Remember Susie (Australia)? Well, several people have emailed me about an update on her in the Pittsburgh area. This particular bit comes from a fan, Karen. Well, Susie is now working the comedy circuit as she is working on her career as a stand-up comedianne. Susie, a comedianne? Well, yeah. It's been a while since Australia days. (Susie is now 23 years of age...) Shortly after her return home from Australia, Susie visited Timmy (USA Tour 2) in Los Angeles. After her trip out there, she was engaged to Timmy... But since then they have broken up. Word is that Susie is actually married and may have a child. She is also working on a pilot for FOX. Good luck to Susie!

Steven (Las Vegas) is hosting the latest episode of Say What? Karaoke. I wasn't sure about this... But I don't know if he's hosting or he's a judge or whatnot. I know that Ashley Simpson, Jessica Simpson's younger sister who appears on 7th Heaven was supposed to be a part of the show. Nevertheless, check it out, starting today on MTV.
So here's the news about the site I promised yesterday! We got a domain name! Yes! We are no longer going have to live under the cjb.net and the blogspot.com names! We have our own DOT COM! Want to check out the domain name? It's going to be at:

Julie (New Orleans) changed her post from Melissa from my real world to a girl I know from tv... This is the second time that she's taken Melissa's name off her diary and replaced it with "girl". Check it out here.
Sarah (The Campus Crawl) recently says on her diary that she's going out of town soon. Hmm.... When a castmember says that they're going out of town = Going on the Challenge. When Battle of the Sexes was airing, she made a comment that she was checking out websites to see when the next Challenge was going to be, because she wanted to do it. Is Sarah going to show up in Newport and compete for $300,000? We will soon find out. (Thanks to Dana for that)

If there's one thing about this new Challenge that is for certain: The outcome will not be a surprise. Filming in exotic locales or travelling around places, we usually do not know what's going on with the Challenge once it begins filming. Usually, castmembers reveal tidbits about what will happen, who gets voted off, who wins. Well, this next seventh installment of the Challenge seems to be holding no secrets.
The seventh season of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge will begin filming on June 27 in Newport, Rhode Island. They are filming in a "castle-like" mansion called Ivy Tower. The word is 28 castmembers (14 from Real World, 14 from Road Rules) will be competing at the Tower for consecutive weeks until someone wins $300,000. The mansion is located at 533 Bellevue Ave in Newport. Newport residents are actually welcoming the Challenge, citing a need for tourism. They are actually going to start construction on the house, putting a pool on the premises. MTV has already begun scouting out places for missions such as Newport Harbor, Fort Adams, and Navy facilities. If you live in Newport, get ready for MTV. Check out the article, here. You have to register, but I included all the information so you don't have to. Thanks to Marlena for the information.
Some interesting information about the location of the house that's not included in the article. It's a stone's throw away from Salve Regina University (a Catholic liberal arts college), so expect to see some college students on the show. There are several parks in the vicinity and you can see the ocean from the house. Long Island and Providence are not far away. Should make for some interesting television. The house actually sold for 2.9 million dollars a few months ago, so you can imagine how huge this house will be. Here's an aerial image of the house taken from a satellite. Not very clear, but you can imagine what the grounds will be like.
NOTE: I have been just given notification that RealityTVWorld has images of the house taken from a real estate website.

