday, January 12, 2003

Just to all those people who emailed me about this: Julie has offended many with her latest post. Yes, I've noticed it and there has been an overwhelming response about Julie's post. No, it has nothing to do with Melissa's commentary. But with her casual generalizations of Hispanics. If you look at her journal, she makes some pretty discouraging comments at her journal when her favorite radio station is replaced with "Mexican music" sung by "Senor Lopez"...

If you want to see Melissa's new site design, its located here. The links don't work. Its simply her new design. Plus, a new addition to our list of links, is Pawel's site.

    Saturday, January 11, 2003

Julie posts what hopefully is the last rebuttal of this mess at her journal.

    Friday, January 10, 2003

Here's YOUR responses about the Melissa/Julie confronation. Unless any other new news has been posted by cast members (Lori added a small something on her website 1/9/2003), let us never, ever speak of this horrible incident again. (And please don't send us hate mail if we do... It's almost 100% likely that there will be follow up to this. :))

"My take on Julie, she seems so nice and i'm convinced she probably is, but to me when her and Melissa were arguing the look on her face looked as though Melissa was right, Julie looked flat out scuuured " Did I do anything to offend you yet..." " Are you finished? 'cause i was going to go down to the pool with Dan..." she was SCUUURED. And when Julie was talking about how she only has 3 days to prove to everyone that she isn't who they think they are...why is she so worried about that, if she had nothing to hide, why prove anything you know? She is a backstabber, didn't she learn anything in the Great Book Of Mormon? I dunno, but to me, i think the majority of these people who are chosen for the shows take their opportunity they've been given for granted, they bitch and moan, and cry when they don't get their way, geez man just be happy you got picked for the show, i liked it when Amaya said on BOTS " We are blessed that we've all been given this opportunity to win some money" and she is right, they have been blessed, so don't take it for granted. And Colin's ONLY famous words " As far as i'm concerned, we are the most luckiest 7 people on this planet right now, we have been given the gretest opportunity" RW HAWAII ok anyway, i hope we all get to see what will prevail with this whole Julie Melissa thing, and hope they get to be freinds again."

"Granted, Julie probably shouldn't have said anything if she wasn't for certain, but how can we take what any of these Real Worlders are saying about Julie as the truth. In Lori's commentary on the situation she blatantly says she's not 100% clear on the facts, but yet she talks about what occurred between Julie and Coral and other cast members. She even admits that she doesn't know Julie, and doesn't want to get to know her, because of Coral's and Melissa's dealings with her. So to say that Julie is disliked by Real Worlders is over blown, because they are basically going on information that happened between the two drama queens, and not even taking the time to listen to Julie's side. Which is totally understandable, because if Coral and Julie are your friends, you want to believe and support them. But if Julie did not do anything to you personally, I would not write or talk about a situation that I was not a part of. It just seems to me that this fight between Melissa and Julie is about money. Melissa and Coral felt they were robbed of money, and they told their friends about the situation in a dramatic fashion, because from watching their shows you know it only takes a little to get them to blow up. It's a fight that probably happens everyday with people in or out of the business, but this one was just played out on national TV."

"When I first saw the 1st epidode of the Battle of the Sexes, I hadn't heard anything about what had happened to Julie and Melissa after the show or anything, so I was pretty much under the impression that they were still good friends. When I saw their fight, I was really shocked to hear about what had happened between them, and I was sad too, cause they were such good friends on the show. When Julie was kick out the 1st episode, I was kinda shocked, cause I thought Melissa would look past her anger, and vote out someone at the bottom. When Melissa called her a B****, I really was like "What the heck happened after the show between them?" Then I read on this website something that Danny from New Orleans said about the situation, and based on what he said, I really don't know what to think. I was always in support of Julie, but after reading about how she supposedly wrote letters to colleges that dissed other Real World cast members, I can more understand what Melissa must have been feeling, and why she did what she did. If I were in Melissa's position, and what Julie did was true, I would be pissed off too, and I would try and get rid of her as soon as I could. At this moment, I think I am in support of Melissa, cause If more than one person is speaking about this, than there has to be some kind of truth to it.
I still kinda like Julie, just because she's one of my favorie cast members of all time on Real World, and it's hard to just stop liking her because I don't know the entire story, and also because I really just can't put myself in Melissa's shoes."

"Personally, I think Melissa had every right to want Julie gone, personal or not personal. Not only has Julie belittled Melissa in the past, but she acted innocent and blatantly lied to Melissa on the challenge. She practically spit in Melissa's face by claiming she didn't know what Melissa was talking about. I think Julie is personally a manipulator! I totally agree with you, no one from the Real World said 'Oh I don't think what Melissa did was right' it was Ellen and Christina mainly who had the problem. Personally, I find Julie to be very deceitful as well!!! She lies, along with contradicting herself constantly. And then she made it like she did the best in the challenge, when she didn't do that well. She wouldn't have been have been an asset to the team, because no one trusted her, and half the female didn't like her. If that's an asset then may lightning strike me now!"