So... drama revisited... This is going to be a LONGGGGGGGG post...
Anyway, I wasn't even aware of this until a fan named MSMusic emailed this along to me. It just strikes me as WEIRD. Plain and simple. Not Melissa... But Julie. So a couple of days ago, Coldplay, the band was in Los Angeles. Apparently, both Julie and Melissa (New Orleans/BOTS) visited the concert. It's about the Julie/Melissa drama. If you don't want to read this, skip down to the next post which is about Road Rules. Here's Melissa's entry about the show:
"Sunday afternoon, I was screening calls. You know, sometimes you just can’t take calls. It’s Sunday. I’m waiting for that Jerry’s Famous Deli to hurry up and deliver and I want my Six Feet Under finale. Tangent: Doesn’t that girlfriend of Jayson Blair, the fabricating ass reporter at The New York Times look just like Lili Taylor? That’s where Lisa went! So, I get a message from an old friend, a blast from the past. In it, he says cryptically, “Give me a call back. I’ve got a question…” You see, he has mastered the art of getting me to call back. You can’t say, “I have a question.” And you especially can’t say that after I haven’t spoken to you in 19 years. So, I tried to hold off, wait a couple hours, so as to seem like when he called I actually was busy. I so wasn’t and I’m such a perpetrator. I said “tried to hold off” meaning, I called him back in 20 minutes.
After a weird segue into the actual invitation, he said, “I bought these Coldplay tickets six months ago, and totally forgot about them. Would you like to go? It’s tomorrow…” What a great day, man! Free tickets to Coldplay and I don’t have to drive or park! Why, yes, I’d love to go. During the course of the concert, I felt like I was in an episode of A Dating Story, even though I didn’t think or even know this was, in fact, a date. Was it a date? It couldn’t be! I said, “What’s up homie…” when he came to get me and I don’t think that’s proper date etiquette. Plus, he was 40 minutes late picking me up. Perhaps he didn’t think it was a date either with such reckless abandonment of the time. Time the f*** out! Before we carry on with this story, know that I know how dumb it is to speculate about whether or not a planned event with a dude, that is a friend, is a date. I know it's a hang out thing, I'm just saying. I’m a grown ass lady, I know. And yes, I’m about to tell a story like I am not the person telling the story thus using my own name in third person, a practice I hate in real life.
So, I present The Dating Story featuring Gary* and Melissa.
Gary is a working actor in Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and staining his mantle. He is both genuine and nice – two strikes against him already, as we all know girls love assholes for some reason. Will he finish last? His turnoffs: Tall, mean girls. His turn-ons: Short, nice ones. Melissa is a geek off the streets that isn’t really keen on this whole dating situation, as you will see. Her turn-offs: Dudes that use hair products excessively, lisps (sorry), improper use of homophones and anybody that says “for all intents and purposes”. Her turn-ons: I don’t know that she uses that terminology. (Gary doesn't have a lisp, and he doesn't use lots of gel and he knows the difference between peace and piece.) On this date, we’ll see the band Coldplay, and more importantly we hope to see a Miss Gwyneth Paltrow swaying side to side with her eyes closed, perhaps a lighter in hand, “feeling” her boyfriend’s love through his music.
Before the alleged date, Gary calls Melissa. She is in the waiting room at a doctor’s office with her friend Coral. She steps outside to take the call. Gary asks, “What kind of food do you like? At The Hollywood Bowl, everyone usually picnics.” Melissa responds with, “Oh wow. Okay. Um. I don’t really like food that is supposed to be hot but just can’t be because you know, it’s been in a basket all day. I like fruit. May I have some seedless grapes, a mango or two, some sliced watermelon? I also like candy. No blue candy or sour candy though.” Now that Melissa has given the impression that she eats candy for breakfast and is the most negative person alive, she ends the call with, “So, is 6 still good for the swoop-me-up?” He now says she must be ready by 5:45 p.m. but says “a quarter to” which is another small, not devastating, peeve of Melissa’s. Why can’t it just be 5:45? This is not good, but she happily agrees. She goes back into the doctor’s office, recounts the story to Coral who says, “Well, shit what are we going to do to your hair? Did you ask for some chicken? I like chicken.” At this point, the two nix the flat-ironing session, and Melissa says, “Nobody cares about your predilection for chicken, man” as she points to her messy bun of knotty hair.
It’s now 6:17 p.m. and Gary calls Melissa. “Hey, I’m late” he says. We all know this. He says it will be another 10 minutes. Blind Date is on the TV and so it’s hard to actually care that he’s late.
Oh wait, I’m forgetting the outfit decision part of A Dating Story. Coral says, “Oh God, I need to see his outfit…” I say, “Yeah, I hope he’s not wearing bowling shoes or a Coldplay t-shirt…” Melissa opts for a precious long red skirt that she’s worn on television more than a few times (ewww) and a nude colored camisole tank top. She would normally wear heels, but there’s climbing and walking involved, and since this isn’t a date, she wears her nice flip-flops. She packs a pashmina, a pack of Starburst and some lip gloss. Gary shows up, late as can be, with an acceptable t-shirt and some acceptable jeans on. When Melissa looks in the back seat, she sees a jean jacket draped across the seat. She asks about the weather and whether or not she’ll be okay with just a pashmina and he says, “If you get cold, I’ve got that jacket.” She says, “You weren’t planning on wearing that jean jacket yourself, were you? You know denim on denim is punishable by like, death right?” He says, “I totally know that. I’m wearing this” and he points to a brown leather coat. Okay. They’re in business.
They park 768 miles from the destination. They walk through Hollywood & Highland, only the biggest tourist attraction this side of the Mississippi. Melissa is clearly embarrassed that people are shouting, “Ruthie!” and “Real World. Fuck yeahhhhhhhhhh!” as she passes through. Gary acts as if this is okay, and he understands. After all, he is in every deodorant and hardware store commercial on TV. Did you catch him on 24? You may have seen him on The Parkers or 8 Simple Rules. If you didn’t see him there, you probably saw him in a movie about college kids doing outrageous things. He’s been the wacky innkeeper and the haphazardly goofy detective. You’ve seen him. Hey, they even see Marcellas from Big Brother going down the escalator as they are going up. “Hi Marcellas! Did you see our pictures from Norm’s party?” she asks. Marcellas smiles and waves and they agree to call each other. Gary wonders aloud whether or not these reality TV people are in a cult.
They have trouble finding their seats. Aisle U Row 3 Seats 13 and 15. What happened to seat 14? They find the seats, make jokes about the opening band, and Gary pulls out that said picnic basket. Not too shabby. He’s got cherries, strawberries, grapes, wine, cheese, chocolate, crackers and even some napkins. He admits there’s a part of him that is “gay.” Melissa doesn’t know how to respond, so she just says, “Yeah, so um, have you ever seen The Ring, man?”
Coldplay begins. He yells, “Yeah!” She sits Indian style waiting for the songs she knows. She sings along, sips her wine, collects their garbage (it’s so terrible to litter in an outdoor establishment) and they have fun.
Gary’s Post Interview: I think Melissa is, for all intents and purposes, a nice girl. She’s a little negativo, if you know what I mean. She’s okay, I guess. I kept telling her she was super tiny. I don't know if that went over well. I like her earrings. She’s not normally my type. I like bubbly blondes, but she’s cool I think? She told me to say nice stuff about her. Can we start this over?
Melissa’s Post Interview: Yeah, man, Gary is good people. He is a picnic basket-packing fiend. I appreciated those fresh cherries. Coldplay was cool. Somebody was smoking some weed in our section. Did you smell that? I’d hang out with Gary again. I mean, when he’s not too busy acting his ass off. He’s been in hella shit, man. He’s got a resume for days. That’s really cool for him. A working actor. Ain’t that some shit? Hey, are you going to edit out that part where I nearly fell on the way to the bathroom? That Merlot had some kick, huh? I can’t really come strong with footage like that floating around. You know, you look out for me, I look out for you…
The screen at the end of this Dating Story reads: Gary called Melissa the next day. Will he be left in the Cold? Or will he get some Play? They’ve yet to set another date…
*Names have been changed so that I can write with true poetic license and so that my friend “Gary” won’t actually hate me after he reads this. Hi Gary. I truly did have a most wonderful time at Coldplay. Coldplay! Yeah! I must say the offering of the jean jacket was super duper nice."
So that's hers. She seemed to get every detail in. (Even some Real World fans recognizing her.) Now, here's Julie's entry:
"The other day, Gabe took me to see Coldplay in Hollywood. It was such a good show! We had a great time. While we were there, I saw Melissa from my real world behind us. It was at a distance but I was pretty sure it was her. I decided I wanted to go say hi because I feel bad that things got all messed up between us. While we were in Jamaica, I think she tried to apologize off camera by one of the vans, but I just walked away. Then Jamie told me she felt bad, and I felt like a total jerk. I know it was a big messy misunderstanding, but I should have been more open to talk about it at the time, even if it had to be off camera. I guess at the time I resented that she said a bunch of bad stuff about me on camera, but then wanted to make it right off camera. I guess I shouldn't have been thinking like that. After all, it doesn't matter what happens on the silly show. What matters is leaving things un-discussed.
Anyway, so I figured that by now it would be cool for me to say hi and see how she's doing. Since we are both probably over it, I figured maybe I could get her # or something and call her, so I got up and started walking over there. She was talking to the boy she was with. Suddenly these two punk kids snuck up behind her. One of them spit in her hair, and then they ran off laughing. I didn't know what to do. I thought about saying something, but instead I just went back to my seat. I felt pretty bad about it. It sucks that some people are so rude. Luckily, I don't think she noticed, but still.
I wish I'd still said hi at least, but after the whole hair spitting thing, I felt weird. It made me realize how powerful the media can be. These two kids don’t even know her, but they think that it’s okay to spit on her just because of something they saw on TV. It’s sad every time people come up to me and tell me that so-and-so from the show sucked. I just wish people could understand that just because someone does something on the show, it doesn’t necessarily reflect who they are. It was dumb. I should have said something. Oh well, I figure I'll probably run into her again, I hope. It's probably okay though. Just in case she is still all worked up about hating me, I didn't want to put a damper on the concert for her. Coldplay was really good. I've never really been to a show like that before. It was mellow, but still really full of energy. I don't usually go to really big concerts, but I was really glad Gabe took me to Coldplay. It was a good time."
OK, a couple of things wrong with Julie's entry. We know from the show (Melissa's line about how the only way she can have fun was to send the bi*$( home.) and other things (Melissa's messages on her site, more than six months later after leaving Jamaica, still blasting Julie about her lecture appearances, that Melissa did not feel bad about the way she treated Julie. Melissa never had second thoughts about singling Julie out. Julie even makes it seem that she was the instigator back in Jamaica in this article. Now here's the thing:
The person who emailed me about this saw Melissa at the concert. They were right behind her. This person had Melissa in eyesight the whole time and they can verify that no one ever spit in Melissa's hair. This isn't the first time there's been a spat between these two. Everyone's familiar with Julie and the college circuit issue from the show. What people don't know is that there has been an online spat since the Battle ended. Julie has posted things about Melissa that Melissa didn't like. Coral (Back to New York) even got into the mix when Julie wrote something about her review of BOTS castmembers at MTV.com. Julie even told us in an interview that Melissa was going to pose in Playboy. Then she referred to people who pose in Playboy as "jack-off objects".
Interesting. Check out both of their sites: Julie and Melissa.

If you've been out of the loop... We'll sorry. Let's recap: This weekend has been a weekend dedicated exclusively to the Road Rulers as we have found out everything about them (including new additions to the cast).
Donell was arrested last month. It's unclear what the charges are against him exactly, but he was booked on assault and battery. Tina Barta and Chris Graebe are both two replacements that were added to the cast. Supposedly they are supposed to replace Cara and Abram. (Rachel and Shane (Campus Crawl) said three Roadies would be gone by season's end. However, it is unclear whether or not another Roadie will be added.) This means that we have all the Roadies last names... except for Dave...
And speaking of Chris from South Pacific... Apparently he's an aspiring actor and singer and is hoping that Road Rules brings him to the forefront of fame. We did a little sluething and apparently he's registered the domain, www.chrisgraebe.com. He also started a Yahoo! group which you can find here. Check out his group. It has pictures of him and the cast picture from MTV.com.
We have very exciting news about the site. The Blog is growing! We are very excited! However, due to some unresolved issues, we can't exactly reveal small details. Don't worry, we've been given the green light and we're going to tell you in the next 48 hours! Very exciting news!
And I thought some people would like to know about this. But the search engine on the left side of the page (under all the links) that we added the other day is getting some very heavy use. And the most searched for castmember in the blog: Ace (Paris).
The links to the fan sites that we published the day before are:

Apparently, the new castmember to replace the missing female Road Ruler is none other than Tina Barta from Lincoln, Nebraska. Here is a photo of Tina: (she is the one at the far right in the black)
Obviously, nothing is confirmed at this point. but apparently she has been telling people that she will show up on the show later this month. She apparently has the pictures to prove it as well. I guess we'll see if that's right when the show premieres.

The last person that we learned of having a criminal past was Frank (Las Vegas)... Now add Donell (South Seas) to that list. Donell was booked in Wakefield, Massachuttes two months ago on assault and battery charges. No official details on what exactly happened, but he was arrested by police. Thanks to Ex-Man for that. (NOTE: Frank was arrested back before Real World Las Vegas even began for defecating a frat house. Yes, I said defecating. The Smoking Gun was the one the reveal this about Frank's prank.
And ouch! In a poll taken from Days of Our Lives fans about the new actor portraying returning character Philip Kiriakis on the show... An astounding 54% of fans said they hated Kyle's (Chicago) portryal of Kiriakis, while 24% also said they were indifferent. A minority of only 21% agreed with the decision to cast the new actor in the daytime soap.