"I personally have no reason to doubt Julie's integrity, and I believe her over Melissa. Julie had tons of college lectures, at one time her tour list was basically every day of every month for about 6 months straight. There's bound to be jealousy there. I personally know that Julie used to have a different booking agent - she worked with World Wide Talent Group BEFORE she had her mom do it (I know this because I won an item off her website, and in the phone call she gave me, I asked how I would go about getting her to come speak at my school, and she gave me that web address. The date of the call was January 9, 2001, which was also the premiere date of the Extreme Challenge.) Obviously, when she figured out her mom could do it without getting paid as much, it was a smart business move. Cooincidentally, Melissa now works with WWTG. When an agent has handled two cast members, it's very likely that, whether by accident or on purpose, the agent probably said something like "Melissa wants more then you can spend, but I know of someone else who can do it." Just because Julie was no longer working with them doesn't mean that her old agent wasn't still her friend. It all boils down to satisfying the client. If they want someone who signs autographs, and they want to spend less money, the agent is gonna try to fill their needs with the right cast member. Now, it's a proven fact that Julie was involved with the thing between Kelley and Melissa, and that was wrong of Julie, and it may have just caught up with her. I think that Melissa probably heard that Julie had called, when in reality it was one of the agents, and that Melissa jumped to conclusions and began rallying people against Julie. All of the cast members which have come forward are personal friends of either Melissa, or friends of Melissa's friends. Coral and Lori are both friends of Melissa, Mike is a friend of Coral and Lori. Colin says "allegedly" which shows that he doesn't know for himself. Danny probably said something as a result of the Kelley deal. That "person" that you know that knows the cast members is Danny's friend who runs his website (Editors Note: This is not true... JHune says that he takes the quote of my website. The author of this message also did retract the statement.). My quesiton is: if there IS hardcore proof against Julie, where is it? Why doesn't someone just publish the shit and get it over with? Melissa is known to get jealous, and even if she felt genuinely wronged, she looks like an asshole. That whole comment that Julie made in her rebuttal about "Sweetie, I already knew" makes perfect sense. It's obvious that they'd had words before this, and even Melissa's comment about "Julie missed her flight, and I would've told her beforehand" is stupid. Melissa didn't need to say anything, period, even though it did make for informing the public. I just think it's stupid. I posted on one of the message boards how even if people hated Julie before this challenge, they must admit that it is really sad to see a friendship get destroyed over money, and countless people replied agreeing, saying they thought Julie was annoying but they understood. In answering your question regarding the Playboy deal, if Julie did in fact "set Melissa up" it was probably out of anger. Now I know they both have anger, but I mean like anger "in the moment". And Julie posted in her journal because she didn't know she was gonna get to post at MTV.com . She wanted her two cents in, and if someone attacked my character I would reply too. Bottom line - I think that this is really the saddest, most stupid thing I've ever heard of coming between friends. Money is not that important - and they both make plenty by doing the things that they do. They both have TV shows, they both have websites, they both get college lectures. Melissa deliberately tried to start a fight in Jamaica, she even admitted it by saying that Julie said "Hi, Melissa" but that it was "fake" and that "set her off." I think Melissa needs to get over it and move on. I really hope this ends good. I wish they'd make up, but I know that probably won't happen."

Thanks guys for all your responses!
Incredibly amazing stuff. We sit here with jaws wide open when we hear about this stuff. Since the New Orleans show, only Danny and Melissa have come out with what they think of Julie. Add to the list Kelley and possibly Jamie... Kelley writes the following about Julie: (This just leaves out Matt and David)

"And with Melissa, things got so much better, It was really because of last year's book (the BTNY book) that we finally got it out in the open. We realized that there was something big between us: Julie. Melissa called me and read me things we'd said about each other. It was all, "Julie told me this" and "Julie told me that." We got Julie on the phone. She told us that she was just trying to help us get along. What? You tell one person the other person thinks crappy things about her? That's a helpful thing? I didn't believe her. Melissa, Jamie, and I are good friends now, and we could have been then. But there were too many lies flying around."

You can find this on the Danny and Paul website. We are going to post the emails later today.

Im getting some great responses about the Julie/Melissa confrontation. Keep sending them to newrwroad@hotmail.com. Even Danny comments about the Julie situation on his website Danny and Paul. (Scroll down after the long quote taken from our website.) To someone who knew BOTH castmembers before hand, it looks like Julie is still looking bad. I'm getting amazing responses by the way, keep them coming. I'll post them tomorrow and HOPEFULLY this will be the end of this mess.
Here's the first email that we are posting about the Julie/Melissa incident. Send in ur emails to newrwroad@hotmail.com and we'll post Pro-Melissa, Pro-Julie emails from both sides. We'd really like to hear your opinions on this.

"Jeez, what a war it HAS become.

Just wanted to write and say what I think about the whole thing. I am a HUGE RW/RR fan, and I have been following it since the first seasons. Though it is starting get ridiculously dumb, I still follow it, cause it is such a good dose of drama - haha.

This whole Julie and Melissa war is starting to get old, but I do have some opinions on it. I think MTV totally blew the whole thing out of proportion with its editing. I am 110% behind Melissa, because Julie has always seemed shady in my eyes too - through watching her on the RW, and even seeing her on other types of shows (interviews, college circuit stuff, etc…) I think that MTV made Melissa come off as a real asshole, when in reality she was just hurt, and wanted to tell Julie how she felt. She blew up the way she did because Julie came off looking like she had no idea what the hell she was talking about, when two seconds later she was talking about WHY Melissa was flipping out on her. Julie completely contradicts herself throughout EVERY single entire interview she makes.

I don't see how any person could see Julie as the good guy. If you look at Colin's, Lori's, and everyone else's comments about this whole thing, you see that Julie did/still does have ulterior motives, and that is just plain wrong. She hurt Melissa, along with a lot of other cast mates. I see where Melissa is coming from, because she thought Julie was a friend, as you could see from how close they were in NO.

And with the whole thing about Melissa turning everyone against Julie? That's poo. When Melissa confronted Julie, no one was in the room … except maybe Ayanna, and OBVIOUSLY, Ayanna knew the shit was gonna hit the fan, cause she ran like a bat outta hell. Ayanna and Julie were somewhat tight, so obviously, Julie informed Ayanna that people didn't like her, and things were going to be said to her. That is the way I see it - who knows if that is what really happened. Anyway … why would Melissa want to turn the whole damn cast against Julie? That is 3rd grade material. If you go on MTV.com and see the video that shows exclusive footage of the inner circle, you see that it is 2 minutes of them talking about why Julie shouldn't be on. Melissa said nothing. Genesis was the one saying why she should be voted off. Then you see the actual footage of the inner circle on the show, and that is another 2 minutes of deciding. Melissa only said, she personally wanted to see Julie voted off, and that was IT! According to everyone in the inner circle, it only took 5 minutes to decide. If you see the footage, Melissa really only said her piece about Julie in 30 seconds. Amaya, Aneesa, and Genesis made the decision after that. Melissa is too smart to go and pit everyone against Julie. She told Julie her piece and said what she had to say. Melissa can stick up for herself, she doesn't need everyone else support to know she hates Julie.

Anyway … I think I have said enough about this shenanigans. It is getting quite old, and I am sure everyone is sick of it by now, but that is my two cents. Look at the facts, Julie is a shady chick and Melissa just spoke her mind. That's all there is to it."

Julie posts her rebuttal to Melissa at MTV.com. Scary...

Here's some excerpts from the interview we had with Julie:

Q: You seemed like you were so on key during your season of Real World, and it seemed like you got along with everybody (well except David, sometimes), what happened between you and Melissa, you guys seemed like you were going to be friends for life. Is everything alright now between you two?

A: I DON'T TALK TO MANY RW KIDS NOW BECAUSE WE ALL LIVE FAR FROM ONE ANOTHER AND HAVE OUR OWN LIVES. PLUS THE REAL WORLD WAS LONG AGO.

Q: Why did you turn down the Playboy deal?

A: YOU COULDN'T GET ME TO DO PLAYBOY FOR ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD. THE MAGAZINE DOESN'T COINSIDE
WITH MY VALUE SYSTEM AND I THINK IT DEGRADES WOMEN TO JACK-OFF OBJECTS. INCIDENTALLY - THEY OFFERED OVER 50 G'S.

Q: Do you know who accepted it? or who else declined it?

A: I THINK MELISSA GOT OFFERED, SO SHE MIGHT DO IT. I DON'T KNOW ANYONE ELSE.

You make the call. It seems very suspcious with what Julie told us in the interview. Why would she lie about Playboy and deliberately set up Melissa like that? (Keep in mind, this is after Julie was booted from the Battle.) And the whole Real World alumni thing is really true. Lori comments about it on her website. How others (Not Melissa) avoid Julie and whatnot. Not that alumni live far apart. (She lives in Hungington Beach, a suburb of LA, which contains like 40 or 50 RW/RR castmembers)

Plus, read Julie's journal entries. They're kinda weird when she talks about the Battle. She says that she doesn't trash talk Melissa and doesn't care about the money. But at the end of the entry she tries to belittle her and makes comments about how good it was to be kicked off the Battle because she made more money playing with her band.