On an additional note: I will be summarizing the sites that I add on on the main content of the page (right here) as I add them on. (Only for this first week.) That will be done daily or as often as time permits.

We're getting unconfirmed reports, and I do say unconfirmed, that Lindsay (Seattle) is leaving her job at 100.5 in Atlanta. She was DJing there for a couple of years on the Bert Show, a highly successful early morning talk show. It is unclear why she would leave. She has been an entertainment reporter for CNN for about a year and a half now. And recently, she began reporting more often. This does coincide with the beginning of this summer's new Battle... Is Lindsay a part of it? However, not jumping to conclusions... She's probably leaving the Bert Show just to do more work with CNN. More later...
NOTE: Someone emailed in confirming that Lindsay is in fact leaving the Bert Show. It was announced a week ago and her last day is June 10. She struggled with the decision and she decided to leave. She is moving to Tampa, Florida (original home of New Orleans' Melissa and The Quest's Jisela) to work on TV. The CNN national HQ are actually in Atlanta, so is doubtful that she is leaving to work full time at CNN. And that nixes any thought about her leaving to be on the Battle. Thanks to the fan who notified us. (And another fan has just notified us, telling us she will be part of an entertainment show in Tampa. He also notes that she will have a good-bye party on the 12th and her final day is actually the 18th, not the 10th. Thanks to Kyle for that!)
And speaking of Battle news and such... What is particularly interesting is Kristin's new article on E!Online. She is holding a contest where she is going to give away Norman's (New York) movie, the Wedding Video away. But she also mentions several new people added to the Battle cast and where it will be. From the Real World side, she mentions people we have already reported on: Matt (New Orleans), Coral (Back to New York), and Trishelle (Las Vegas). But she also adds into the mix, Norman (New York), Malik (Back to New York), Nathan (Seattle), Timmy (USA Tour 2), and Theo (Maximum Velocity Tour). (No mention of Mike (Back to New York) or Katie (The Quest) who were both said to have signed on...) Se adds in rumors to the mix saying that it will no longer be seasons against seasons or male against female. It's going to take on a different turn. She also adds that when a Real Worlder and a Road Ruler get voted off at the same time, they will compete and the loser will go home. (Battle of the Shows maybe?) And apparently it's every man or woman for themselves. These are all rumors and have yet to be confirmed.
And where is this going to be filmed? Some exotic, foreign location? Well... no. It's going to be filmed in none other than Newport, Rhode Island. May be because of the rumor flying around (originated by cast member's on their websites) that there will be another Challenge filmed in September and BMP might not be wanting to wasting money on all those overseas flights, saving it for another season to be filmed immediately after this summer's installment wraps up. That's it!
Oh yeah, here's the link!
And speaking of when the Challenge will start filming: Very soon: Matt (New Orleans) just posted a good-bye of his sorts at his site, saying that he'll be gone for four weeks. Ooh! Exciting news!
And some Paris news... Seems that Ace has been a fan of the Real World for a long time. When New York first aired in 1992 (when Ace was only 11 years old...), he was an instant fan of the show and knew that he would be on it one day. He's also know as "King of Cancun 2000", in that infamous stunt where those couples on MTV Spring Break donned nothing but whipped cream on their ya-yas to compete for a grand prize. Check out the article

This is kinda interesting: This article talks about the Real World: Paris kids stay in France and how they reacted to it. It talks about the neighborhood, where they worked, the war situation (and how they let the kids watch a tape of Bush's address to the American people.) It's from the LA Times.
And you'd think BMP would stay out of Chicago after filming the Chicago season with a murder on their doorstep and having protestors harass the cast throughout filming. However, BMP went to Chicago's upscale Gold Coast neighborhood to film their new series, Starting Over. (They filmed Real World in the artsy Wicker Park section of Chicago.) Now, instead of protesting against them... Gold Coast is suing BMP, read the article.

Ever wonder what happened to Timmy after he came home from Cabo? Well, he's hosting his new show this summer on the History Channel. His series, called "Guts and Bolts", is loosely based on a web site called "How Stuff Works." He investigates how different things work on the show.
Among the projects that he'll be investigating, is how a taser works (and he uses it on himself). And how FedEx-ing works (He Fed-Exs himself from California to Pittsburgh.) Look for Timmy to come up on that later.

Paris premiered last night and sentiment is good for the Real World. Many people love this new cast. (It is a definite change from the tawdry Las Vegas season... I mean if Brynn would've bitten Steven on the ass, he would've loved it.) Anyway, the rest of the season looks like it's going to be great.
Meanwhile, you can check out an article on Mallory at the Sun-Times here. It gives a little background on her dad. Speaking of dads, I got an email saying that Adam's father is William King of the Commodores. It's pretty much confirmed that his father was in the Commodores... We have actually confirmed his last name is King. Adam was a part of Stanford's Yell Leaders and they confirmed his last name is King.
So castmembers last name are:
Mallory Snyder
Clyde "Ace" Amerson
Adam King
Christina Pyle
Abram Boise
Marybeth Decker
Chris Graebe
Donell Langham (Thx Walsh)

Premieres tonight at 10pm ET on MTV
Interesting, interesting. Go over to Colin's (Hawaii) site and read about his dispute with "Cambodia" (From The Real World: Chicago). He uses the psuedo name of "Cambodia", but if you read on, you can tell that it's Cara. (He knows Tonya and Aneesa and Keri never appeared on Jenny Jones talking about eating disorders.) It's quite funny and for some reason, Colin has beef with Cara. Go to his site. It's in the news entries section.

Sorry for the delay in updates! It's a long story, with too little space to tell!
Anyway, People Magazine recently announced that Kelley (New Orleans) will get married. Not to Peter, her beau, while on the show... But none other than Party of Five's Bailey (aka Scott Wolf). The two started dating shortly after Kelley returned from Cabo San Lucas, filming Battle of the Seasons. Congratulations to Kelley and Scott!
Apparently, Arissa (Las Vegas) did pose for Playboy. However, what we do not know is if the issue will show up. It is has been noted that Trishelle (Las Vegas) and Katie (The Quest) who were both said to pose have pulled out. And the correct link to Trishelle's fan club is right here.
Several people have seen Shane (Campus Crawl) at the Kiss 108 concert and he actually told the crowd that we would be seeing more of Shane soon. He also mentioned Tuesday as the day we'd be seeing him. It's unclear on whether or not we'll see him on MTV or another network. Thanks to Wendy and Smiley for that.
Kristin from E! Online has posted her Road Rules column, like she promised. She gives juicy, juicy tidbits: Cara, who was absent from Kristin's foray as a Road Ruler, is supposed to be a major source of conflict this season. Marybeth and Dave do get together by season's end. And although it may seem that Donell isn't the friendliest Road Ruler, he does get accepted by the group. Here's the link to the article. The new name of the Road Ruler who replaces Abram is Chris Graebe. Thanks to Fly for that.

Thanks to Bebez and Jason for this... According to the Boston Herald, the fourteenth season of The Real World will take place in none other than San Diego. The Real World will return to California after leaving Los Angeles and San Francisco back in 1993 and 1994. California has regained its title as the state having the most Real World seasons after New York tied that record back in 2000 with Back to New York. There is an infinite amount of potential for the San Diego... Considering the house could be placed anywhere from Mission Beach to La Jolla... Stay tuned for more. Here's the link to the article.
Kristin from E! Online went on a mission with the Road Rulers BUT, apparently a new person was there. I'm getting conflicting reports on who wasn't there and who was there. However, from what I understand... There were only five Road Rulers there. Donell, Dave, Marybeth, Christena and a new castmember named Chris. (So this means that Abram is one of the one's to leave...) Kristin said a long time ago that one of the girls was missing when she went over to New Zealand... However, the reason for her absence is unclear.