We want to hear your opinions, thoughts on this matter. This is big. There hasnt been a brew-ha-ha this big since Stephen slapped Irene. Email us at newrwroad@hotmail.com and tell us what you think! We are going to be posting messages! Thanks!

Catch this article by MSN stating that this incident (among others) signifies a renaissance of reality TV.

    DRAMA!

So many people have been asking about the Julie/Melissa thing. So many people want to know! Well, read Melissa's commentary over at MTV.com. She even mentions our website. Julie conducted an interview with us a couple of weeks ago and she told us that she was offered to do Playboy. When asked if anyone else is doing it, she commented that Melissa was offered and might do it. Well, we do have an inside source here close to cast members... Here's the brew-ha-ha:

"Here is what happened between Julie and Melissa. Melissa was 100% in the right to confront Julie and tell her off. Julie has been screwing Real World cast members for years now. She has even been caught writing emails degrading other cast members, so she gets the appearances before the others. Some universities have even forwarded emails they received from Julie on why they should book her over Melissa as well as other cast members. She would usually just tell lies to steal the appearances from other cast members. As well, the school they were arguing about in the episode happened like this.

The school called Julie first directly and asked her to speak. Julie wanted a higher fee then what RW cast members usually get. When Julie heard they were also trying to book Melissa and that Melissa charges the accurate fee, Julie started talking shit on her to the school and even put it in writing, saying Melissa was not a good speaker, curses frequently in her appearances and will not sign autographs and is all in all rude. Now this could not be further from the truth. Melissa as well and most cast members do triple the amount of appearances then Julie does, and Julie has such a bad reputation at the colleges that her speaking days are limited. Julie has also been know to charge I believe 10 dollars for an autograph picture of herself and up to $100 dollars for a simple interview with her. And this has been documented!!

The fact that Melissa said something to Julie was just because; Melissa is the only one with a pair of balls to expose Julie. She has screwed so many people at this point, if she stayed on the Challenge others would have come forward to chat with her. Other cast members even decided to not participate in the Challenge because Julie was doing it. It you really watch last nights episode, the only people who really protect Julie are people who don't know her, which were Road Rules cast members. As well, the fact that Julie just sat there with that dumb look on her face is because she knew it was coming and Melissa was just the first to do so. In reality the "Inner Circle" took not even 5 minutes to vote Julie off, but they didn't show that.

Also I'd like to point out that Melissa was working with her booking agent the second she got off the show. While she was minding her own business Julie was immediately off filming The Extreme Challenge, hence not working on the college lecture circuit. This idea that Julie "helped" Melissa out, and that Melissa made thousands of dollars with her help is an outright lie. Melissa did maybe two jobs with Julie, discovered there was something dishonest going on with her money and never worked directly with Julie as her "friend" again. Melissa was one of the first cast members from New Orleans to do the college lecture circuit, and does so with professionalism and integrity. Her anger is a direct response to being lied to, lied about and misrepresented.

Julie's booking agent is her own mother. That explains why she claims her agent "works so hard for her." They make the money together!"

This is what Lori said about the situation on her website:

"All of a sudden, I’m surrounded by faces I’ve only seen on TV in the years of watching the show, and I have to tell you, it was strange and exciting. I gave everyone a hug (like a true fan – feeling like I already know them), and walked around confused and weirded out. I saw Tonya who was so excited to see me because we had talked a bit when we were both in NYC a few weeks before. The TV doesn’t lie, that girl’s body is just ridiculous. Luckily, I knew Melissa already, but people were telling me that I fight between her and Julie had already occurred. “Before we got here??” I asked.

Apparently so. I knew that was going to happen. Melissa and I had already discussed it on the phone. Julie’s fan club didn’t so much exist in Jamaica. It’s the truth. There were very few who liked her, very few who trusted her, and everyone had either had a previous bad experience or had been forewarned about her, and NOT by Melissa. Julie’s sketchiness is well known in the world of BMP types, and this was the first I met her. I’m not good at hating people I don’t know personally. I’m not good at being mean to someone when I haven’t witnessed something fucked up first hand. And if Julie is truly as bad as everyone swears, then the girl is DAMN good at what she does because she comes of really genuine and really sweet to me. Melissa said, “You can’t see through that bullshit?” I reminded her that she didn’t see through it in the year she was friends with her during New Orleans. She agreed. I’ve never known a true liar and manipulator. A good one has you constantly buying their shit (just like the best players seem like the sweetest guys and not creepy at all). Well, I bought her shit, and I know I trust easily and give people the benefit of the doubt – so I just steered clear of her to avoid having to be on one side of the situation or another."