Hope you've had a great Memorial Day Weekend... Road Rules premiered last night.
The Real World XIII Launch Special will air today. A casting special of sorts... Be ready to get introduced to the cast, who Jon Murray, producer of the show, calls a throwback to the old days of the Real World, where they didn't just rely on the crazy antics of the cast for ratings.
And apparently Trishelle and Katie have backed out of the Playboy deal entirely. No word why. Or whether or not Arissa will still pose in the magazine. This comes from Trishelle's online fan club.
Melissa was on the Montell Williams Show this weekend. She was promoting her show Girls Behaving Badly on the Oxygen Network.
And E! is airing a special this Wednesday night. It shows the reality television cast members who's 15 minutes are up. It airs at 9pm Eastern Time. Be sure to catch some of your favorite Real World cast members.

So you know how 8 girls from the show did, Playboy? So, you may be thinking... Well, what about the guys? It seems that Playgirl has been trying to actively recruit male castmembers of The Real World and Road Rules to do a pictorial in Playgirl. Of those who has been offered is Mike (Back to New York). It is unclear on WHO has been asked, but they've been looking for people since Veronica, Jisela, Flora, and Beth first posed.
Thursday, May 22, 2003
In her June newsletter for her fan club, Trishelle (Las Vegas) reveals that both Katie (The Quest), Mike, and Coral (Back to New York) will be taking part of the new challenge this summer. Now, Trishelle, Katie, Mike, and Coral will also join Theo (Chicago) and Matt (New Orleans) in this summer's Challenge. To join the fan club, go here.
And joining the ranks of former alumni like Trishelle, is Mary Beth (South Pacific). Yes, Mary Beth is posing for Playboy. She actually revealed this information on the casting special for South Pacific, but you can see her page at Playboy here. Trishelle, Katie (The Quest), and Arissa (Las Vegas) will all be appearing in a summer edition of Playboy. Veronica (Semester At Sea), Jisela (The Quest), Flora (Miami) and Beth S. (Los Angeles) all posed in Playboy last year. Thanks to Jason for that.

For those of you worried about Melissa's site being gone for good... Don't worry. Melissa's website recently ran out its lease over its domain and the site was temporarily down. The domain was updated a few days ago and should be up and running soon!
Meet (from L to R) Adam, Mallory, Ace, Leah, Chris, Christina, and Simon: The cast of The Real World 13: Paris

Some info on who's sharing a room: Ace and Christina will be sharing a room. Chris or CT (as he is called on the site) and Adam will be sharing a room. Mallory, Leah, and Simon will be sharing a room. And they also have an interesting part of the website called The Real World Personality Quiz. They basically give you your own bio as if you were a castmember. But they also equate you to one of the Paris castmembers. And who are you most likely to hook up with and fight with. Very interesting.

Kristin at E-Online also had to say this about this season of Road Rules:
"It actually starts next Monday, May 26, I believe. And it sounds juicy--lots of drama and tension and yes, voting off. As some of you know, I was in New Zealand about a month ago and did a week of Road Rules with five other reporters--including a mission. You can see me in all my reality-TV glory (and humiliation) on E! News Live Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m., on E! And the next upcoming column will have the lowdown on my trip, the new cast and everything you don't know about Road Rules.
And she also mentioned that the Real Worlders will be working as writers for a travel guide book on Paris. And she mentioned that every single person in the house is single (except for Simon who found a boyfriend shortly before coming on the show.)

Shane and Rachel (Campus Crawl) just introduced the world to the cast of Road Rules: South Pacific... And now... they reveal a bit of information... Not one, not two, but three people will be kicked off Road Rules this season. This means that Road Rules: South Pacific will match The Real World: Los Angeles as the biggest casts. (They both have nine castmembers.) The reason why three people are being kicked off is because the way that production set up the game this year. Once the group fails two missions, they HAVE to kick off a fellow castmember. There are no individual prize missions, just one final handsome reward. Looks like there will be major nudity, tension, and a potential fight (between Donnell and Abram) You don't want to miss this!
South Pacific
Tonight at 10:00pm ET
Watch as Abe, Cara, Christena, Dave, Donnell, and Marybeth get chosen for the trip of a lifetime.
And today is the last day to turn in tapes for Real World 14. All casting calls have been announced (ending in early June in Riverside, CA). Go to the Casting Page to see all dates.
Kit (USA Tour 1) will be taking part in ABCs hit daytime talk show, The View. She will co-host this Wednesday with the four regular hosts. To see airtimes, go to The View's Website. There have been other Real World/Road Ruler types who have actually went to co-host that show. Lindsay (Seattle) actually tried out for the spot left empty by Debbie Matenopolous. But once they tried her out, they deemed her too young. Rachel (San Francisco) actually made it to the finals with two other women, but eventually lost the spot to the now split Lisa Ling. Kit herself works at FOX where she is a correspondent for the news magazine, The Pulse and were she used to be co-host of Celebrity Journal. She's now married.
For those of you looking for information about the Real World 14... Well, it seems like they're doing this season a tad bit early. This season will be filmed in August of 2003. This is a bit early on the schedule for BMP. The only season to be filmed in mid-year like this was Chicago, when Bunim-Murray tried to avoid the wintery-windy season by having it in the summer months instead of winter. Usually, BMP films each season of the Real World beginning in January through March. This can give a hint to the locale that they are choosing for next season. An unfavorable place for Season 14? BMP will most likely announce the spot in an official press release, but many people think it will be a Texas city this time around.
And also, want to see a picture of Mallory from Paris? Valerie sent us a link of Mallory at the Iowa State soccer website.
The Real World Gnome is getting pictures like crazy. If you haven't signed up for MTVs postcards from the Gnome... go to MTV.com and do it. There's interesting pictures like an exterior shot of "the Real World Chateau". There's more promised to come!

Meet Ace, Adam, Chris, Simon, Mallory, Christina, and Leah as they hit Paris. We actually reported to you in January that Ace was a castmember of the Real World and Abram a castmember of Road Rules. The following descriptions of castmembers comes from Zap2it.com.
Ace, 24, fancies himself an entrepreneur and is co-owner of three bars around Georgia Southern University -- where he's currently a sixth-year senior. He's also coming off a recent breakup.
Adam, 23 is the son of an R&B singer who was often on the road. He grew up in Beverly Hills and graduated from Stanford, and he wants to follow his dad into the music business. He hasn't yet found that special girl.
Chris, 22, has "dark good looks" and a "mysterious nature," which means he's "never lacking when it comes to women." He's also a senior at the University at Massachusetts who works as a bartender and is close to his family.
Christina, 24, majors in criminal justice at UNLV and is helping to pay for college by working as a Vegas cocktail waitress. The daughter of a Korean mother and a German father, she lived in a number of different places when her stepdad was in the military.
Leah, 22, is a Long Island princess used to getting what she wants. She likes attention, knows how to get into parties and is pursuing a fashion career after graduating from the University of Maryland.
Mallory, 19, is the virgin of the group. She gave up a soccer scholarship at Iowa State to take part in "The Real World," and she's ready to experience things outside her previously regimented life.
Simon, 18, is the youngest of the group. He grew up in a small town outside Dublin, Ireland, in a close-knit family. He met his boyfriend a few weeks before moving to Paris and will try to stay faithful.
In other news, Jae-Ha Kim of the Chicago Sun Times sat down with Kyle (Chicago) and asked him 5 Questions:
After watching his own life melodramatically played out on MTV as one of the Chicago cast members of "The Real World," Lincolnshire's Kyle Brandt is ready to tackle another kind of soap opera. The 24-year-old actor has a three-year contract, starting today, to portray Philip Kiriakis on the long-running daytime drama "Days of Our Lives." The show airs at 1 p.m. weekdays on WMAQ-Channel 5.
During a break from shooting, Brandt phoned from Los Angeles to chat with GLARE about his fledgling career.
Q. 'Fess up--You never watched a soap opera in the real world, did you?
A. Not as an adult, but I remember being hooked on them when I was like 9 years old. My sister and I had a baby-sitter who watched "Days of Our Lives" and we would watch it with her. It's like crack TV. Once you become involved, you become hooked.
Q. What's harder--classes at Princeton or memorizing lines for the show?
A. Princeton. I've always been good at memorizing lines. Even when I was a little kid, I'd hear something once and could recite it back pretty easily.
Q. On "Friends," Joey is a star on "Days of Our Lives." Ever want to share a scene with him?
A. [Laughs.] It'd be fun doing a scene with Dr. Drake Ramoray, but I don't think Matt LeBlanc is going to be making an appearance on the show. It's funny 'cause "Friends" is set in New York, so a lot of people think "Days" is shot in New York.
Q. Do your feelings get hurt when people refer to you negatively based on your "Real World" stint?
A. Not really. When you're on a show like that you're basically there for people to rip apart. I don't blame anyone for doing that. I watch those things and scream at the TV telling them how much they suck. It's fun to call them idiots. A girl on the "Days of Our Lives" cast said she couldn't stand me on "The Real World." Now we're best friends.
Q. Uh huh. Have you dated her, or any of your other cast members yet?
A. No! [Laughs] I have a girlfriend. (Note: This is Lori (Back to New York)) Besides, I've heard only bad things about inter-cast dating. I'm not going there.
This is also off the wire: Apparently, the London Observer is reporting that BMP settled in a neighborhood in New York's West Village last week at 45 Charles Street. A spokesperson for BMP was recently asked about the situation and said that it was policy not to comment on shows in production. But apparently, she acknowledged that there was a Real World related project going on. Strange, but oddly interesting.
Cara (Chicago) is still around... Instead of trying to make it into the entertainment business, Cara speaks on behalf of GOAL, which is a national campaign to deal with depression. In the tour, she admits of problems with being depressed during the show and taking antidepressants.

Who can forget when the Real World/Road Rules Challengers jumped off the Stratosphere tower in Las Vegas? Kat (London) supposedly broke the world record in bungee jumping. Well, the Road Rulers in the South Pacific will have the opportunity to do the same again when they bungee jump off Sydney, Australia's AMP Tower. Check out the AMP Tower at this site.
TV Guide has confirmed that BMP will film two more seasons of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge. Click here.

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
News... Well, as the new Battle is filming this summer... Be sure to find the new Road Rules cast on this season of the Battle. Paris most likely will not be invited to partake in this summer's challenge, as the past two last challenges have not included either Chicago or Las Vegas as to even out the numbers of seasons represented on the show. So plan to see New York through Las Vegas and USA Tour 1 through South Seas on the Challenge.
Check out the following websites: RW/RR Updates and Trishelle's Fan Club.
And we reported that Matt (New Orleans) was going to be on the new Battle this summer. Well, he mentions it on one of his journals.

For those of you who want to see the EW article with Colin, here it is:
Frat Chance
Colin M. exposes ''Real World'' editing tricks -- The buff ''Hawaii'' vet just won a share of the ''Battle of the Sexes'' cash and has a new sex book. EW.com lets him rail about the show he loves to hate by Josh Wolk
THE 'REAL' DEAL It's a cold ''World,'' says Colin
After battling Puck, Ruthie, Eric Nies, and the rest of the Bunim/Murray cradle-to-the-gravers for a month on ''The Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes,'' Colin Mortensen (with teammates Jamie and Mark) walked away with a share of the $150,000 grand prize and a new car. That doesn't mean the 23-year-old respects the series, to which the ''Real World: Hawaii'' vet had vowed never to return: He regularly lampoons it on his website, Colins World where he is also selling his new book, ''A New Ladies' Man,'' a frank, graphic, and humorous collection of advice for young men on ''how to get a girl interested in you, and what to do when she's interested and interested in sex.''
Considering how much you slam ''The Real World'' on your website, why did you decide to do ''Battle of the Sexes''?
They've called me for the last three and a half years [for ''Challenges''], but this time I had a vested interest and a game plan. I have my book, and if you've got some kind of buzz, it's gonna be a lot easier to sell copies. So I got in my frat-guy mode -- short hair, clean-shaven face, in good shape. If I'm gonna give them an image, I'm only gonna give them the same one they already have.
You sound very savvy about ''Real World'' editing, but it seems like very few of the other returnees learned anything from their first time.
Put it this way: If you're still on that show and you're 34, the savviness has gotta be lacking.... I don't think they're horrible guys. I think they're very involved with themselves, so they give the producers everything. They spend their time running their mouths off, and what they don't understand is the producers are gonna cut that and turn you into any character they want.
Would you ever advise your teammates to watch what they say?
People would come back from their interviews and say, ''They asked me a question about you.'' They can say whatever they want about me; that's what I signed up for. But I would go, ''Say what you like, but you're gonna look like the a--hole. It's never the person who's being talked about, it's the person who says it who looks negative.'' The only reason [the men's team] had the scheme to vote out the guy with the lowest score every week is because a couple of the more mature guys were like, ''I won't be caught dead sitting in a group like a 14-year-old with two other guys as we go, 'Well, what about that guy, he's pretty weak.'''
Are you very wary about what you say during those one-on-one interviews?
My mind was like was a machine. They would ask me a question, I would stop, phrase it in my mind, understand how that could be perceived, and begin. A director said, ''If you just free-flow, it's a lot easier, we get better stuff.'' I was like, ''Are you kidding me? If I free-flow, you f--- me! I'm gonna wait here, plan my response, tell you my sentence, and if you don't want to use it, fine.'' When Puck left the show [after smashing his room], he didn't give them an exit interview, he told them to f--- off. So they said to me in my interview, ''Don't you think it was really aggressive and violent the way Puck left?'' And I started laughing, and I said, ''Objection, your honor. Leading the witness?''
Well, for drama they can always go to people like Jisela, who got worked up about a challenge where you just had to hold your breath underwater.
I know! And she was under the water for 14 seconds! But who the hell thought that challenge up? Who said, ''We need really exciting television. I got it! We'll see if they can hold their breath!'' What kind of TV is that? And still shots of people sitting on ice? People hanging upside down? Are you serious? Who thought that up? And why were they ever hired? The sad thing is, they're making more than their talent.
And yet the bulk of the show is dedicated to these challenges, and you never even see some of the contestants.
There are so many people that even I have seen in interviews and been like, ''Oh, are they still on this?'' Like Jamie [from ''Real World: New Orleans''], who is f---ing hilarious. Seeing him on the show is my favorite part: You just see his ass with a beard in the background walking around. He had just spent 30 days in the desert by himself, where he pitched a tent for 30 days, drank water, ate oats, and meditated all day. That's some interesting s---. But why don't we find out anything about who he is now or why is he so far out?
Well, they were busy focusing on Puck.
The first day Puck got there, he went up to one of the other cast members and said, ''Hey, I'm Puck. This is my show.'' And it IS, it's Puck's show until he decides to leave. Bunim/Murray has this love/hate thing with him -- he's the only reason people are watching this show.
I loved watching Jon Murray having to adjudicate whether David could spit on Puck to keep Puck on the show. I imagined him repeating to himself in his head, ''Remember, these people made me a millionaire...''
He's a grown-ass man, negotiating a spitting deal between other grown men! At one point, you have to look yourself in the eye and go, ''I don't know what kind of life I'm leading.''
Also, Julie, a fan, wrote in saying that the E! True Hollywood Story is being done on the Real World. They are currently interviewing castmembers and it is unclear when it will air.

Melissa posted this at her site yesterday:
"Rumors are hysterical. We don’t know who started it, but… Veronica was told by Rachel that BMP was filming two challenges this year, one this summer and one in September. In the car on the way to the airport, Veronica said, “It’s so funny how rumors get started…” and told me about what she heard that night and that Elka later told her the same, but wasn’t sure about the information or the validity of the source. We laughed about it. Then, when we got to the airport, we saw Mark and totally casually, not having any idea that we just talked about the ridiculousness of the rumor, he goes, “So, did you hear about the September challenge?” Veronica and I looked at each other and started cracking up. I’m sure this phantom September challenge is a creation of somebody at a desk at BMP who has to call cast members back that they originally invited but then changed their minds about. Kinda like a consolation prize. Two challenges? No way. Or some former cast member has entirely too much BMP on the mind."
Interesting...

We reported on this way back when... But Adam (The Quest) and Timmy (USA - Tour 2) are on ECO Challenge this year. They join Ethan and Jenna from CBS' Survivor. Eco Challenge airs May 5 thru May 8 at 10pm EST on USA.
A Road Ruler in a commercial. Devon (USA - Tour 2) who is in several other commercials is in a Miller Lite commercial that airs during the NBA Playoffs. Thanks to Dennis for that.
And we got an email from Anna May who attended the Reunion. She definitely enjoyed the taping which lasted most of the day. Antoine and Jamie were two castmembers who got up and close and personal with the audience. While there were others who weren't so nice. Antoine even hung out with some audience members after the taping!

Battle of the Sexes is now over! It looks like not many castmembers went to the actual reunion. The flipbook at MTV.com of the reunion shows interesting, interesting things. Ellen seems to be engaged now (Do you think she'll invite Puck to the wedding?) Jamie no longer has a beard! And he has long hair. Genesis broke up with Paige, her wife, and now has a new girlfriend Beth (Not Beth S. from the show.) It looks like only 12 castmembers or so actually attended the reunion.
The Paris page at MTV.com is up, with little information!
And we hope you have a good day!

THIS IS THE NEWS OF THE YEAR: Our site has hit a million visitors! That's right... Over a million websurfers have laid their eyes on the Real World/Road Rules Blog. This number of a million actually comes from the counter being put on the site in mid-June 2002. That's right. In less than a year, over a million loyal fans have read news and information on your favorite Real World and Road Rules castmembers.
The site actually has it roots in June of 1998. Our webmasters began with the Real World/Road Rules Network which transformed into The Real World Road. Eventually, we turned into the Blog and have been dedicated to bringing you news ever since. So keep coming, because we hope to serve a million more people!

Hey, check out this fansite dedicated to Theo (Chicago).
Anyway, I'm sure that you are hearing that a new Challenge is being filmed this upcoming summer. So far, Trishelle (Las Vegas and Theo (Chicago) have been confirmed. Now, Matt (New Orleans) is supposedly joining the ranks in this year's Challenge. The new Challenge will probably air January 2004.

Kyle (Chicago), fresh off the news that he will be the new addition to Days of Our Lives as Phillip Kirkais, will be appearing on ET on MTV next week to promote his appearance. Thanks to Julie for the news.
Apparently, Arissa, Trishelle (Las Vegas) and Katie (The Quest) will join the ranks of Beth S. (Los Angeles), Flora (Miami), Veronica (Semester At Sea), and Jisela (The Quest) as official Real World/Road Rules Playmates. The issue will be out in June, but is considered the July issue.
And yes, for everyone who has been asking for the past few months. Casting for The Real World 14 (It's unclear if Road Rules will continue on as well.) is now on. The deadline for casting tapes is May 12, so hurry up and go to BMPs Casting Site.
Also, some interesting news about Road Rules. It seems like there is going to be a crest involved (just like The Quest). However, its a different kind of crest. Anyway, the crest has some crazy design involved and each castmember has the option of getting the crest tattoo if at the end of the trip (if they make it that far.) It still functions as a "piece" and there are 12 pieces to the crest. It's sort of a Road Rules tattoo. The last cast to get Road Rules tattoos was Australia with Shayne, Chadwick, and Kefla getting the Road Rules sign and the Christina, Piggy and Susie getting their own individual tattoos.

The article coming from NIU's newspaper stating that Trishelle and Arissa would be appearing in the June issue is not right. Apparently, both ladies did not show up in the June issue. Read the article that said they would. Anyway, apparently they won't even show up in the July issue...
Since news broke that TVGuide came out with pictures of The Real World Paris house... It has been scanned onto the internet left and right. For the most ready source of the pictures, go to Reality World TV. The house is quaint, nice and is a 1869 house, 30 minutes outside of Paris. The house has hints of the Back to New York house.
Oh, no... Them's are fighting words. One of the twins from the Real Cancun recently did an interview with TV Guide and one of them went as far as to call Trishelle a slut... Here's the article... On further notice, they say that they will pose for Playboy if the opportunity comes along.
And what have your favorite Battle of the Sexes girls done since leaving Jamaica? Well, two Filipinos of the show, Ruthie and Melissa are appearing on Fillipino-run clothing sites. That's right. Check out Ruthie and Melissa modeling off some duds at these sites. Tsinilas Clothing and Pnoy Apparel. Thanks to Nadia for that. (Note: Lori is also half Filipino... Sorry for the mix-up.)
Mohammed and Rachel (San Francisco) will be on tonight's episode of Street Smarts. Check that out if you have the chance.

Know how Trishelle and Arissa are set to be in Playboy's June issue. Well, Sarah Kozer is set to be on the cover of the June issue. Most likely, Hef and company will be pulling off some reality television theme for their June issue. Check for it soon.
We've been hearing that TVGuide has pictures of the Paris house... Is this true? Has anyone else seen these pictures?
And finally... Remember, Rebecca's (Seattle) singing career... Well, it seems the days of "Innocence" and hanging out with high profile stars like Sir Mix A Lot are not over. Rebecca has joined a band with none other than Matrix star Keanu Reeves. Reeves, who has his own band, Dogstar, has recently formed a band with Paulie Kosta, Rob Mailhouse, and Rebecca named "Becky". Check out their site.
And as part of Reality TV Week on Street Smarts... Rachel and Mohammed will be appearing on the show. Check your local listings. (Thanks to Jessica for that info.)

More information on the Kendal (Campus Crawl)/Nick Zano dating rumors. Kendal recently posted on her site that she recently went to a taping of her boyfriend's pilot. Well, Nick is filming a pilot called "Sweet Potato Queens" with Delta Burke. Thanks to Erin for that piece of information.
A special is being filmed in the beginning of May for VH1. The special will interview and follow several casts of the Real World and get the behind the scenes perspective of the show. Watch for that. It is uncertain when it will air.
And the Challenge is definitely being shot soon! We just got confirmation on that and more information is due to come soon.

The Real Cancun premieres in theaters today. (I don't know why they just didn't call it The Real World: Cancun) They keep advertising it as From the Producers of the Real World: The Real Cancun... Anyway, this is reality television's first venture into major motion pictures. We'll see how it does. The Quest, the other reality-TVish, spring break movie that is being produced by some other company has been put on hold. Check out The Real Cancun and look for Casey who supposedly hooked up with Trishelle while she was hosting Maxim's Spring Break Party in Cancun.
Kyle (Chicago) will start his turn as Philip Kiriakis on the soap opera Days of Our Lives on May 13. Check your local listings and support Real World alumni! Congratulations to Kyle for landing this role.
Theo (Chicago) and Trishelle (Las Vegas) were both at NIU last Tuesday giving a speaking engagement. Among the things mentioned, Theo now has a girlfriend. And Trishelle is currently single... Those rumors of her dating Andy Dick are UNTRUE. Trishelle mentioned that she and Arissa (Las Vegas) will be joining the likes of Jisela (The Quest), Veronica (Semester At Sea), Beth S (Los Angeles)., and Flora (Miami) as they will be posing in the June issue of Playboy. And finally both Trishelle and Theo say that they will be heading to another exotic locale this summer to film another Battle of the Sexes... It is unclear if they are doing another Sexes series. But they will probably change the format once again. (Good vs. Evil? Old casts vs. New Casts?) We will see. But it seems that they already selected the castmembers for the next challenge. All this in the following article NIU Northern Star. Thanks to Nan for that article... Exciting information! A Playboy issue and another Battle coming soon!
Regarding the reunion... All of the castmembers have been invited back, but it won't be all thirty-six castmembers. Word on the street is that some castmembers are passing up this reunion special for various reasons. The show is filming this Sunday in the MTV studios in New York City... But those who won't attend include one of the winners and a girl who was almost in every single inner circle.
And YES... An episode of Friends was rerun last night that had Teck in it. He played one of the interns. We reported on that when the episode originally aired.
A good site that promises to review new episodes of The Real World: Paris and Road Rules: South Seas and is currently reviewing Battle of the Sexes can be viewed here. An interesting feature of the site is that they post Melissa, Colin and Lori's reviews on the same page. Some problems with the size of the page though. Good site overall.
And Frank (Las Vegas) will be serving as a celebrity judge for UCLA's annual Spring Sing. Cara (Chicago) was last year's celebrity judge from The Real World and Frank takes over this year. The Spring Sing will be held on Friday, May 2 at UCLA's Los Angeles Tennis Center. For directions and ticket information, visit the Spring Sing website.

There is going to be a reunion special for sure. MTV recently posted on their site that all 36 members of Battle of the Sexes would be in studio for a special reunion. So I guess that dispels rumors of the inner circle reunion. Although, Colin did say something about calling Ellen out on one of her lies later on in the show. Here is the link
And remember that Kendal had a new boyfriend. We’ll she mentioned that her boyfriend’s name is Nick and he could be spotted on MTV Movie House Shorts. There is only one Nick on MTV Movie House Shorts, and that’s Nick Zano! It hasn’t been confirmed yet. But thanks to Gianina for pointing that out to us. Zano also serves as a VJ sometimes for MTV.
And yes, this rumor seems to be true… Trishelle may have a bit part in The Real Cancun. Time magazine recently reported that Casey, one of the castmembers of the movie hooked up with Trishelle when she was down in Cancun hosting Maxim’s Spring Break Party. However, it is 100% likely that we won’t see her. BMP is producing the movie and a crossover would be highly unlikely. Time claims that Trishelle won’t be appearing in the movie because she’s under contract for other things.
And Tami (Los Angeles) has been spotted by several people in a Pier 1 Commercial. She now has short hair… But you can probably recognize her.

There is a new site up that promises to update you on every episode of Real World, Road Rules, and Challenges... It's here, Check it out. It just started out.
And Colin mentioned on his site that Melissa and Antoine may have had a little fling while they were in Jamaica. He also mentions that MTV might mention it on its "wrap up" special. Does this mean that they are not keeping the same format as last year where they reunited the final inner circles... OR does it simply mean that Melissa is a part of the female inner circle (because we know that Antoine will be leaving for sure...
No word on that Ruthie rumor yet. It looks highly unlikely that she will leave Jamaica.

So, half of the Battle of the Sexes episode was cut off last night on the east coast. And played from the beginning. They didn't show who got voted off. Emily did end up leaving and Genesis and Shane were both voted out of Jamaica. This leaves Ruthie, Ellen, Lori, Melissa and Colin, Mark, Jamie, and Antoine as the final participants of the Battle of the Sexes.

The Trishelle episode of Punk'd is airing round the clock. But Steven was involved with it. Apparently, they set it up so she couldn't get into the MTV Network building in Santa Monica. The metal detector kept going off. Eventually, Ashton Kutcher showed up and she realized what was up.
Speaking of Trishelle, you can now join the official Trishelle fan club. It is run by Heather and you can directly email her at AMCFAN7@aol.com. You can also visit her webpage for more information.
And speaking of Trishelle... (It's just a Trishelle day...) Andy Dick went on Craig Kilborn saying that they were in a relationship. No one knows if this is true... We will know soon enough.
AND.. finally MTV announced that the Real World Paris would premiere Tuesday June 3rd at 10 PM and Road Rules South Seas would premiere Monday May 26th at 10 PM. Thanks to Doug for those dates.

For those of you asking... THEY ARE NOT CASTING FOR THE NEXT EDITION OF THE REAL WORLD. Casting for Real World 14/Road Rules 13 has not yet begun. But once it does, you can count on us to update you on when they are casting. We will also tell you what you need to do in order for you to be in the running. The Real World is highly rumored to be somewhere in Texas for its 14th season. But who knows? It can be anywhere.

Chadwick (Australia) is extending his 15 minutes of fame. On June 15, Chadwick will be part of an AMC special called Fame: The New Reality. It follows what happened to Tonya (Big Brother 3) and George (Big Brother 1). Most likely, it will deal with Chadwick and his foray into his acting career. Holly (Maximum Velocity Tour) will be mentioned as well. If you were wondering about Tonya from BB3, she's posing in Playboy's June issue.

Anti-war sentiment... Before Americans were banning French's mustard... The Real World was long gone. Apparently, BMP finished filming The Real World: Paris months ago. This according to E!Online's Kristin. It actually makes perfect sense in the long range of things. Both The Real World Paris and Road Rules South Seas are set to premiere in early June.

This is about the last strategic information we posted: (Highlight to read)
Many people are confirming that Melissa being on top of Ruthie on the scoreboard was in the beginning of the Sargent Says mission. In fact, no one has really confirmed the final 3, but most are saying that it will probably include Ruthie, Ellen and Lori. Now, this is assuming that Emily drops out (like Kristin/Wanda from E-Online said. But many, many people are seriously doubting Wanda's magic touch, since she has been wrong with spoilers before. Only time will tell.

Blast from the Past: Tami (Los Angeles) has been on the Smoking Gun. And she's not the first RWer either. Apparently, Tami's ex-husband Kenny Anderson, who she recently divorced is being sued by his ex-mistress. Tami is actually named in the suit as the wife that Kenny agreed to divorce in 1998. He never did. Apparently, Kenny promised his mistress that he'd leave Tami, buy her a multi-million dollar house and a whole bunch of other promises he never kept.
Tami is actually doing well for herself. She is raising two beautiful daughters and is working on her film and TV career. She appeared in several feature films alongside rappers Nas and Ice Cube. She also guest VJed for MTV a couple of times and appeared on the Steve Harvey Show and Drew Carey. She recently wrote a script as her life as an NBA wife. We wish good luck to Tami!

Quite the controversy... Many people have been set ablaze by Kendal (Campus Crawl) and her recent post on her website. Kendal referred to her "man", who we thought was non-existant. Kendal dated Blair (The Quest) briefly while Battle of the Sexes was being filmed, but they have since been said to be broken up. Her new "man", who she just went to Vegas with also finshed filming a pilot for a new television series.
Now, the rest of this crap is just some thinking out loud stuff that concerns Battle. It contains somewhat of a spoilerish type of info, highlight to read:
So, I'm pretty sure we can find out who the final three girls are in the Battle. Now, I think we can all agree that Genesis is out of the running. That was made pretty clear with her forty point defecit. So that leaves five girls, Ellen, Ruthie, Melissa, Emily, and Lori. Well, Kristin from E-Online said that when James ends up leaving, Emily ends up going along with him... voting herself out. So that leaves Ellen, Ruthie, Melissa, and Lori. Colin said on his website that both Mark and Ellen are present at the Battle finale special. Last year, only the remaining inner circles were present in the final reunion. We know that Mark is one of the final three guys (along with Colin). So that means Ellen is in the inner circle. So, out of the three girls left... Ruthie, Melissa, and Lori, two of them are going to be in the inner circle. Melissa made a comment on her website about Shane leaving the Battle. She made this comment while still in Jamaica. (She posted about two or three times while filming went on.) So Melissa either outlasts Shane or gets sent home with him. Lori keeps on saying on her website, that interesting things will happen. And things are going to be twisted around. (Maybe it's a hint about her being in the final three.) And also, someone emailed me about this... If you look at the preview episode of the season, they briefly show the inner circle scoreboard, with Melissa being first and Ruthie being second. As far as I know, this has not happened yet. (If someone could actually confirm this... it'd be great.) So, there's a lot of small hints for you to find out who the final three girls are. Hopefully, we'll find out before they air it.

So, Colin and the gayness... I'm pretty sure his comfort with his sexuality doesn't mean that Colin is actually gay. It's more of a joke kind of thing. Anyway, a lot of people have been emailing like crazy. And I have yet to find evidence or proof that Colin is indeed, gay. He's straight! Just trying to clear that up. Read the review that led up to this craziness. Have a good weekend everybody.
Mike, a fan, spotted Msaada on the $1000 Pyramid. Does anyone remember Msaada? She was on the Maximum Velocity Tour? She is one of the many Road Rulers who haven't been seen in ages... They should do a Road Rules reunion. Anyway, she looks very different from when she was on the show. Last we heard, she was hosting Homework Help on the Los Angeles Public Access Channel.
And... many people have been telling me that Colin (Hawaii) just came out of the closet along with half of the other guys on Battle of the Sexes... Go to his website and read his review.

Anyone see Theo's constant wearing of his Royal Family gear?? Well, Theo (Chicago) is setting up his own website at this link. There are no shirts for sale as of now. But we have been assured that they are coming soon. Thanks to the fan who brought this to our attention.

The last episode of Battle of the Sexes found Eric Nies and Anne packing their bags. With Antoine, Shane, James, Melissa, Lori and Genesis left out of the inner circles, it's going to be a real Battle to try and push those people into the inner circles. However, Lori comments over at her site, Everything Lori, that next week's mission is really, really LAME. But it contains some interesting twists. If I were you, I'd be watching.

Have been waiting for the Real World to hit the big screen? Well, it has in some ways... The Real Cancun (which is similar but not to be confused with The Real World: Cancun) is set to premiere in theaters April 25. Check out the site at The Real Cancun.
Just a clarification: the Steve we mentioned that was living in Los Angeles was from Las Vegas, not Steve from The Quest. He now resides in New York. And a new fan site came out on Kendal's domain. It's right here. Designed by Jaxon, the same girl who designed Kendal's site.

So, Frank is also dating a former Road Ruler according to E! Online's Wanda/Kristin?!? What is this madness?
And someone pointed out to me that Julie (New Orleans) had her band Bunkbed Incident (The shirt she wore when she got kicked out of Jamaica.) has been picked up by a major record label. That's right, Capitol Records picked up Julie and her band. She'll probably start touring more or will release a CD soon!

"Real World" cast decides to get real now that show is over
Byline: Norm Clarke

Section: CITY
They're out in the real world now, trying to cash in on their new fame.
Six cast members of "Real World" Las Vegas reunited on Tuesday night in the Palms suites to watch the finale of their highly rated MTV show shot in Las Vegas.
Alton and Irulan, who fell in love on the show, brought their 6- week-old bloodhound puppy, Duke.
Only Trishelle, who had a smoldering thing going with Steven, was missing. She is in Amsterdam, touring with Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew.
"That was over before the show was over," said Steven.
So what are they doing now?
Brynn is living in Portland, Ore., engaged to Austin, whom she met during the show. He popped the question Jan. 1 on Fremont Street.
Arissa is living in Las Vegas and dating an ex-Marine named "Rock," who is the personal bodyguard to Palms owner George Maloof. She's working on a demo for a hip-hop CD.
Irulan, who lives with Alton in Hollywood, is working on a record deal, too, and has a high-powered agent, ICM.
Steven and Frank are living in Los Angeles, as well. Frank is attending grad school at the University of Southern California. Steven hopes to get into radio. "He's too ugly for TV," needled Frank.
Meanwhile, Alton is keeping up with the war in Iraq. "I've got eight friends over there. San Diego (his hometown) is a ghost town."
He's supporting it, reluctantly. "We've had to fight wars before, but this isn't one of them. I think we could have done it differently."

Hola! Had a good weekend? We did too... :) Anyway, to clear up that update on Trishelle:
Trishelle is now rooming with Katie (The Quest). They live in the same neighborhood as Blair (The Quest), Adam (The Quest), Steve (The Quest), Frank (Las Vegas), and Alton and Irulan (Las Vegas). Trishelle could not make it to the reunion because she was in Mexico the whole month of March filming Spring Break Cancun with MAXIM Magazine. She just finished working with MTVs Jackass in Amsterdam and Switzerland on their European tour. Frank, Steven and Trishelle are all traveling around the United States doing promotional and club appearances. And she is involved with charity work for the Elizabeth Glaser Pedatric AIDS Foundation. Good luck to Trishelle and there are many of us hoping to see more of her in the future! (To book cast member appearances, go to World Wide Talent Group.)
Kyle (Chicago) will now have a recurring role on Days of Our Lives as the new Philip, set to air in May. This is courtesy of Soapcity.com.

Kay provided some information about the Trishelle hookup with a Road Rules cast member. Apparently its none other than the Ellen-teasing Adam. Kay told us that Trishelle posted a message on the EcoChallenge Message Board that was for Adam... It looks like they really are together OR were together. Trishelle also mentioned Katie from Adam's same season. Interesting to know.
And for those of you emailing about how Frank attending USC and the whole New York deal... Well, this comes from none other than the mouth of Frank and Steven themselves at their MTV.com profiles. Frank deferred grad school for a year. So he probably won't be attending USC until this upcoming September! He says something about moving back to New York after the show on his profile as well. You can check it out here. And assuming that Steven's profile is recent, he and Frank are still roommates. So go here to read his profile. I believe the real scoop is that Frank did not attend USC this year and is living in Los Angeles with Steven and Frank's friend Joe. Frank probably momentarily moved back to New York before moving out to LA.

According to a fan (Julie), there is an interesting sentence at Arissa's site. In the section titled "My Wordz", she says that you will be able to see me again, with a laugh included. It might be reference to an upcoming challenge. If BMP is planning a new challenge, they are in the planning stages as we speak. If it happens (AND it's very likely that it will) cast members from Las Vegas to New York and South Seas to USA Season 1 will be included. Ideas for the Challenge included "Battle of Good vs. Evil" which Jon Murray had mentioned. Personally, I believe that is a great idea. However, it would be a little difficult to select who would be "good" and who would be "evil". And who would want to see a team of "goody goodies"? Anyway, I think it would be great just to get all the past castmembers who would never really do the show again. IE (Andre (New York), Aaron (Los Angeles), Dominic (Los Angeles), Tami (Los Angeles), Melissa (Miami), Irene (Seattle), Stephen (Seattle), Matt (Hawaii), Kaia (Hawaii), Justin (Hawaii), Effie (USA Tour 2), Erika (Islands)....) I mean, we haven't seen those people in a while and some of them HATE the Real World/Road Rules or are having personal troubles.
And then of course, you'd throw Emily in there just for fun. Emily should have her own website. It'd be interesting to see what's going on with her.
And then, if you haven't had enough of your Real World Vegas... the full season is coming out on DVD May 20th. Basically it includes 4 discs, contains all 28 episodes, and Bonus Content: bonus footage, house tour, cast video profiles, and episode summaries. Retail Price: $49.99. Special thanks to Mike for that info.

So what's up with the Las Vegas cast? Frank moved out of LA... Didn't go to USC and is now living in New York. Steven shortly moved to Austin for a while, but he will join Frank in New York as his roommate. Arissa is still living in Vegas. Alton and Irulan are still living in Los Angeles. Trishelle is supposedly dating a former Road Ruler. And Brynn is moving back to Oregon (from LA) to be with Austin, who she is engaged to and is expecting a child with soon.
On a side note as well, I believe that Irulan and Alton are the second hookup on the show. Colin and Amaya were the first and there have been a lot of flukes in between. But I believe realtionships like (Trishelle/Steven, Kevin/Lori, Kyle/Keri) are not real. However, I do believe I read somewhere that the thing between Kyle and Keri was real and hot. However, they were VERY careful with what they showed to the cameras, because of Nicole. Well, that doesn't matter now, seeing as Kyle is with Lori now.

The Real World: Las Vegas auction is now going on at MTV.com. The cheapest things are at least $100.00. Two days left: Here's the link. All proceeeds go to charity.
Norman (New York/Battle of the Seasons) opened a site about his movie, The Wedding Video. The movie actually came sometime while Maximum Velocity Tour was still filming. And this was the movie that Beth S. mentioned when she was kicked off at Cabo San Lucas. The site tells you about how you can order the movie and updates on the cast members that were in the movie. Apparently... Syrus (Boston) is now married. (How could the ultimate Real World player get married??) and he's working with Sony in Santa Monica. Heather (New York) released a new album. Lindsay (Seattle) is now actually working at the Bert Show in Atlanta and as an entertainment anchor for CNN. Rachel and Sean are living in Wisconsin where Sean is the DA. They have two beautiful children, Evita and Xavier. Norman is living in LA working as an art director. Mike (Miami) is living in Los Angeles and just got his piloting license. Cory (San Francisco) is now married and teaching in Anaheim. Julie (New York) is now a mother and lives in Birmingham, AL. Lars (London) is deejaying all around the world. But you can read all of that at Norman's website: The Wedding Video.
To clear up some things:
Yes, Kelley (New Orleans) and Scott Wolf (of Party of Five fame) are dating and they have been dating for a while. It is unclear when Peter dropped out of the picture... But it was sometime after Kelley returned home from Cabo San Lucas, when she filmed Battle of the Sexes. They were seen at Oscar parties in NYC a couple of days ago.
Speaking engagements and questions about speaking engagements of former Real World and Road Rules castmembers can be found at Worldwide Talent Group.
And finally, Las Vegas ended tonight. Probably the first time every castmember left loving everyone on the show.

You heard it here first: After appearing on The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Janet (Seattle) resurfaces. Janet who appears on Channel 1 News, the educational news program, only made an appearance on The Real World 10th Anniversary Special after her stint on the Challenge. Janet will be appearing in Freaky Friday alongside the Parent Trap's Lindsay Lohan and True Lies actress Jamie Lee Curtis. Janet will play Dr. Mary Ann Smyth and it is unclear what her purpose in the film will be. Janet joins Jacinda as a Real Worlder releasing a major motion picture this year. Jacinda (London) will star in The Human Stain alongside Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins & Ladder 49 alongside Joaquin Pheonix.
I apologize for the lack of updates in the past week. It was a pretty crazy week for the Real World... Who wants to slap Emily, Ruthie, and Ellen for that decision??? Kristin from E-Online said a long, long time ago that Emily ends up leaving BOTS because of James. (She ends up voting herself off...) And what about The Real World? Who thought that this season was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long?!? (That was because they increased the number of episodes this year.) I mean... How many times can Irulan and Alton break up? We're back. And we hope you check in regularly for updates!
